Sadly no! I'd love a remaster of this and the sequel (which is even harder to get running than the first game) but I don't know if it'll ever happen. 😭

It doesn't have to be that precise. 2) You don't have to romance the Swananas and Rashberries separately first before you can try for the Pigixe, they just need to be feed joy candy and you're good to go. Though you'll only get the romance award from whichever one triggered the minigame. 3) Something I only learned last week, is that the Halo of Hardness accessory has a lot of helpful abilities, the most powerful being that if a pinata wearing one gets sick, they'll automatically get better after a few seconds. Which explains the lofy price tag. And this isn't a tip, I just find it gratifying that I've yet to see a person who didn't have some kind of problem with one of the endgame pinatas. For me the Galagoogoo was my nemesis. It took 50 goddamn days to get the one. Never again.
Thank you for the tips! Viva Pinata is a beloved game from my childhood but I was never very good at it, so I appreciate the information. 😊 I genuinely expected the Galagoogoo to be the worst pinata to catch for me too. I also have a distinct memory of accidentally discovering the reddhotts, the tafly set itself on fire so I put it out. Then I discovered that they sold for like 2000 coins and would sort of spam transform and sell the reddhotts for a bunch of money early game. Your struggle with the Eaglair and the Roario are so real. And I distinctly remember stalking the chewnicorn, dropping gems in front of it until it would finally eat them.

I feel like there's a lot of potential and real estate for an indie dev here! There aren't too many games readily available that follow the Viva Piñata format, and I think it would be nice! I'll always enjoy a virtual pet/creature collecting sim!
I absolutely agree with this! Plus as this game proves it can easily get by with a distinctive style rather than needing super realism which indie games are great at. They could even pull some inspiration from vaguely similar game mechanics, like the SA2 Chaos or any other pet/collection game, to create something new and unique. The niche doesn't have to be Viva Piñata though I wouldn't mind if they borrowed it wholesale since it was excellent overall (I just worry copyright might strike it down lol.)

Omg as a kid I remember loving the demo for this but never being able to convince my parents to get the game for me! Glad I get to see the game completed
I really hope they make a remake! This is one of the best cosy games ever. The one thing that lets it down is the size of the garden. If they gave us different biomes and garden it would allow us to keep and have more pinatas. Also by creating unique habitats and biomes they can include so many new pinatas. I really want a polar biomes to have lots and lots of penguins. They could even sell it as DLC
The second game had a desert and snow biome, but only those two and it was just for catching new pinata. It would be great to have permanent biomes of different styles. I'd love a fairy themed garden for the Galagoogoos. 😁
I used to love this game so much ! My favourite piñata was the tamed sherbat, I even made a fanart as a young teen. Unfortunately I never really got further than taming that sour sherbat before the game got too overwhelming for me. I was playing on computer and the game was lagging a lot. The further I got into the game and the less playable it got, my computer couldn't deal with all the piñatas and plants. When the garden became bigger, I really wished I could zoom out more because it was really stressful to go from one part of the garden to the other and to find a specific piñata when a fight notification would pop up. The AI problems when trying to direct a piñata to a specific point was also a part of the issue and managing the plants was stressful, although I guess I never hired the gardener. With all that said I really loved that game and played it again last year, the concept is still very fun. There are so many piñata that you showed in the video I never knew existed ! Especially the evolution, I knew you could change the color of a piñata but didn't know you could "create" a new rare specie. Maybe I will one day come back to it, but I don't know if I'll ever "finish" the game like you did ! I wish there would be a remastered version that would fix the little problems here and there, the game would be relaxing if the frustrating controls were not that bad.
Tamed Sherbat is so adorable, I always loved its colour and pattern. 🥰 And oof, sorry to hear about your computer issues when you played! There's so much to keep track of in this game, I can't imagine trying to do all of it on a PC that's threatening to self combust. 🫣 I'm hoping one day we'll get some PC remasters or maybe even a spiritual successor from a dedicated fan. It's such a great series of games and I'm sad that many people have never played nor heard of it, or have no way to relive the memories.
I'm not sure how much this holds true for the first game, but in Trouble in Paradise its a lot easier to play with multiple gardens if you want to try and get every Pinata. The reason for this is that once you've met a Pinata's appearance requirements in your current garden, they continuously show up even if your garden doesn't currently meet them. Only so many pinatas can appear outside your garden at any given time, so eventually whether or not a certain pinata will be outside your garden is up to chance. When you get to the last 15 or so pinatas it can literally take days for them to show up, and this is especially frustrating for pinatas with big/annoying requirements like Roario and Dragumfly. However, whenever you make a new garden, you have to meet appearance requirements all over again, and it becomes much easier to collect everyone. Based on a few other weird quirks such as the comically low garden space system I think that Rare intended to encourage players to make multiple gardens instead of just one. (Gardens aren't save files and keep all of your progression, packages, journal entries and chocolate coins) I heavily enjoyed this video as one of the last few vp superfans remaining, always nice to see this game get more love. Edit: Also worth noting that the PC version of VP1 is very strange. A lot of the black and white pinata textures are inverted and the graphics overall are a pretty decent downgrade, which is weird given that you'd think the PC port would be the best looking. IIRC theres some other jank in that version that makes me gravitate towards the console versions a lot more. I wish it got a proper steam release or something though!
Thank you for the information! I can't remember how helpful multiple gardens are in the first game, unfortunately I couldn't test them as they're linked to Games For Windows Live which doesn't work anymore. 😔 In terms of the PC graphics, it's been so long since I played I can't really remember them on Xbox360. I'll check out some graphics comparisons to remind myself!
@@PsydoofYT I actually wrote this comment before finishing the video, and I almost garuntee that your troubles with the Eaglair and Roario were caused by this, I had pretty much the exact same experience when I used one garden for every piñata in TIP (and that was without using Gretchen) If you plan on doing TiP in the future, I definitely recommend getting your hands on the official guidebook, which is decently easy to find online and iirc doesn’t sell very high. Its not only very detailed but also a lot more efficient than looking everything up on the wikis. The requirements for most piñatas are changed in one way or another (some are easier like Chippopotamus but some like Fizzlybear are way harder) and there’s a specific piñata who has such a ridiculous set of requirements that you’d think it was a playground rumor. TiP is definitely my favorite of the two due to having multiple all time fave piñatas and having a lot of QoL improvements. (I swear the ai is at least 2% better) There’s a few things it falters in, ponds are a little more tedious for example, but it’s overall way more enjoyable and I would love to see you attempt getting all the piñatas.
Hey, thanks! Trouble in Paradise would be awesome to play, I just need to find out if I can emulate XBox 360 as there was never a PC version of that game. 🤔 Currently though I am working on Dave the Diver 100% completion. I don't know if that interests you but it's a very fun game with a collection aspect! 🤓
The original was released as a PC Games for Windows version which was eventually discontinued, but you can set it up with a lot of tinkering! There's some guides on Reddit to do it. 🙂
Love your humor! I def want to see you do the same challenge with Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise! More pinatas, but if you skip out of the Master Romancer award I wonder if it's possible. Thanks for the great vid!
Hey dpauline! I'd love to play the sequel but it's a pain to set up as there was never a PC version, unlike the original. I've tried emulating it in the past (XBox 360) but it was so glitchy it was impossible to play. Maybe in the future if I ever have the money to get a genuine copy and an Xbox 360! Thank you for watching. 🥰
YOOOOOOO VIVA PINATA! LOTS OF FUN! Srs tho is the eating candy cannibalism in the racing game? I feel like it is. 7:53 I forgot you could make villagers hate you (don’t remember if they actually can die if you hit them enough but they definitely aren’t happy about it that’s for sure. Wait…. They can evolve?
“I remember this taking longer as a kid.” Yeah, I feel the same way. Though in honesty I have a feeling the reason for that is I spent an absurd amount of time just doing stupid shit instead of actually making progress lmao
When I was younger I absolutely loved the Viva Pinata games. The first one on the Xbox360, Peril/Trouble in Paradise and the one on the DS. I feel like there's a gap in the gaming market for these types of games, since I rarely ever see something like it. I'm absolutely positive a spiritual successor/remake of Viva Pinata could go big. Would love to replay these games on PC but idk if there's any legal ways to purchase them.
If you own a physical copy of the original PC version, you can patch Games For Windows Live so it's playable again. 😊 Otherwise it's either emulation, or Microsoft Game Pass and an Xbox as far as I can tell.
@@PsydoofYT I think I own a physical CD for PC as well, if only computers still used disk readers.. 😅 Probably gonna search the house where my Xbox360 is hanging out and play it on console. 😁 Great video by the way, loved the blend of humor, quick storytelling and pleasant vocals to listen to. This is the PC version so I could play with mouse and keyboard! It's a bit of a pain to set up as it's no longer available on PC iirc, but it can be done following guides. 🙂
Would you consider doing a 100 or 200 days for Trouble in Paradise? TIB was arguably a lot more fun due to the increased amount of content, things able to do, and some relative fixes done to it.
WTF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 500 SUBS?? i hope the algorithm continues to bless you becos this video rules!! :D i remember playing it once or twice from renting it out via family video but younger me didn't really understand how it worked/i kept getting upset over losing piñatas LOL. if it's on pc tho maybe i can actually play it again :0
Hey nerdatello! It is on PC but it hasn't got much support from Microsoft anymore, so you'd have to find a way to either play with Games For Windows Live patched, or removed entirely. It is possible though! If you want an easier route and own an XBox, you can play it on Microsoft Game Pass apparently. 👍
RUclips did its thing and recommended me this amazing video! Viva piñata has been my favorite game since I was little and I love watching people play it! (Now I will keep begging the universe for a VP trouble in paradise for PC version-)

I agree, I cut a lot because I was worried nobody wanted to listen to me talk about pinatas for an hour. My mistake! 😂 In terms of the second game, it was never on PC so that leaves emulation or finding a genuine copy along with an Xbox 360. It's on my to-do list, but won't be any time soon I'm afraid. Sorry to disappoint, but I appreciate the support! ❤️

I'm really interesting to know ONE thing. How did you actually play the game? Because i have my own physical PC version, but because Microsoft shut their server, i can't play it! T^T But, thank you, you make me almost 20 years younger just by looking this video lol.
Look up "Viva Pinata PC install guide" on Google, and the top link should be a Reddit post. I used that to get around the Games for Windows Live issue! Though this was a while back, don't know if the guide still works. 🤞
...tip Multiple gardens... Are in fact multiple gardens...not multiple save files Also You can use the post office as a warehouse So box up pinata and.send.them to yourself...in the first game you do need to remember to what's in each box
I would love a remake too it has no much potential imagine more piñatas in the log and the ability for a bigger garden since y'know we don't have to worry about the limited power of a 360
@@PsydoofYT So I looked into it but it seems it's only for Xbox and Windows. I don't have an Xbox and it's not on Steam. Would you happen to know, if I buy a copy for Windows, if it would still work on Windows 11? Since it was apparently originally designed for Windows XP / Windows 7. I tried Googling it but am reading mixed answers.
I'm not sure as I played the PC version on Windows 10. It might run with Backwards Compatibility, but the issue you'll probably have is getting around Games for Windows Live. There's guides online to do so however!
I found a copy online to play it on PC, but it was a pain to set up as I had to install some patches to get around the Games for Windows Live (which no longer exists). Omg as a kid I remember loving the demo for this but never being able to convince my parents to get the game for me! Glad I get to see the game completed
Aww that's a shame, it's one of my favourite childhood games! ❤️
And oof, sorry to hear about your computer issues when you played! There's so much to keep track of in this game, I can't imagine trying to do all of it on a PC that's threatening to self combust. 🫣
I'm hoping one day we'll get some PC remasters or maybe even a spiritual successor from a dedicated fan. It's such a great series of games and I'm sad that many people have never played nor heard of it, or have no way to relive the memories.
Will say, first time seeing this and love your humor
Thank you 😍
I'm not sure how much this holds true for the first game, but in Trouble in Paradise its a lot easier to play with multiple gardens if you want to try and get every Pinata. (Gardens aren't save files and keep all of your progression, packages, journal entries and chocolate coins)
I heavily enjoyed this video as one of the last few vp superfans remaining, always nice to see this game get more love.
In terms of the PC graphics, it's been so long since I played I can't really remember them on Xbox360. I'll check out some graphics comparisons to remind myself!
@@PsydoofYT I actually wrote this comment before finishing the video, and I almost garuntee that your troubles with the Eaglair and Roario were caused by this, I had pretty much the exact same experience when I used one garden for every piñata in TIP (and that was without using Gretchen)
If you plan on doing TiP in the future, I definitely recommend getting your hands on the official guidebook, which is decently easy to find online and iirc doesn’t sell very high.
First video im seeing of you and instant sub !
I loved this game growing up !
Thank you! 🥳
Incredible video. Truly a Piñata blessing.
❤️
I've always loved this game and I'm glad its got a huge following still. Also, the sound effects you added had me rolling xDD
Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 🥳
I poured HOURS into this game as a kid, I’m so happy to see your video on it!
❤️❤️❤️
Amazing video, love viva pinata and are you going to do a video on the sequel?
Thank you! Hopefully one day 😁
@@PsydoofYT I hope you do :)
@@PsydoofYT I hope you do :)
Great vid! Would love to see more Viva content. Maybe try this challenge with more days for Trouble In Paradise??
Hey, thanks! Trouble in Paradise would be awesome to play, I just need to find out if I can emulate XBox 360 as there was never a PC version of that game. 🤔
Currently though I am working on Dave the Diver 100% completion. I don't know if that interests you but it's a very fun game with a collection aspect! 🤓
@PsydoofYT how are you playing the first one in this video?
The original was released as a PC Games for Windows version which was eventually discontinued, but you can set it up with a lot of tinkering! There's some guides on Reddit to do it. 🙂
@@PsydoofYT Thank you for your response!! I'll look into that 100% awesome video!
@@PsydoofYTYou sound British, would there not be a cheap genuine copy at cex? or did they close those down in the UK 😩
I am British, but I'm currently living in South Africa. I have no clue where to even look for second hand stuff here. 🫣
The first time playing I would always hit Seedos for the extra seeds, but then he starts dumping weeds in your garden. 😂
This was great I never knew this game was so good! Can't wait to see all you create
Thank you! 🥰
Omg I have completely locked this game in the back of my mind. This makes me so happy to see again
My nostalgia when that opening cinematic played... 🤩
These pinata names sound like new slang words
I'll gala your googoo
Awesome video!! I hope you hit 1k soon
Thank you, so close now!
Day 28: "Hello there, would you like to experience immense panic?"
OMIGOSH!! love to see you back, and love the video!!
💜💜💜
“I remember this taking longer as a kid.” Yeah, I feel the same way. Though in honesty I have a feeling the reason for that is I spent an absurd amount of time just doing stupid shit instead of actually making progress lmao
As the first video I’ve seen from you, I love it
Definitely should do the second game too 😂
Thank you so much! I'm hoping to, just need to find out how to set it up. 😊
Ahh, memories. Great video! I'm glad this got recommended to me!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
Suddenly seeing more viva pinata content on my feed, this is awesome
I haven't thought about this game in years! I got so frustrated with it when I was young, never got close to completing it.
Same, younger me could only manage a garden of Whirlms and Sparrowmints. 😂
Girl, how do i find your channel only now ? You are hilarious, got yourself a new follower today
Thank you so much Lili! 🤩
Otherwise it's either emulation, or Microsoft Game Pass and an Xbox as far as I can tell.
@@PsydoofYT I think I own a physical CD for PC as well, if only computers still used disk readers.. 😅
Probably gonna search the house where my Xbox360 is hanging out and play it on console. 😁
Great video by the way, loved the blend of humor, quick storytelling and pleasant vocals to listen to. Surprised the subscriber count wasn't higher with how good the quality of the video was.
Keep up the great work ♥️
Thank you so much for the kind words 🥰
I hope u rarely post because u keep your quality like this video and good nostalgic game choice btw keep going i believe in you and ima watch u till you succeed and pass tht I am subscribing now please keep going ❤
Thank you 🩷
Honestly now that you know what you're doing id love to see you try this challenge again, maybe go for a proper 100%- I'd also love to see you handle the sequel bc iirc there are some BONKERS piñata evolution methods in there
Hopefully the plan one day! But gosh getting a hold of the sequel is even harder. It never got a PC version. 😞
Do you play with a mouse? on a pc maybe? if that, how?? :D i want do do it too
This is the PC version so I could play with mouse and keyboard! It's a bit of a pain to set up as it's no longer available on PC iirc, but it can be done following guides. 🙂
im so happy im not the only one that grew up on this game franchise
We were lucky 😍
This is so nostalgic, I miss the days of watching my older sister play this game
I used to play with my mum watching, and she'd have the wiki page up so we could work out all the color variants. I miss those days. ❤️
Would you consider doing a 100 or 200 days for Trouble in Paradise? TIB was arguably a lot more fun due to the increased amount of content, things able to do, and some relative fixes done to it.
I want to play it, but there's no copy I can get a hold of besides the Xbox One version through a Microsoft Game Pass. Neither of which I own. 😭
I love this video I’ve never seen anything abt this game but now I’m obsessed
It's so good! I hope we get some remasters one day so new and nostalgic players alike can have fun with it. 😊
I need more viva pinata content to exist. Good work
Thank you 😁
Hope the unexpected success of this video enourages you to make more! This was good fun
Thank you! I'm currently working on 100%ing Forager for a video, but gosh the last few achievements are grindy. 😂
@@PsydoofYTohh ty!! i only have a 360 so i guess a physical copy is the route for me lol
RUclips did its thing and recommended me this amazing video! Viva piñata has been my favorite game since I was little and I love watching people play it! (Now I will keep begging the universe for a VP trouble in paradise for PC version-)
I hope there is a remaster one day so we can all enjoy it again! 🤞
THIS IS THE GAME I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND FOR THE LAST LIKE 9-10 YEARS OF MY LIFE!!! first ever original email address I ever made for myself when I was in primary school revolves around viva pinata 😂
Which pinata name did you use? 😁
i NEED to play this game again, i remember coming home from school and loading this up every time and just playing it for hours.
You can play them on Microsoft Game Pass if you have an Xbox! 🥳
omg viva piñata content!! i loved this game as a kid!
🥰
Now I want to play viva piñata
I want to play the sequel again now I've played the original 🤩
You dug up an ancient memory with this video. Holy moly.
Playing it again was such a nostalgia trip! The hours I spent as a kid trying to get Master Romancer and every colour... I never got this far though. 😂
I remember watching the TV show all the time as a kid. Watching this video makes me want to play the games.
I didn't know there was a TV show 👀

Hey CaptainBulbasaur, thank you for watching! Bulbasaur is my favourite Pokemon btw. 🥳
I would love to see an hour long viva piñata video with a lot more detailed explanations of each day. Maybe you could play the 2nd game next?
I agree, I cut a lot because I was worried nobody wanted to listen to me talk about pinatas for an hour. My mistake! 😂
In terms of the second game, it was never on PC so that leaves emulation or finding a genuine copy along with an Xbox 360. It's on my to-do list, but won't be any time soon I'm afraid. Sorry to disappoint, but I appreciate the support! ❤️
@@PsydoofYT I understand completely! Looking forward to seeing what you do next! There are not many good female RUclipsrs for the kind of content I enjoy - long form, relaxing, good for falling asleep to, talking about or playing my favorite “cozy” games. I really hope we get to see more like this from you. ❤️
Omg I used to love viva piñata. I always wished that they had a few more bigger garden upgrades cause I wanted a chippo but I didn’t want to get rid of any of my other piñatas or their houses.
Chippopotamus requirements were crazy, my poor garden briefly becoming a boggy swamp 🫠
I also hope it gets the remake it deserves, and I wonder if you'd be willing to try it again with more of a plan 😭 that would be cool to see!!
If it got a remaster I'd probably go for 100% and get all the Master Romancers and colour combinations. 100 days is a fun challenge, but it's nice to just chill and enjoy the game. 😁
oh viva pinata I never got to play you but how I yearn to experience your joy and wonder once again
I hope for remasters one day!

Alright fine I guess I'll 100% viva pinata again
I wish you many Eaglair and Roario visits 🙏🏻

This is one of my favourite games of all time! Doenut
It's such a brilliant game! I love Elephanilla for the cute trumpet noises... Though I'd do without the farts. 😂
I don’t know why but despite how much I love this game, it’s always made me weirdly a little uneasy. Don’t know why.

As a fellow lefty and lover of this game take my sub hahaha, took me back to when I got my first xbox 360 as a wee 9 year old, have a great day
Thank you so much, lefties UNITE!
I'm really interesting to know ONE thing. How did you actually play the game? Because i have my own physical PC version, but because Microsoft shut their server, i can't play it! T^T
But, thank you, you make me almost 20 years younger just by looking this video lol.
Look up "Viva Pinata PC install guide" on Google, and the top link should be a Reddit post. I used that to get around the Games for Windows Live issue! Though this was a while back, don't know if the guide still works. 🤞
@@PsydoofYT Thank you for the tips!!! I will try it very soon!

Which is your favourite? 😍
...tip
Multiple gardens... Are in fact multiple gardens...not multiple save files
Also
You can use the post office as a warehouse
So box up pinata and.send.them to yourself...in the first game you do need to remember to what's in each box
i loved this game on xbox when I was younger. I would love if they did a remaster of the game.
Same, I'd love to play the sequel again. 😍
I would love a remake too it has no much potential imagine more piñatas in the log and the ability for a bigger garden since y'know we don't have to worry about the limited power of a 360
If Pokémon can have over 1000 species, we can have over 1000 pinata! 👏🏻
This game seems fun! I vaguely recall watching the show once or twice as a kid but had no idea there was a game. Might look into getting a copy 😛
I hope you can find a copy, it's such a great game. 🤩
I never played this game, just the family mini game one for xbox but this is such a fleshed out game!! I was quite surprised
I hope it gets a remake or remaster one day, it's such a unique game. 🥰
Did you play this on an emulator? Do you know what emulator you used/ how you’re playing?
This is the PC version, I found a copy online and with some patches got it working. I did try XBox emulation but it's still not great, unfortunately!
I love this goddamn game so much and would cry if they made one for pc
What are you playing this on?? i've been wanting to play this for months but i can never find out how???
I found a copy online to play it on PC, but it was a pain to set up as I had to install some patches to get around the Games for Windows Live (which no longer exists). If you want an easier time playing it and don't mind spending some money, I've been told both games are on the Microsoft Games Pass. 😊
ive never seen this game before and i dont know how this is beatiful
It's such a great game; fun mechanics, lovely graphics, and an overall cosy vibe. 🥰
