Really useful video and I'm so glad it was mentioned about travelling as I almost put it in my hand luggage & would have gone through the x-ray machine!
So the best way forward is to carry the camera in your hand luggage as a carry on and not to pass it through the x-ray? What about the unopened ones? You said that even they get exposed right?

I made a stupid mistake thinking the cartridge storage can be opened freely. Now I wasted around 5 polaroids exposed to light and damaged :'). I'm not aware that polaroids can't be exposed to light before I found this video. Thanks man, lesson learned for me.

@@adorbsemsss thank you so much I got new batteries but after fixing it I tried to take a shot and it just started printing out multiple films...like 7 films and they were all black...wasted...I quickly took off the batteries and I've been scared to try again since then... please what could be the cause?

Hello sir!! Do we have to remove the film from the instax even if it does contain more shots or should it be kept inside untill the next use ?
If you still have shots left, go ahead and keep the film cartridge in the camera until they are all used. Make sure to not leave your camera in a hot place, like a car, or the film will be damaged.

Do you have to shake the film to get it developed or put it in a dark place to let it develop or will it develop on its own?
You want to just let it sit and don't shake it. Shaking the photo can cause an uneven distribution of the photochemicals.

Try taking out and then reinserting the batteries while the lens is open (the lens is in the “on” position).

I had accidentally sent packed Fuji film through TSA security check(x-ray machine) , is it still viable? I haven't opened the pack yet
My photos are either completely black on the lit setting or still TOO DARK on the house setting. I've tried them all and the photos are sooooo dark. Helppp :S
Make sure you are adjusting the exposure dial to the setting that is lit up, also make sure you're not blocking the flash. The film is only 800 ISO, so not super sensitive to light. Shooting in some dark areas just isn't possible

Maybe, I'd try new batteries and turn the camera on and off, try some test photos, see if that works.
For how many photos do developing chemicals last, and can you refill them somehow?
Developing chemicals are within the film itself and do not need replacing especially. Everytime you buy more film, you have more chemical too
I need to ask what if I take a picture and it gets blurry and not show? It keeps happening to me
It sounds like the photo is underexposed and you may be moving the camera too much while shooting the photo. Try using the flash and holding the camera as still as possible to see if that helps.

My flash indicator doesn't blink, it'll turn on then shut off and most of my pictures are black. I can't get my flash to work. Any suggestions?
The only things you can really do with this camera are to change the batteries and the film pack and see if it works then. If not, then something is defective on the camera.
Can you tell me why when taking pics on a sunny day at the beach my pics come out all white, I mean you can’t see anything.. it’s soooo bright you can’t see a thing. I tried looking up but no answer :/ TIA!!!!
The Fuji Instax Mini film is pretty sensitive to light, so it can be difficult to get a proper exposure someplace really bright like the beach. Make sure the dial is set all the way to the sun icon to make the lens aperture as small as possible. You can also shade the lens from direct sunlight with your hand or a hat or something to help reduce the amount of light entering the lens. My only other suggestion is to find a shady spot nearby as there can be a big difference in the amount of light present. As you experiment and learn the strengths and weaknesses of this camera, then your photos will come out much better.

Yep! You can use the mirror on the lens to help frame yourself for the picture.
Why are my photos coming out overexposed!!!???? In the sunlight. How can I turn off flash?
I added the film and the little buttons that show the brightness just keep flashing and won’t let me take pictures
You need to put in new batteries. Make sure to replace the batteries with the lens in the 'out' position, meaning the camera needs to be turned on when you replace the batteries. If the lights are still blinking after you do this then your camera may have an electrical issue and need to be serviced by Fuji.

you know how you first take the picture and it comes out a black card first? Well I took a picture and my black card never came out. I believe it is stuck in there.

I added the pack of new film . I take a picture and it sounds like it will push the photo out and it never does . It changes from S to 10 but the film was never pushed out. Idk what do please help.

Why aren’t,when I turn on my camera, the lights turning on? I have the batteries. I put the film in first and then the batteries. The film has been exposed to light. I haven’t touched or pressed my fingers on the film. I used the batteries that fujifilm left for me in the box. Please help, my camera is a Instax mini 9

The only thing I can think of is that the batteries are not placed correctly into the camera, the marking can be difficult to see. You could double check that, and maybe try a different pair of batteries if that doesn't work.

How does the flash charge?
It charges automatically off of the batteries. On this model there is no way to turn it off.

The camera has a set focus that cannot be changed. If your photos are blurry then it's one of 3 things: You are too close to your subject, your subject is moving too fast, or you are shaking the camera too much when taking a photo. I hope this helps!
I put the film in the camera and my s still won't change to 10 I need help
It will change to "10" when you press the shutter button to eject the black film cover from the film pack. If that doesn't change the counter then I'm not really sure.
