Hi! I'm from Piedmont (a region that was not mentioned in the video) and which however also has a lot to offer on a culinary level... Two of the best typical dishes offered here is the "Bollito alla Piemontese" (mixed boiled meat) and "Fritto misto alla Piemontese" (mix of meat, vegetables and typical fried desserts: "semolino", made from wheat semolina, milk and sugar and "amaretti", which are crunchy biscuits, are my favourites)... Just out of curiosity, if you pass through our area you will be surprised to discover that in Italy there are also recipes based on vegetables... 😂 One of these, which you really can't miss, is the "bagna caüda" (literally hot sauce) which is a simple sauce cooked in a large pot and eaten in company based on garlic, oil and anchovies and in which many different vegetables are dipped: peppers, cardoons, Jerusalem artichokes, potatoes, beets, carrots etc.
dear girls, Italy = 20 regions = 20 different cuisines. 2010 declared a UNESCO heritage site. No country in the world is like Italy. so when you eat Italian food, you have to bow! Thanks 😂

Hi! Italian Pizzaiolo here! I invite you to travel to Italy one day and try the food, even the one you don't like in America, because it's really different. Saying this from experience because when I traveled to America and tried things like sea food or pizza they were not so delicious or good as those I eat in my home country unless when I went to authentic Italian restaurants with nonna recipes. Food in the US is very different from Italy in taste
In Genoa, you can find the greatest fried calamari on Earth. It's so delicious, no sauce is needed, just a little squeeze of lemon. The place is called L'Antica Friggitoria Carega, it's across the street from the pirate ship on the old town harbor. That place is just glorious.
But how can you be so ignorant? Pizza hut? Domino's pizza? That's just plain shit. Pizza is a creation of Naples. Everything else in the world is just a pale copy or as in the case of commercial American pizzas, as I was saying, just plain shit.
@@nicoladc89 I am a historian of pizza as well as being Neapolitan and the grandson of pizza chefs and bakers. How can you not like pizza? If pizza is too salty you should maybe change the restaurant. Or you make pizza rolls: use half a roll, then you put tomato sauce on the roll (like you would put jam on a bread) and some cheese on top of it. If you don't like one type of cheese, then simply try another one. This should also work with toast ... then you have pizza toast.
