@@batgurrl there are many people out here in the world who don’t have access to wealth, but still are able to eat healthy workout regularly and it maintain a great skin regimen. It does not take wealth to maintain good health. Also good genes play a part in that.

Love her message about the importance of ‘shining the light’ on educators. She is correct about some teachers paying for supplies out of their own pockets. True Angels Of Mercy.
I taught both Middle School and Elementary School for 12 years. From my experience, 100% of teachers buy supplies for their classroom out of their own pockets; not some but all.
@@heyheyhey40 I saw a segment on TV demonstrating teachers having to personally buy a wide array of supplies. Bless your heart for the work you did. I hope you got rewarded by an occasional student personally thanking you for enriching their lives, or in some cases saving their lives. For some unfortunate kids it’s the only stable situation in their lives👍👏👏☮️🙏🏼
@@batgurrl My student’s (really the parents) were very appreciative. I always got cookies, chocolates, gift cards, and coffee mugs! Every coffee mug in my house was given to me by a student. ☺️

Sheryl Lee Ralph is an amazing and very positive person who gives hope to others to love themselves completely. I agree that to love oneself means that you can love others and respect everyone too! My daughter and daughter in law are both teachers who are very giving to all the children that they teach. They are rewarded by their students with respect, love and gratitude. Teachers should be paid more for educating our children and for future generations and also be given the tools and resources to better instruct all.

What she said about shining the light on education and everything else is why I love this show. I'm a preschool teacher and I go in my pockets many times but I always will for those kiddos. The first episode hooked me when they spoke on funding. I love teaching tho no matter the struggles. ❤❤
