I have a WTX 264 clue to the Eden EX112 cab. These two units are an absolutely fantastic sound. Granted that I dont play Metal or heavy Rock and usually cover general pop , jazz, folk,gospel etc the Eden kit is simply brilliant. It's the " enhance" control that puts "goosie bumps" all over. I bought and Eden EC10 50watt amp to start with just for quick rehearsal meets in members lounge / dining rooms and the occasional pubs and folk used to coment on how gorgeous the depth of that small 50watt gave out. It's that "enhance " dial. Its great. I tried other makes. Those that I would have otherwise chosen, but as an upgrade that was easy to transport ( very easy to transport) it was the WTX 264 and an EX112 cab. A fabulous punchy, compressed, pure, clean, depthy, chest punching, proper bass sound. I am so pleased I have one. At some point soon I will be looking to get a larger rig. Very likely to be an Eden set up, actually No! This will do. I have a DI on the back! But then I may need to buy a separate compressor. Thanks guys n gals RJ
250 watts huh....mmm I don't think so, played thru one and at max it sounds like 50 watts, it's big brother at 500 watts isn't much better...edens big propaganda bs deal, and I'm an Edenite for life ...just not these two amps plssss
If you use a 4-ohm cab with this head (especially the 4-ohm cab they often bundle it with), it definitely gives you every ounce of 250W. I've A/B'd it with similar-rated amps from PJB, Ibanez, MarkBass, etc., and this thing sounds delightful and can hang with hard-hitting drummers and big guitar half-stacks better than most competitors. I suppose you could say that all those competitors are inflating their RMS ratings as well, but I'll let people with testing equipment answer that. Using my ears, this tiny amp is a beast and plenty adequate for a bar gig or a rehearsal-space jam session.
Tara Grimmer I ended up using an Eden wtdi going into a crown xls 2,500 class d power amp paired up with two 8 ohm Eden dxlt 212, happy with the result

I think with eden products you would put a distortion or od in line. (If so inclined). Nice to have a change up on this channel.
I assume that Andertons doesn't stock Ampeg, but if you do, you should do an all about the bass on one of those products.

I use this head with a mesa boogie 4x30 cab with celestion speakers.. sounds great with my electric guitar.
