USB-charged batteries are often non-user replaceable, making devices obsolete over time. The Instax Mini 90 and 99 have user-replaceable rechargeable batteries
I prefer the batteries! I usually use this camera for parties or pics for crafts w/the kids. When the battery gives out, you just pop 2 more in. Don't need to find an outlet, adapter or cord!
I wanted this camera bc as you mentioned, we take tons of pictures but they never leave our phones. But the pictures are coming out dark. I think these are better for when it’s bright out, so I’ll return it and get the printer

Hi! I have been using my instax mini 12 but when I took a photo outside or to a landscape it always, ALWAYS take out the flash! So… it makes my photos super dark when it is a lot of light !😩 I don’t know how to cover the flash!
I don't have the Mini 12, but I was having that issue with my Mini 9 (Fuji is guilty of making it so you can't turn off flash in most of their cameras). I learned that covering it completely with tape when I didn't want flash helped out immensely.

Must be alkalines only (according to the manual). Because of how flash circuit works there (it must be different with some precautions to support lithium batteries safely) and maybe other factors, but fire safety is the main reason why you should not use lithiums where alkalines are expected.

Hi, i took some shots with this cam in an outdoor location and the photos turned out horrible and the flash doesn't goes off i've wasted 3 strips on that day, all the objects and people was out of focus, can you suggest me a way that i can take some quality pictures in this cam if i were to take it in outdoors.

Big difference The instax mini 12 Is quite amazing and have some big changes but the instax 11 have a major flaw wich is when you turn it on the Lens sometimes doesn't Open. I heard other people saying it including some video where lens sometimes doesn't open bug I have not tried or have a Mini 11
I've bought Instax Mini 12 but I wonder if my camera is not faulty. I am close to finishing second film, and almost all pictures, regardless where on the outside and with what light taken, seem overexposed - so bright on the sunny areas of the photo (shadowed ones are ok). I noticed there is a bit bump on the back door for film input - not the indent you mentioned in the video, just the door seems to me to not fully shut themselves (when shut, I can still press them and I see they go further a bit, to be in line with the rest of the camera). Can it be the reason, or am I overanalyzing my lack of skill in 15 photos of different light sceneries...?
I bought mini 12 & also SQ1 few months ago, but I found that the pictures were not too bright or colourful, it’s kinda hard to shoot a good picture 😓😓😓especially when shooting indoor
Hi, I'm interested in purchasing either the Instax Mini 11 or 12. I'm not a professional photographer; I just want the camera to capture moments. However, I'm unsure about which one to buy. I'd like to know which of these cameras takes better pictures and if there's a significant difference in picture quality ?
They have the exact same picture quality and size since the pictures are not digital and more just a chemical reaction lol but definitively the 12 is way easier to use than the 11. The 11 is still pretty simple to use but the 12 is more refined to be used by literally anyone, i find the twisting to turn on and switch to selfie mode of the 12 more satisfying than the 11 which the lense does not twist, it just jumps out and you push it in. The 11 is smaller and not as flat so if you have issues with hand grip maybe the 11 would be more comfortable but overall they have pretty much the same features with the exception of the 11 not having the automatic exposure and auto focus. If you want a little more control and want to use your photography knowledge a bit more the 11 is best but if you don't want to worry about being super careful or calculate and still get pretty photos the 12 is your girl. Sorry for the paragraph I hope it's helpful even tho it's been a month lool

Good video, bought one of these yesterday for my wife, all the photos are over exposed and quite blurry maybe a faulty camera or film idk

Yes you can! Instax film pretty much requires almost no caring for when it comes to the developing (unlike Polaroid).

no ink is involved. The film contains all the necessary chemicals to develop into a photo.
