You guys were NOT wrong about people smelling sour the first day! My friend and I were there the whole weekend (as regular patrons), and literally all day Friday, all we smelled was weed and body odor! You can imagine that did wonders with my sensory issues. But I'm glad you still had fun and got some great business!

I'd love to host more of these segments in the vlogs on top of my usual commentary about the con :DD Please let me know heheh :>
As a local, this sounds crazy, but exciting! I really hope they can reorganize though, because right now I don't like how the convention bottle necks at the escalators or the crowded hallways... but I'm glad to see Sac-Anime growing in popularity! Also thanks for the stickers, my kids loved them!

I really hope you can keep coming to SacAnime so I can make sure to check out your booth. I definitely think there are things for the organizers to work on especially since this convention has grown to be so big now. I remember when SacAnime used to be at a hotel. Yes, I've been going to this convention for that long on and off through the years.

Awhhh yeah! I had a self serve display I created and wanted to test out at AIOC while having my main full display at SacAnime with me. It’s also easier for helpers to set up a self serve display than the complex grid set up I had at SacAnime ;-; I’m hoping that you’ll get to visit my table next time! I’ll be at Anime Night Mart which is on 9/21 at the Westminster Mall!

Coming from the bay to living in Sac now... I have seen Sac anime grow since the time my kids were small cosplaying... I think I went to like the 2nd and 3rd yr Sac Anime during the summer. I have never went in the winter.. so much have past to see how this event has grown and blossomed! SoO glad yall made amazing sales at this con🥰🥰‼️‼️ I too agree with writing my inventory on paper when it's being sold lol.. something about having it on paper and physically seeing it and holding it helps with the visuals. Especially after packing everything up and putting all your things away. I started June of this year selling charms, targeting more towards kpop community... but also to anyone else in general since I want it to be universal to anyone who likes them☺️. I love your videos, I agree with also expanding my merch too! That stuff toy you wore on your neck is adorable and I'd buy it‼️‼️☺️ I subbed to Ur channel and I'll be following your other social media handles after I finish submitting this comment🙋♀️😉
It was extremely lovely seeing the event in the vendor and artist perspective after having gone twice to SacAnime and known about the event since I was young as well!! I’m super pleased to hear other artists have a good time here. I do think writing inventory on paper has a different appeal for sure and visually helps organize how we go about reflecting on the event and ordering for upcoming events. I’m really glad to have your support and I truly appreciate your depth in your comment :D I’m honored to be able to continue down this path
ur killin it! great to see u at phx impulse! i've only done sac witner and sac summer coincides with my local con saboten, and didn't do too well but it's nice to see multiple artists sell out of stuff this year! i'll add, alot of having the crazy merch and manufactured goods, apparel, hats, more to the catalogue is just money. i spenty about 3k in merch this summer getting new stuff made, got about another 2k to spend to get plush made, but if you've gotta live on that income from AA it's hard to build up the stock! i use funds from my day job to do this and i probably wouldn't be getting those thigns made if i couldn't pull from my day job. AND with more catalogue there's more risk! it's cool to have bags n shirts n plush but when t hey flop they flop hard! and you don't recoup those expenses at a meaningful rate, im rambling but, i guess im just trying to say, take ur time. be cautious on the big ticket items you wanna have.
Honestly this was probably the message I really needed to hear because I’ve been heavily pondering, expanding into other product lines and like I said in the video, I felt a compelling urgency to be quick with it, which definitely would take a hit on the business if I don’t have the funds for it or if I wasn’t able to recuperate the cost of inventory in a few months 😭😭 I really appreciate your insight. @@StickerZooDesigns the pressure is real, and it IS fun to get merch made but like you do a lot of events, you don't gotta spread yourself thin, the build up of more exciting things kind of happens organically, especially those booths with tons of big ticket items, that just doesn't happen overnight!
