You know, Terratech vids are some of my least favorite. The game doesn't look like it poses much of a challenge to Lathrix.
It's shortage of challenging mechanics and simplistic feel and kinda make the game feel... Lacking.
Games like Stellaris, Hearthstone, and FTD (May you be remembered) are rich in content and mechanics. There's always something new to play with. Terratech has an interesting base and intriguing concept, but there's exact challenge. It's a basic exploration and relaxing game ik, but I guess it just isn't for me.

I know I'm 2 years late on this, but you could use 2 sky anchors on each side of the wall, and the turret can rest on the wall.
Should work like a charm, and look pretty cool.
Make turret pillers. Won't be as pretty, but build a simple tower that can be placed inside right next to the wall. You can still get the same sort of effect when looking at it from outside.

Terra Tech needs flat shields that can be placed in specific directions so bubble shields aren’t necessary for everything.
Make spider arms come over the walls.. would fit the theme of the lair..

Hey Lathrix, I really hope you build a Cargo Plane to transport all of the components stored in your old base into the new Spooder Lair. It would be amazing now that Better Future and antigrav flight are things that exist.

antigravs really are OP, they should be on 30 second cool downs and only work for a random time between 5-10 seconds.
i used to have a realy fun bug in previous versions where as i was moving my tech at it's max speed it would teleport me to the same tech 2 saves earlier
so if i could find my in the world my curent tech i could get it backand have bonus items..... tho i had to be carefull as if i tried to take control of the tech duplicate it would crash and corupt the whole save

Your hover having anti-grav weaponry, and long range precise guns, I'd call it a surgeon.
Well this has been LONG overdue.
Why not move the rotating bases a one or two blocks away from the edge of the gate? That way the gate will not catch along the edge of the "fort walls" and you can open them in any direction you want. Just an idea :) P.S.: Lathtrix, ever considered making a Space Engineers Survival series or two? It's right up your alley considering you managed to build so many cool and functional vehicles in From the Depths.
Have an arm that comes up over the wall and then receive the original tart pan on top of that point it's on the wall on top of it and ask the same blank differences instead of it being connected to the actual what is connected behind it but I'm still work hopefully

3:29 If the turret rotates toward the target, then you could side-mount the auto-cannons instead of using some smaller weapons.
The problem is the auto cannons are three blocks by four blocks so you would need to plan pretty far ahead
@@theoryames146 If he plans to use them at all then he'll have to plan ahead. Placing them flat instead of sideways won't change their space needs... Other than the orientation

Great vid! Also could you try making a flyer which uses the anti-gravity cannons, fires them into itself, and then have unlimited anti-grav? Don't know if you can shoot yourself though... further testing might be required.

Couldn't you have a pillar besides the wall supporting a platform on the wall?
Edit: that way you can have the tech anchored and have it on the wall too.
2nd Edit: Like you did in Hearthstone! THAT'S WHERE IM REMEMBERING THIS. To build a structure on top of another structure you built a pillar from the ground and had a platform on top!

The issue is that the tech on top would be unable to anchor to the platform tech, as a tech can't anchor directly onto another and would have to be placed and locked in either with the hook system (Which is difficult to get as it's experimental) or just built in, either way it means It's two techs which I'm trying to avoid! It's not a bad idea, but just.. difficult / laggy!

Definitely the best flavour of overpowered. Why? brecause it's unreasonably strong BUT doesn't deal damage itself.
Use it for farming and getting progress done. Don't use it as easy mode.
Do try and find some synergy with the anti grav bubbles, Someone mentioned Flak?

Lathrix you should make a vehicle that can switch between a ground, hover, and flyer quickly.
My flying bike with the hover glitch pretty much fits that already as It has flying, ground and a somewhat unstable hover mode :)

My dissapointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
I know this video is old as dirt so this comment will be long after the fact but the better future shields would have worked better for the door as they are directional and extend far from the source but are flat so would have looked a lot better.
