This is a super duper late comment, but I just stumbled on your vlogs, and it's really reassuring/relieving to see someone else who has a full time Day Job but still likes to do art/artist alley on the side! I'm the same and just got back into the con scene, and have had a bit of imposter syndrome of doing cons as 'vacation cons' with just the goal of breaking even to cover costs. I just really love drawing and making merch for the love of it, so it's really inspiring to see others like that. I hope you keep making dollars and keep visiting friends and eating good food!
Ahhh I'm glad, thanks so much! Yea I think a lot of artist videos online tend to be from folks who do art full time, but there's actually a lot of folks I know who do artist alleys on the side as well. Ultimately the lifestyle and work/life/hobby combination that works for people is going to be different from person to person, just because we don't do it full time doesn't make us any less qualified to be at that artist alley!
Really enjoyed the video. Loved your presentation style with your Vtuber model, and cute transitions. It was cool to see how you presented the different aspects of the trip, and detailed what the overall AX experience was like. Keep up the good work!

You need the expense hacks like bringing in food supplies mixed in with your mech during setup and morning resupplies. I’m just thankful I’m local so its a 10 min commute for me so my main expenses are for parking.

Yea we always brought in food so we didn't have to buy expensive con food 💸 we walked everyday but I heard parking was really rough this year!
