that supercharger is actually insane. Its perfect for countries where is "illegal" to tune for more power. You can hide this thing for inspections etc. Or just remove it really quickly without having to change the tune or anything. Im in germany and im considering this now

You need an intake flap so the motor can pull air through it rather than through the turbo when it’s turned off.
You should try the torque amp on the CBR1000 engine from the golf cart.
On cooper talon would be better ..the golf cart is already overpowered

Well the torque amp could be leveraged better by using it as a primary turbo that is in a combination arangement so it spins the actual turbo so you can achieve faster boost especially in something laggy!

It's an Eco tec which makes it a Saab. So Swedish. And yes it will take a 100 shot. The turbo version is 265 hp from the factory.

I think this one will top out around 175-185hp or if you want to spray it maybe 200ish but not for long.

All a real turbo adds is exhaust cost, for $2,500 cost you could easily install a real turbo with no bs on/off switch

It's not just the size it's also the efficiency and power made before hand. The more power you make the less with will do. Just because a motor is small doesn't mean it doesn't make hp. Shit we get 50hp+ out of a little 5hp based engine.
Also remember that this car runs quicker stock. With this on in the off position it's a restriction and obviously going to be slower. So it's not a fair comparison vs a stock car without it. If you add this to your car and ran say a 16.5 days or weeks earlier and think your going to run 15.0s now your going to be disappointed. The faster you are the less it's going to do also. You add this to a car running say 14.0s. You'll be lucky if it goes 13.50s.

I’d say remove all doors, interior pieces and unnecessary things like chairs, headliner, sound damping and everything that is not needed for it to drive then do a run and check how much faster it is
Hoonigan tried that with a crown vic and it actually became slower because of the aerodynamic drag.
But if they keep the Glass and doors and just removed interior weight then it would definitely be faster.
I still say the Cobalt should be called the "Electric Boogaloo".

I would say get the cart more stable before boosting it, maybe space the wheels out a bit to make it less tippy or something
I love it. I'd try it with a microswitch and relay to activate automatically at full throttle only, to eliminate any driver differences on activation.

@@MMOchAForPrez No, it's Audi on the top of the range V8 Diesel. Volvo uses compressed air for the same purpose and has a small compressor that it charges on deceleration. Pretty neat idea. However, I would love to see it done with this!

Tyler Abell with a compound turbo the bigger turbo is boosted by the smaller turbo. You’ll get bigger boost at a lower RPM and strong top end power without a lot of lag.
@@straight_intro The point is to spool a larger turbo when it usually would be lagging. However, lag don't matter much in a big turbo drag car because you stay in boost anyway if you do things right.
In audi system electric just to spool real turbo faster to prevent lag. In diesel applications that will allow having bigger turbo without lag issues. Just allow turbo to get air bypassing the electric one.
