He, the entire team at NewsNationNow and WFLA all deserve Pulitizers, but Brian Entin especially and JB Buino too, because that week leading up to Gabby’s body being found - he lost his voice from marathon covering every single day AND the day her body was found he suffered his own personal loss with the loss of his Uncle who worked as a Firefighter during 9/11. And so many days since and with such incredible attention to detail when it comes to integrity and respect. Both are exemplar examples of what good journalism truly is, and how it should function ethically. Been a long time since I’ve seen such great work in reporting like that, and Entin especially, in terms of investigative reporting and being there from the beginning, being so devoted, so passionate, so critical, driven to find the truth for justice for her family, justice in holding law enforcement’s feet to the fire (as any and all journalists should, always be careful to accept anything anyone says at mere face value only, until there’s double/multiple verification at all times). Journalists such as these make me very excited to pursue that as a career following my approaching graduation.

Im with you Ashley. I'm normally forgiving of other people's mistakes. But in this case, when the police let the only suspect slip away even though they said they were watching him. And they didn't find Brian even though they've been searching the reserve for weeks. And now two people are dead and there seems to be no possibility of finding out what happened between Gabby and Brian, I really feel infuriated and in disbelief as to why the police made so many mistakes in this case. Are they really that incompetent or where they actually helping the Laundries?

Here's what happened. Laundrie didn't like Gabby complaining and she wouldn't stop so he took choked her to shush her and went way beyond and she died.
Laundrie went home and told his parents and they helped his escape and told him he's going to spend his life in prison or go to the swamps and have the predators (alligators/,snakes) take his life. It's pretty easy to figure out because that's the way those people without a soul are like.

Well the killer is dead, he died, so thats that, its not like he is on a beach enjoying margaritas. I guess the Laundrie parents could get time for obstructing justice, but in order for that to play out they would have to be stupid enough to talk. Idk If I were his parents and I found my son was already dead I would call up Petito's fam and try to apologize, and that would probably get me caught though for helping him or for knowing what he did and thats why the Laundries aren't calling the Petitios cuz they don't want to go to jail, they would rather live with that kind of crushing guilt that will probably fuck you up so fucking bad they will get cancer in a couple years out of pure stress. Personally Id prob rather take the jail time, at least you wouldn't have to deal with that emotional stranglehold of horridness. I keep wondering about how much Brian must have been a momma's boy, who would go to their parents house after murdering their fiancé that used to live with them unless u knew your parents wouldn't turn you in.

They didn't have any evidence that he killed her, they didn't even have a body so they couldn't really waste their chance at charging him without anything to back it up.
After they did find reason to arrest him (using her credit card) he was already gone. That's why they started searching for him. Unfortunately, before then he was free to come and go as he pleased.

@Davey Smith my thoughts exactly! We have the right to remain silent. You dont have to incriminate yourself. You are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof lays upon the prosecution. The very reason the defense attorney told them , told Brian not to answer any questions. The reason for their silence is fear of incriminating Brian and following their attorneys advice. It's not lax or unlawful. It's your rights. Otherwise we would have a police state and live under tyranny. You would have no protection from police harrassment. Unreasonable or unfounded searches and traffic stops. It' not unlawful or obstruction of justice. Remaining silent is not unlawful. We wouldn't know until it was our child. Also Bertolino stated Brian told his parents he and Gabby had a fight and were just taking a break like they had in the past.

There’s just always these dang stigmas that push to the forefront & cloud judgement though!!! As did in the Moab pullover. A 911 call is made stating Brian was indeed slapping Gabby. Well she obviously retaliated & struck him causing a mark on his face. So the cops there go with the mark on his face instead of the initial 911 call??? You know, so what if Gabby had bruises on her or was upset??? No big deal to those male cops. Especially since Gabby had been mind f’d to believe everything was all her fault anyway! 😢

Another thing is that Gabby spoke to her mom at the Moab incident and then again later at least once. Wouldn't that have set off some alarm bells? I also can't see why Gabby wouldn't have told her mother what was really going on. Her 2 sets of parents should have been worried and on high alert about Brian after the Moab incident. @@bettywillbrowse I think the video the person above is talking about is the one when Roberta drives the mustang home after the cops had it, because she then does get into the truck with the husband and drives off. I don't think there has been any video of either Brian leaving or Roberta bringing the mustang back after Brian went for his walk in the reserve. There's only the surveillance camera footage of that, that we know of so far. I hope it gets released so we can see how they mistook Roberta for Brian, as I'm thinking she deliberately dressed like him to make it look like he came back. Because everytime we have seen her, she is wearing a long top over Capri style shorts and a baseball cap. There's no way they would think she was Brian dressed like that, and just because she had a cap on. She clearly looks like a woman. It also goes along with bringing the car back, because if he was actually missing, you wouldn't just ignore it and take his transport away. So they were definitely helping him to get away and hide. By stalling telling the cops he was missing also. So if she's dressed like Brian in that video then I think it shows for definite that they were involved. I think most people think this but law enforcement need to do something about it, if they wasted all that time and money looking for him based on their lies, when that time and money could have gone towards looking for other missing people., then they need to be charged and made to pay it all back.

If the LAUNDRIE ATTORNEY has to disclose his conversation with Brian Laundrie, I will have to take a front seat to that moment! on the arrest warrent, If the FBI or law enforcement knew on Sept. 1, 2021 that Brian Laundrie used Gabby's debit card, WHAT took so long to get a felony arrest order for that? We live in an electronic world, all they had to do is go online & see the illegal use. That would've been the time to pick him up.

If Brian was looking for advice as a potential suspect, while his parents were their for other legal advice then that is two different purposes. If they’re all there for the same reason, they’re all going down for the same reason. There is no protection if it is a multifaceted and intersectional conversation.

Hear me out . When the Laundries went to the reserve mid September to leave the note on Brians car, you KNOW they must have gotten out and looked around. My guess, is they found Brian dead which is why they came back the very next day on Wednesday and brought the mustang home. Maybe they removed the manner in which he killed himself ( rope, gun, etc) for insurance purposes ( who knows) and left him there thinking the FBI would certainly find him and when they never did, the Laundries cut an immunity deal and that's why within 30 minutes of the Laundries searching, boom, they magically found him.
