I love the artist alleys the most when going to cons. Every year there are new or again coming artists with new different artworks, stickers, pins or keychains, they are always special and limited, and personal for the one buying and making.
It’s a wonderful experience in the artist alley!! The amount of amazing people you meet is beyond my imagination before I joined this scene, and I’m grateful for all of you and the attendees who make this atmosphere wonderful!! It definitely feels personal when it comes to purchases and interactions, and I think there’s a special place both physically and metaphorically for that :0
I'm SO STOKED to have been part of this year's Anime Expo 2024, especially in my first year of doing this!!! This is the craziest thing, and I'm so excited to share this LOOONG vlog experience with you Zookies, cause I had a blast editing and putting this together! So many things happened, notably: new sticker packs and keychains, semi-viral reel that people thought was funny, sales day record highs, and meeting all the amazing people!! (artists, attendees, volunteers, and staff!) :>> stay tuned for more sticker zoo vlogs, and let me know what you think!!
Thank you!! Haha it was a spur of the moment after my housemate reminded me in asking if I had any ideas for AX! The travel sizes would’ve definitely made it more crazy in scale 🫢
Really enjoy your vlogs. You have a lovely personality and seem like a genuinely kind person. It’s so nice to see. Thank you for sharing with all of us. 😊
Oh... the pain I feel when someone says yeah I graduated high school in 2016 or 2020... I'm like... am I really that much older now.... I graduated in 2009.
My sister showed me your deordorant reel and I thought about stopping by to pick one up as a souvenir. But nah, leave it for the people who really needs it 😂
LOL thank you for considering the offer haha I really hope the people who did grab one were able to give it to someone who needed the deodorant as well!
What an adorable video! I kinda miss my artist ally days because of all the fun and nice people to meet! But I do like to sleep in the mornings. xD Great video please make more of these. //Yami from Sweden
Thank you for your kind words! I must imagine it's nice to reminisce on the artist alley days after leaving the scene and getting the good sleep in the mornings haha,, all the way from Sweden though?! Shout-outs to you :D
Honestly I saw your photos showing the relabeled deodorant on twitter and recognized you in my recommended feed from that LMFAO Congrats on your first AX and excited to see your work and content grow!
i found you on tiktok and now here i just wanna say i love your content the only creator i watch fully through and dont skim lol keep making amazing art and love your energy
The tiktok algorithm is crazy, here’s to hoping the platform won’t get banned! 🙏 But I really appreciate your support and I’ll keep getting these videos out! 🫶
OMG! I saw the reel and was going to come and find your booth, but I was in panels the rest of the weekend so I didn’t make it to artist alley before closing 😢
I could see why someone would say that this year's Artist Alley was mid. A majority of booths usually featured Hoyoverse stuff (Genshin, Honkai Star Rail) or Hololive stuff - which is not a surprise considering Artist Alley this year was smaller then in past years. Artists weren't allowed to share tables this year, and Aisles were bigger while part of Kentia Hall ended up being a extended Exhibit Hall space. All that meant less Artists, while still not having as much fandom diversity, and I think there was a priority to bring in newer artists over artists who have been to Anime Expo for years which meant the product diversity wasn't as wide as well (basically, Prints, Stickers, Acrylics and very little else). All of that makes for a more lackluster Artist Alley then in past years.
This is a really good insight to have! I’m sure the jury team has their reasons for selecting certain artists over others and with the surge of newer artists, myself included, it makes sense why product diversity could lead someone to have this opinion. A lot of my shock and awe comes from my first time being at Anime Expo, so my perspective could be skewed toward appreciating everything in sight as opposed to someone who has been a regular attendee of Anime Expo for years!
i would go to ax in the future, but my money would get destroyed , im all the way from the midwest in Chicago, illinois and it would cost me like lot of money because of airfair/badge/hotel/food
I tried to apply for a lot of events and conventions! I luckily managed to get off the waitlist for AXChibi, and tabled at that show, which I like to believe helped with my application for Anime Expo. My most recommended tip is to do a lot of shows and have good color branding for displaying your products!
Love the table ^^ Have you dealt with copyright problems for selling fan art/art of shows? Since I wanna sell that kinda stuff on Etsy but I'm scared of getting into trouble with it
thank you! always working on improving the table display! i haven't dealt with any copyright issues, but I did hear about some of the exhibitors receiving a cease and desist order at the convention, which you can find referenced in another AX2024 video with a quick youtube search. It's a little scary starting, but I encourage you to try! The worst that can happen is the cease and desist, and you will always be able to pivot from that, I believe in you!
I'm A New Artist And I Make "Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Lego Monkie Kid" Well For My First Haha! I Loved The Vlog And Man I Honestly Love Your Hair. Oh! Who Is Your Favorite Genshin Impact Or Honkai Star Rail Character's? If You Play.
why call it "stuff" when its products you sell and make money from. stuff is like saying your work is blah but gimme your money. Stop calling it stuff. Your art is a money maker for you. stuff is what you bring with you to put product on or display art on. Alot of artists are calling it stuff why? So much work and time to put into Stuff that makes you money, its Art or product(s) and its much appreciated to buy and own that you made with your hands and imagination.
This is a good reassuring note to value ourselves as artists! I think sometimes we can get caught up to very quick and easy everyday vernacular using "stuff" to describe things so definitely a flaw I can fix when commentating about my work and art and products!

Awhh I hope you’re able to come to anime expo eventually!!
OMG! I saw the reel and was going to come and find your booth, but I was in panels the rest of the weekend so I didn’t make it to artist alley before closing 😢
I heard the panels were intense!! And long lines too?!? I’m really glad you still got to experience a wonderful part of AX!
I love your energy, i cant wait to start doing cons
They’re super fun!! You’re gonna love it, be sure to check out other artist alley vloggers to see their behind-the-scenes!
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
wooohooo!!
Those random screaming guys were the anime men!! They posted the video they were filming that for a few days ago I think
Ohhh!! I gotta watch it now
What kind of mic do you use your audio sounds really good for such a crowded space
I currently use the DJI mic that comes with the Osmo Pocket 3 vlogging-specialized camera, which a lot of other creators have begun switching over to!
OMGG I wish I seen ur both when I was there those haikyuu stickers and the yoru pin UGHH 😭
Awhh! The Artist Alley is too big to find everything no doubt, so I'm sure hopefully we can catch each other at another convention!

So you're the artist that was giving out deodorant 😂 I thought that was funny when someone told me that.
Yeaaa! I’m glad you found my video! Trying to conjure up devious and diabolical ideas all the time 🤧
How did you get into anime expo in your first year? Do you have any tips for new artists? ❤️

What lavalier do you use, and do you film with your phone, if I may ask?
I use the DJI microphone that comes with the Osmo Pocket 3 vlogging camera, though I did formerly use my phone to film, along with Rode Microphones

i bought code geass stickers, at least for me if I see code geass art I buy it at cons because it's really rare (at least for me) to see
Yesss Code Geass definitely deserves more love
where r ur earrings from?
I got them from Lovisa :0
@@StickerZooDesigns thank you!!!!

that's bc JJK, Spy x Family, and Dungeon Meshi are super saturated at artist alleys. Niche series do better bc of less competition.
That’s true too! I was considering how spy x family is pretty saturated by the collectible and exhibitor vendors too, lots of overseas merch
im sure some Kick streamer said that Alley is suck on stream
They’re doin’ it for the clicks and views?? 🥲

God that literally smells awful, anime fans literally need to shower once in their life.
The occasional stench has multiplier properties turned on
Lmfao the guys screaming "I'm an otaku!!!" Were other RUclipsrs, they're named @TheAnimeMen
ohhh! I've heard of them, but had no idea what they looked like bahaha
dawg ur so inspiring !! i started tabling a few months ago too, hope to be able to get to where you are one day ₍^ >ヮ
