Oh my god this interview was amazing!!! Ashley pressed him on veryyyy important points that I haven’t seen on any news station. Plus the fact she squeezed in about him being a real estate lawyer not a criminal lawyer 😂😂😂
Ashleigh did the best interview. Her questions had him stuttering a few times making him actually "think" about how to answer without outing the family or himself. Good job Ashleigh 👏
He has to be careful to not mess up the lawyer/client privileges. I took the stuttering as he wants to tell the dumb lady the whole truth and put her in her place but he can't. BECAUSE ITS STILL AN OPEN INVESTIGATION!!
This lawyer is awful, the Laundries need a better lawyer. This guy pretty much confirmed Brian killed Gabby and the parents knew. He should not do any more interviews.
@@hrdkorebp Right. She shouldn’t ask anything about the family, the timeline, what they knew, what they talked about that wasn’t privileged…shame on her🙄
Ashleigh Banfield, this was the best interview yet of attorney Steven Bertolino. It's obvious that he is not a criminal defense attorney. You rattled his cage. He also spoke more than he should have if he was on the witness stand with his answers. A slip of the tongue that Brian Laundrie was grieving in a previous interview spoke volumes. He can't back track on that no matter how hard he tries. We may never know what the attorney and the Laundries know, but the Petito family doesn't have to go through a court case with a possible not guilty verdict. I love your show.
He's more of a defensive attorney than a defense attorney. Seemed to be trying to gaslight Ashleigh (and viewers) but no one is moved. He paints a worse and worse picture of himself and his clients.
Trying to cross check the lawyer won't help as all the calls and information given to FBI has been recorded for evidence. Trying to make the lawyer guilty won't help as he didn't commit the crime. He is a representative for the client.
@@thetreasuregarden.creates No his not. He did exactly what his job description entails. Unless you are a lawyer and could make a observation based on experience?
Usually I'm pretty sure interviews are paid, this guy does not deserve renumeration. What a schmuck! MS Ban field he had a tantrum and that speaks to his lack of ability in being a criminal lawyer. Cause he lost his cool.
Between Ashleigh, Marni and Brian Entin, this network has a rockstar group reporting. Tragic situation, but glad to have discovered Ashleigh again and to discover Marni and Brian.
@@6AlphaMikeCharlie9 clearly it wasn't used as a literal term. It means that they're bright stars at the network, driven, charismatic, dedicated and motivated. Is your next comment that they're not "stars" because that's not literal either.
After watching this, my questions are: Why was Brian "extremely upset" when he left his parents house for a "hike" on Sept 13 if Gabby’s remains were not found until 6 days later on Sept 19? Why were the parents worried for his wellbeing if he was just going for a hike? Why are they not cooperating with the FBI "regarding Gabby" as the lawyer stated now that Brian’s remains have been found?
The difference between stubborn and dedication is the outcome. The difference between exercising your right to remain silent and abetting crimes is the outcome.
Because he killed her , it was probably unintentional but he snapped and choked her death, when he realized what he’d done he knew it was over for him. He ran back and told his parents the entire story of what happened between them . Then he went off into the woods to kill himself because he couldn’t live with what he had done .
This guy has to be the most unprofessional lawyer I have ever seen. Clearly he can't handle the heat from these journalists. He gets so uptight about their questions! What did he expect from taking on a huge case like this? He definitely comes across as a snake.
He's being attacked every time he turns around and people are twisting his words and trying to discredit him. He's a family friend and he sees his friends being attacked. I'm sure it's much easier to detach when it's not someone you care bout.
I love Ashliegh! Lol she burnt him is this show. Just imagine if he was in court 😂🤣😂 he doesn’t know anything! I don’t know how he can even call himself a lawrrrrryerrrr! Lol. I can’t wait til he goes to court😂🤣. He should know exactly what he did and done. He can’t tell her what he did from Monday to Friday. 🤦🏻♂️😂. Now I feel bad that the Laundries thought he could help them. No I don’t ! They paid him! 🤣😂🤣.
This “lawyer” drives me crazy. He clearly doesn’t know what he is doing. He contradicts himself so much and can’t get a timeline straight to save his life or his client for that matter. Just a freaking shitshow. I’m so sad for Gabbys family because the guy was guilty and couldn’t face it and took the cowardly way out.
OK, so I watched until the very end. Ashleigh! He's not going to come back for another interview with you. You chewed him up and spit him out! And he knows it. Man...for an attorney (and I loved when you said Real Estate attorney) he needs to learn to control his facial expressions. Fantastic interview. As an aside, I would hate being one of your boys and trying to get away with something. LOL
Brian Laundrie had his 5th amendment right to remain silent for his knowledge in the death of Gabby Petito. We the public, John Q. Public as Mr. Bertolino refers to us, have the 1st amendment right for our freedom of speech to voice our disgust and sadness in how any decent human being could leave someone they love in the forest dead, with wild animals near by, while he returns home and goes camping with his family for 2 days. Allowing Gabby's parents to agonize in heartache and be ignored for answers over her whereabouts and well being. Respect our 1st amendment, Mr. Bertolino, as you demand our respect for Brian's 5th amendment!!!!!
You do not however have the right to defame anyone. That's part of first amendment jurisprudence. BL was never indicted in GP's case and died presumed innocent. You do not have a right to harass and attempt crack people to violate their constitutional rights or infiltrate their defense (as AB is attempting to do). You have no idea what happened to either GP or BL and probably don't know them. I, another member of the public, find the conduct of you and many posters abominable and vulgar. You're not part of any alleged case US DOJ had re. the credit card. Many couples share their cards/finances and DOJ appears to have indicted a dead man which is not lawful. Your first amendment right in any such case means nothing.
Just before number one comes before number 5 means nothing... You would be thrilled to have a lawyer have your back under allegations of crime The only people who need answers are the FBI and all sets of parents... The Coroners Court will sort it out
@@kelleylynch4490 That's the beauty of the 1st amendment Ms Lynch. I don't have to get a sh@t if you find me vulgar and abominable however, I RESPECT your right to say it to me.
Such a skilled interviewer, holds her own, very intelligent and articulate. Hats off to Ashleigh! I’m in the U.K. so I only found this channel because of this case but I’ll definitely continue watching.
Brian wasn't too distraught to go camping and enjoy smores with his family. If no one came looking for Gabby he would've just continued to live his life as if nothing had happened.
Don't forget Brian went for a little bike ride around his neighborhood with mommy. Why would you buy an iPhone activated and go kill yourself? It appears to me that he was going camping. I think he met upon foul play. My opinion s not facts. Have to say that for the crazy Brian family lovers out there.
I WANT ANSWERS TO BUT, 100 STEPS IN FRONT OF HIM ? REALLY . I CAN SEE SHES INTELLLIGENT , BUT ... AS I UNDERSTAND IT SHE DIDNT GET ANYTHING OUT OF HIM . SAYING SHE IS 100 STEPS AHEAD ? DOESNT MAKE YOU TO INTELLGENT .
You can tell he isn’t a criminal attorney from a mile away. These criminal attorneys have their t’s crossed and their i’s dotted bc they cannot get caught off guard. They are slick individuals with charming skills and have a ton of legal vocabulary that the average attorney would not understand. When she noticed she had him riled up, she sank her claws in and turned up the heat. If anything you would think she could be a prosecutor the way she projects herself and goes into an intelligent attack mode, yet keeps her composure. What a well done interview/character finding!
@@Michelle-cx5bd yours tho is incorrect. she was like a national enquired tabloid third rate repeater. And i like ashley usually. This tho was snide... Accusatory.. Argumentative .
This attorney needs an attorney. He absolutely is responsible for giving bad advise. If they were honest and upfront from the beginning it would never had ended like this. No one believes him, for good reason. He is a bullsh..er.
That sounds silly. Sounds like the ole saying, an innocent person doesn't need a lawyer. I don't get all the hate directed at the parents, we have no idea what he told his parents, in fact it's most likely he lied to them, keep in mind Gabby was lying to her parents about Brian abusing her, him lying to his parents about hurting her isn't that far fetched. Now after Gabby's mom started calling they surely knew something was wrong but what should they do... that''s the question they were asking themselves, they were probably scared to death being thrust into one of the worst situations a parent can find themselves in, their child has just killed somebody, nothing can prepare you for that so they were merely taking the advice of their long time trusted lawyer friend. Of course them not taking Gabby's moms calls and texts is absolutely horrible but what where they supposed to say.... There was nothing they could say that wouldn't hurt their son, people act like his parents liked doing this or found pleasure in it. I would guess it was one of the hardest things they've ever done in their life. Accepting the calls and not telling her mom anything about Gabby(which was the sole reason for her mom calling to start with), I think that would've been even worse than simply not taking the calls. I don't know if you have kids but wouldn't you do anything you could to help and protect your child. I know I would, I would never help my son cover up a murder nor would I assist in him fleeing and running from his problem BUT I would do anything in my power to protect him after the crime had occurred... I would not allow him to speak with police, I would get him an attorney ASAP, I would do anything and everything I am legally able to do, that's all his parents did(that we know of at this time, maybe something comes out later but it hasn't yet) His Parents wasn't helping him cover up anything or had knowledge of what actually happen that we know of, all they were doing was protecting their child in every possible legal route they could. I wouldn't help with my son evading the problem but I'm also not going to help put my son in prison for the rest of his life. Better read this quickly b/c for some reason my other posts similar to this one keep getting removed by the channel for some reason(I don't think anything I said is offensive or bullying in any way but whatever, I guess News Nation isn't a fan of differing opinions )
With that out the way, do you feel this was justice for Gabby? If not I'd like to hear why b/c I feel it is. Had Brian been taken alive he was never going to tell the truth about what happen and what he did to Gabby, and anything he did say you would never be able to believe it. He was a coward and a liar, all he had ever done in his life was run from problems, there's no way he would've accepted responsibility. He would've been given life most likely and him alive no matter if he was in a cage, him alive is not justice. Gabby doesn't get to be a live in this world, he shouldn't be either. I guess at first it would be nice to see him in cuffs being drug around from jail and courthouses, to see him crying on tv when he learned his fate but after that he would go off to prison and contrary to popular belief you can live a decent life in prison, sure you are confined behind walls and will never leave but you can create a whole new life in prison with friends and everything. After a few years it becomes your new normal...... He can live like that for 50 or 60 more years and that is what I'm not ok with. He's gone from this world and will never hurt anyone else again, he'll never smile again, never laugh again, never fall in love again, never feel another humans touch, he'll never dream again.... I believe this is justice, maybe not as comforting as seeing him suffer at first but long term it is and more so if he was ripped apart by an alligator.
@@bennywhite7062This wasn't justice for Gabby, the truth would've been justice, more than anything. Because knowing the truth, would be better than imagining the worst outcome. Wondering if she was suffering herself, or whatever.
His clients could be heros today but with the advise of this tool, they’re one of the most hated families in American history. Brian was going to face justice or off himself. There was no way out of it for Brian for the vicious murder he committed. This attorney gave the worst advise he could’ve possibly given. This is the result of no moral compass nor courage to do what they should’ve from the start. In the end, they all harbored and protected a cold blooded murderer.
@@sabbathsermonthetypist yes! But that would be for the accused. He should’ve recommended he turn himself in and then his defense could go to work but instead he made a horrible mistake by involving his parents and now their name is dirt! Good lessons to be learned here for all.

The more this man speaks the more he compromises himself and his and his clients credibility which continues to prove the public’s reasoning to doubt them from the very beginning.
So Brian went for a hike for days while Gabby was missing and that isn't concerning? WHY WOULDNT HE BE LOOKING FOR HER???? it's not routine to go hiking when your girl is missing. This lawyer and whole family should be jailed
I absolutely love this woman. Very articulate, intelligent, to the point, asks all the questions we want to know, tries to keep getting to the root of her questions when she suspects the interviewee knows more than they let on, and more. I'm probably less than half her age and I find her to be the sexiest woman on the planet.
Great interview by Banfield, she held her ground. Bertolino needs to chill on the combativeness in these interviews. Of course he's going to be asked questions about the case, that's the point. Strange guy.
I found ashleigh to be the one who was trying to “spin” things. Also-he was right when he said she promised to replay the clip and then decided to go back on her word. That would be annoying to say the least.
When did Brian get distraught?? In the camping trip with his parents, he seemed to be having a Great time??? Not looking distraught and I think he was distraught when he realized they were close to finding the body, maybe?
Right?! I have been saying this… Seems he was never “distraught” about Gabby.. but distraught for himself knowing the consequences were coming down the pipe. He never ever thought this case would get the national media attention that it did.. Brian was grieving for himself because he was a selfish entitled POS. He didn’t seem to be grieving when using Gabby’s debit card to clean out her account. Once the public outrage started he couldn’t handle it. It’s a shame he didn’t do everyone a favor and off himself months ago it would have saved a lot of heartbreak for a lot of people. The craziest thing about this to me is the fact his parents intended to protect him but by taking terrible advice from this 2bit lawyer in my opinion it led to his death. Had his parents insisted that Brian come clean and take responsibility for his actions he would still be alive! Better to visit your son in prison than have him dead, no? A good criminal attorney could have negotiated a deal back when they were still searching for Gabby.. Part of the reason this whole case got the media attention it did was because brian and his parents refused to say anything at all to Gabby’s parents. That was the nail in his coffin. Your constitutional rights protect you from incriminating yourself to the government but that has nothing to do with telling her family where you last saw her - If that part of the story has been different then I don’t think it would have blown up in the media like it did.
This is the 4th interview I have watched with this guy. Not only is he the angriest lawyer in history, he is also straight lying about the timeline. His body language and general angry demeanor are very telling. He is like this on every interview. I guess lying for a living is stressful and makes a man angry af. RIP Gabby.

I wonder why Bertillino never showed his face from the beginning of this case until the day he knows Brian is deceased. Suddenly we can’t get his face off of every news network. Kudos to Ashley and Brian Entin. 👏
Important question #(3): when Chris & Roberta supposedly went looking for Brian and they said they found his car…did they go looking for Brian in the same spot where Brian’s remains were found? Hard to believe they didn’t go into the park and look at the same spot. I suspect the parents knew the exact spot where he was camping/ hiding the entire time. Why wasn’t this exact area told you the police on day #1? Even if the area was flooded during search- the police had boats, airboats ways to search flooded areas.
Also do they have both sets of keys to the Mustang? Or is one set in his dry bag that was found? Because if they have both sets... then they definitely planted it.
Yes, if they were worried, they would of searched the area that they knew Brian frequented. They tried to hide the fact that the Mustang was out there to begin with. Once the police tagged the car they had to say Brian went there
Love love love how Banfield got him to even say I can't answer if he killed Gabby or if his mother knew because he would've said flat out NO if he didn't murder her!!
Exactly, that's a more truthful answer from Bertolino instead of lying and saying No! Brian didn't kill Gabby! as he said in other interviews so his answer: "I can't answer" denotes that he doesn't agree or disagree that Brian killed Gabby, but the FBI are looking for the answers by investigating, and they're the ones to determine if Brian killed her or not if there's enough evidence/witnesses to prove it. Just looking at what evidence there is along with police videos/witnesses seeing Gabby being abused in public and Brian's bad evil temper on display in a Mexican restaurant it's without a doubt likely that he killed his fiance Gabby Petito
"They were in their home every day, the days blended together".... he went missing TWO days after she was reported missing... there's no reason days should have been "blending"at that point
Right? What attorney doesn’t document exactly what is spoken about with whom and when? This guy is a mess. He should have stuck to texting because this interviewer swept the floor with him.
Right?! That part was so weird to me because I got my associates degree in Paralegal Studies and even they stressed the importance of accurate notes on all the interactions with the attorney's clients...and we aren't even the attorneys and our actions don't really count, but they made it clear we would be asked to do this for an attorney, (and I was) and if we didn't do a good job someone else would.
Exactly Hans Moleman!!! A professional would have everything written down so nothing is missed. So many excuses… yeah days can feel so close together but you still would have what’s happened typed out somewhere so you know where you’re at in a situation that they’ve been in
Uh no. He had to correct her about 12 times on facts that she kept getting wrong. He literally had to repeat himself over and over again because she wouldn't shut the fuck up and listen. I can guarantee you that the network executives are embarrassed.
does he usually handle civil cases, wonder if he has ever had to be an attorney for now a very high profile criminal case? You have to think when in trouble you call on a family friend with a law degree. She keeps asking what was answered. She also says things were said that are very different than what was said. The lawyer is a real estate lawyer, not a criminal lawyer. The supposed journalist should have listened instead of pushing for the answers to change by saying something that wasn't what was said.

Brian didn't suddenly just murder someone hes been a problem since childhood and because his parents didn't address his early behaviors they raised a troubled adult.
This lawyer is clearly not equipped to deal with a case of this magnitude. He just keeps tripping up on words, trying spin and failing abysmally. I can’t imagine for one minute, why the Laundrie’s would hire an attorney who was competent in criminal law. This is not his speciality.
@@yoag1108 I’m not American I have just been following the case. Bertolino is on here saying Brian usually went on hikes for days at a time and the parents weren’t worried at that moment. But last night he said Brian was upset and grieving when he left and the dad tried to stop him. He also said the Dad tried searching for him that same day he left and on the 14th and 15th.
He sounds soo stipid. If Brian was grieving why didnt he run WHY DIDNT HE TELL THIS TO THE POLICE IN MOAB IF HE FOUND HER DEAD FROM A FKN HIKE. WFTTT EXPLAIN THE SCRATCHES ON HIS FACE. THIS IS NUTS AND THIS LAWYER WOW
Bertolino said the Parents were grieving as is Bertolino himself. Brian was upset, but given Brian’s personality, he probably was upset a lot and this, it took a while for the parents to slowly come to suspicion.
The biggest thing that I'd like to know is, how did the parents know to pick the car up? If they didn't already know something why wouldn't the car had been left there for brian to drive back home? But instead they just pick it up and supposedly just leave their son with no ride home and no way to call for a ride if he supposedly left his phone at home. Something is fishy here.
When they went looking for him and saw the car it had a note in it saying it would be towed if not removed. So I guess thats why they took it home with them.
I am beginning to believe the whole story is BS. The original story about the car came to light because a photo of the car showed that it was in the driveway on the Wednesday after Brain supposedly left for the Reservation. When he actually left and when the Local Police was notified also comes into question because of the same lawyer. Everything that was made Public came from Mr. Bertolino. The flip-flopping with his storyline is very telling.
Cuz Brian was distraught and the parents said they couldn't stop him from leaving I'm sure they were worried . Parents could tell when something isn't right .I always thought Brian died the day he he left whith in that three days when he left his phone at home that's a sign. He wasn't returning

“Keep talking Bertillino.” “Keep talking.” Seems like you would have talked to the family you represent A LOT more than he has. And as a LAWYER use your vocabulary much better than he does. Know how to talk to the public as well as news agencies. Using “grieving” multiple times, as Bertillino claimed he did, is not a mistake. Bertillino know more. The Laundries know more. From the get go they have made themselves the CENTER of the spotlight. The reason why they are looked at as “dirty.” The reason behind all these conspiracy theories. Don’t condescend the public, the people that want to know why Gabby was murdered. Don’t torture an innocent family that want justice for their daughter who was strangled in a DV case, to which Brian was the only person on interest and romantically involved. Stole her money while he left Gabby suffering and dead. Do not make a mockery of the public that want #justiceforgabby. Do not shame the public for grieving because it is obvious you have and had not one ounce of decency within yourself. You have NOT ONE friggin clue and are a sham attorney and in the midst of this continue to stir the pot. You are disgusting Bertilino. Because of you and the Laundries the world has deemed the 3 possibly 4 of you as tainted liars that probably has the world against you. And let’s talk police…..they are covering your tracks, vice versa, because the police dropped the ball in Utah and in Wyoming as well as Florida, needs the Laundries as the Laundries need them……to cover each other. Bertillino, go to hell. Oh, and you had better lawyer up yourself!
So the parents KNEW Brian was upset and even said “I shouldn’t have let him walk out the door” but i’m sorry you don’t wait that long to tell police he’s missing!!! That’s INSANE. LIARS!!

Steve Bertelino needs to get his timeline of who he spoke to and when down clearly. The NPPD says they were shocked to hear Brian was missing on Friday, that the Laundrie family wasn't cooperative from the beginning. The Petito Schmidt family agrees.
The issue I have with the NPPD is the day before,,, the one NPPD rep said adamantly the NPPD 'know exactly where he is', however they did not check for him physically at the Laundrie home on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. It's not the lawyer's fault, its that the NPPD really dropped the ball on that.
I believe the NPPD is lying to try to cover up their incompetence. It's possible the FBI kept them out of the loop because they knew the NPPD was incompetent. Plus, I believe very little of what Josh Taylor says. He's way too full of himself.
Epic interview! Amazing job, Ashleigh! You all should raise her pay because this is hands down the best interview of this man out there and he may very well have left his clients open to being charged for their help of Brian. He should have taken his own advice and remained silent.

Wow - the complete lack of him keeping records of dates and phone calls, that were going to be crucial for any defence, is astounding. He would have been completely blindsided in a court case when the prosecution proved his records were wrong and brought up phone conversations with the FBI that he couldn't even remember or had records of, but the FBI did.
He said Sept 11th, that he became their attorney but he's lying. I am 110% sure that the Laundrie's told this attorney much sooner why they would need his services. That is b.s. that he didn't discuss the death of Gabby until the 11th. It's such b.s.

That's when they left the dry bag for Brian, filled with things he might need! Then when they went to the swamp the other day, they went to where they left the dry bag and discovered all the stuff had never been used, to their horror.
Kudos to Ashleigh for staying so cool and unwavering standing her ground in the face of his angry unprofessional demeanor... I really honestly cannot fathom how she did it.
Ashleigh was the unprofessional one and she got her ass kicked. If this was a boxing match, Banfield was the one down on the mat, bleeding and coughing up teeth.
That attorney double talks and really when caught of what he said straight out he gets angry like “why did I say that let me change that” Anyone out there needing an attorney I wouldn’t hire him 😂. Thankfully I don’t live a life like that family does. WOW
Something is fishy here. My feeling is that if this lawyer knows something that may compromise him (and, I think he may know), he wants to be detached and, thats why he is suddenly giving a lot of interviews.
I agree with you. He looks incredible anxious, stressed and he is very defensive. A professional Lawyer, who is not hiding anything, would be calm, confident, would remember every date. A liar lawyer, can't remember all his dates, how incredibly convenient.
I agree! Why is he speaking out publicly now. He's in on the cover up for sure!! He advised Brian's parents not to talk to her parents or call the police. Her son comes home without his fiance and it's crickets. This Lawyer has a short fuse kinda scary.
When the police arrived at that house and they refused to speak, everyone should have been placed under surveillance. Withholding information is criminal and immoral and more should have been done to keep an eye on Brian.
Knew we could count on you, Ashleigh! You, Brian, and the rest of your crew always get to the heart of the matter! Thank you all for what you are doing for this case 💕
Why did Brian drive Gabby’s van back without Gabby? The white elephant in the room. No man who loves his woman leaves her and returns back home using her debit card and driving her van. Huge clue right there. No reason for that than obvious. Guilt takes a certain path and Brian took it.
Banfield is a BADASS! Love how she caught him up with the "attorney/client privilege" in the family meeting. Bertolino is so arrogant he won't admit he's wrong.
11:19 Bert is asked, point blank, if Brian killed Gabby. His eyes start rapidly blinking. You can see the stress in his face. Seems like a clear tell that he’s lying. He starts to say, “What Brian told…” then stops himself.
Bertolino by professional ethics cannot “lie.” He can evade the question, because he has to as an attorney. And he did not say anything one way or another, so stop using that word. You assume way too much.
This was the most entertaining interview yet regarding this case! In one corner, we have Ashlrigh Banfield and in the other corner we have Steven Bertolino! Are you ready to rumble?!
Here's the thing, I don't forget, nor does any of my family or friends ever forget the days, and details of a catastrophic tragedy. And that's coming from a family of ADHDs who can't even remember wedding dates! ASHLEY IS RIGHT. A MOTHER WOULD NEVER EVER GET DATES WRONG
@@CMRBURE the majority of tragedy happens in seconds, not minutes hours and weeks. So knowing when thier son's 'moment' happened, would be: the second they realized he wasn't coming back. Everyone remembers where they were the exact second that world wars are announced, when 9/11 occured, when princess Di or Elvis died etc... All have fast moving days and nights in the many minutes, weeks and months ahead. I don't know any parent, young or very old, that cannot recount their very sad, tragic 'moment'. To expect the public, the lawyer refers too as "average John's", to believe both parents forgot the day their son left, and unexpectedly did not return is incredulous. CL was already fearful, so yes, it would hit them in the gut heart brain and throat like a wrecking ball.
@@CMRBURE I completely understand, I'm very sorry for your trauma. I have been on the side of the road praying for someone to stop, unable to see my son's phone number to call, not able to drive, not knowing how to get to my son 20 mins away, in a house I owned and used to live in, not knowing how I drove to the spot I was in, but I remember exactly where I was when I was told about his families tragic event. I remember every word, and the ice cream I was eating, how I got home and who took me to the hospital. We all do.
I get dates wrong all the time, I always forget my sons birth year and always confuse one of my daughters birth date I always think 26 when it’s 24( I always remember these dates eventually damn adhd) I’m not going against the grain with you on this because this is obviously apples and oranges. A part of me agrees with you considering the serious nature of the situation however with so much pressure and attention and people outside their house all day plus being followed every where you go, so it can also be said that with so much going on all that mental physical and emotional exhaustion maybe she did get confused on the date. Aside from that, I hate to admit this as a human being but I have absolutely no sympathy for them had they chosen to have a heart and at least communicate with her family even if they say they don’t anything but at least as a parent have the heart to at least give them some type of comfort by giving them communication and not shut them out so In reality they brought all the extra stress on themselves by being cruel and heartless beings.
@@johannarollery9694 they sure are, I just do not believe they both got the day wrong, one yes, but then they would have discussed it and tracked back...
Not necessarily. My sister died of cancer and I remember the date and year she died because I made myself remember, just as I remember the date and year she got married, and her birthday. But the day and time I have no idea. I can’t even remember how long it took for her to die. I just remember how it happened and how horrible it was, everything else is a blur.

@@thetreasuregarden.creates well said!😁
Trying to cross check the lawyer won't help as all the calls and information given to FBI has been recorded for evidence. Trying to make the lawyer guilty won't help as he didn't commit the crime. He is a representative for the client.

Same. Id like to think that someone who is innocent would hold out hope that their loved one would be found alive before running off the way he did.
That’s a big fat question.

WELL SAID! Thank you!!!
100%
You do not however have the right to defame anyone. That's part of first amendment jurisprudence. BL was never indicted in GP's case and died presumed innocent. You do not have a right to harass and attempt crack people to violate their constitutional rights or infiltrate their defense (as AB is attempting to do). You have no idea what happened to either GP or BL and probably don't know them. I, another member of the public, find the conduct of you and many posters abominable and vulgar. Oh yes!

Seems like he became “distraught” when Gabby’s family reported her missing.
Probably when his social media got slammed with hateful comments
When he realized he was busted.

@William Tell I agree shes definitely not beautiful, her knowledge is more important than her looks, she looks old too, lol.
Actually he did say 'No, to my knowledge '
@Robert Hollister Not sure what you heard...but I heard him say ’No’ to that question. Lawyer = Liar

@@julief634 of course all the Laundries were / are grieving. I am sure even Brian regretted his (alledged ) actions.

So many excuses… yeah days can feel so close together but you still would have what’s happened typed out somewhere so you know where you’re at in a situation that they’ve been in
Bertolino obviously can’t argue in a courtroom, Banfield was fantastic! This clip will be shown in journalism classes!
He is to emotionally envolved with the family and the emotions can effect your judgment an he should of realized this was over his head. He did not an it worked in Gabbys favor. He is SO out of his depth! Great probing questions by Ashley! 👍🏼
I don’t know the ins and outs of what’s admissible in their courts but I imagine they could bring him in for questioning if he keeps going. He’d be better off taking the advice he’s given to his clients and remain silent. Something tells me he wants a reputation but I don’t think the reputation he’s getting what he was hoping for. That said, any publicity is good publicity. I really think he should stick to the laws he knows and is competent in … although, even that remains to be seen.

His anger is that he knows something and he will not talk about it.

Bertolino is on here saying Brian usually went on hikes for days at a time and the parents weren’t worried at that moment. But last night he said Brian was upset and grieving when he left and the dad tried to stop him. He also said the Dad tried searching for him that same day he left and on the 14th and 15th.

@@MrsPete-mq4tv lol good one!
@@Jessica-to8um Oh I agree 100%. They're hella shady!
His parents knew where he likes to go hiking at…
I am beginning to believe the whole story is BS.
Exactly
She is good this woman, Banfield. Sharp. Professionalism at its best.
The lawyer slipped , the laundries were grieving the moment brian left for a walk , they knew ... they were not distraught.
Cuz Brian was distraught and the parents said they couldn't stop him from leaving I'm sure they were worried . Parents could tell when something isn't right .I always thought Brian died the day he he left whith in that three days when he left his phone at home that's a sign. He wasn't returning

“Keep talking Bertillino.” “Keep talking.”
Seems like you would have talked to the family you represent A LOT more than he has.

Maybe you are right ✅
As much as I cant stand Baldolino, Josh Taylor is the worst. He likely doesnt even know what hes talking about. Imo
