I ask that a quick little prayer at 12:00pm mountain standard time be said because prayer in mass groups are usually granted. Let’s all try this and turn the tide! What really needs to happen in that small Alabama town is, investigators should drive thru with hidden cameras to prove they weren't breaking any laws, and cameras to record interactions if they get pulled over. Also to prove if they get pulled over outside the town's jurisdiction. There is another small, unincorporated town in Alabama where the entire police force was shut down due to overreach and mismanagement. Unfortunately for the citizens, the town is now overrun with criminals. I'm sure they wish for a legit police force, but not like the one before.

This was done very unfairly, not just my opinion, to me by a Senior Support Group in a small Colorado Mountain town. I now live in the gutter and I don't have one person to help me. I hear "oh, that's terrible". But that is all I hear. I am at the end of my rope, ready to end my miserable existence. I worked my entire life paid all my bills alone, and taxes, raised two son's, volunteered for everythingq and here I am. So..... Tell people not to count on ANYBODY when they get old. I never imagined this would happen to me but, here I am. People should consider the fact that most of them will be old someday too. Good luck to you all. Great show.

In U.S. as well. I once got stopped by a police officer I never found out why. He hit my car with his flashlight and yelled, where do you think you are going? He never asked for proof of insurance or car registration, or for my drivers license. He got back in his car and I got out of my car. I wanted his name and badge number. He peeled off. I drove home and called police. They came to my house and tried to convice me that even though he was dressed like a cop and had a cop car I was not stopped by a cop. He was a volunteer fire fighter who had access to the above clothing and car. They told me not to ever stop under those circumstances and just drive away as quickly as possible. They said there were no cops on patrol where this happened in Littleton Co. And because this cop did not ask for drivers license and proof of insurance and car registration he obviously was not one of theirs. And the dent in my car from flashlight hitting car, noting came off that. This was in the late 1990s.

when i was a child in the 50's-60's in alabama, there were speed traps all along the way between jefferson county and the gulf coast where we vacationed, and there were even towns where police or deputies sometimes had long lines of cars pulled over to check tail lights, drivers' licenses, and probably just about anything else you could think of about the motorist and the car. my father was never the nicest or most patient person at the best of times, and whenever we got stopped in one of those lines or traps it would make a gruesome beginning to a horrific vacation. over the years those traps and such have decreased greatly, but obviously that stuff hasn't stopped.

I understand what you are talking about. It is very difficult to care for an aging parent! I am lucky to have my mom who will be 91 at the end of April. I do everything I can to help her even putting her needs over my own. You talked about stepchildren in biological children but my question is what about adopted children? I fall into that category. I am also an only child. What makes it even more difficult is I have a spinal cord injury in my neck so it limits the things I'm able to do. It's very frustrating! The most frustrating is I can't drive because I can't turn my neck or wear seat belt. America definitely needs to have support help for aging parents to help the child or children that are responsible for them. Again I am very lucky to have my mother she is a sound mind and through my help and a couple of family friends we got her through a heart attack without putting her in a nursing facility.

From a child who’s had multiple step parents, the bio children showed up right before the parents died to make sure they were going to get their money. And they took care of them and was really nice to them so they could be in the will. And also I’ve never been in any wills and never been given the same kind of financial help not even close to the bio kids because I’m not a blood relative. I would have loved to help when they were sick, and I longed for a real parent relationship, but the bio kids just swooped in and shut me out. So really the stepparents are the ones that aren’t treating the stepchildren like their real children.

Well, when my Father needed help.. it took his first 4 children that were mistreated, never supported, not welcome by his second wife, to go in and take care of Dad. The other children he had with his 2nd wife knew nothing about taking care of a sick person. And they didn't want to. None of us 4 children expected a penny. Because of the remarks made over the years. We were cheated anyway. Dad wanted to die at home. His wife didn't want Hospice, bed, or us there.Too bad. Dad shaved every day of his life. We continue to shave him, even tho his wife hid his razors. Such nonsense. As for me, why would I expect any inheritance from a man that never bought me a coat, shoes, cared if I ate, sick.Abused me physically as a child. I ask God, Let there be Peace between me and my Father. I will do what is Right. That was my and my brother and sisters inheritance. His other children he gave everything to, underground pool, pay for College, nice clothes, nice house, always a new car or truck, they had great Christmas, tended to their kids, never a grandfather to other 4 children. His loss. The hated him, the little Church goers. I was Blessed with a wonderful step Dad, my Pop. Showed his Love. Was a wonderful grandpa too! All kids in family loved him !!!

If my child was wrongfully taken from me, I want everyone, ESPECIALLY those on the perpetrator's side to know the EXACT circumstances of the way my child was brutally murdered, dumped without grace into the wilderness, covered up by the murderer and his family, and him taking the coward's way out. I would tell everyone the exact colors of my child's corpse's skin as her flesh rotted away for weeks. I would tell them how many teeth have now been exposed due to the elements. I would tell them to picture the exact moment the life left her eyes as he beat and strangled her.
And then I would ask...why the hell didn't Laundrie's parents SAY ANYTHING the minute he arrived back with HER van, WITHOUT HER????? Why did they completely ignore Gabby's family's attempts to contact them?? Maybe they would have found her body faster and maybe the Laundries wouldn't have even lost their son, too. I'm pro police. But this is ridiculous 😒 🙄 6 miles of road you may need 1 patrole car. Crap why don't they just have neighborhood watch. Sounds like the mayor needs to go to start out the process of cleaning this mess up. I live in a small town without much crime at all and our police are known to the county, usually raised within this county. So, I know being a cop in a 6 mile range should be more or less no job. This needs investigated. Lol, this is one time I will say they need to defund their police and also vote another mayor in.

Very interesting to see how the FBI handles these things. Thanks for the report. It's a shame that Brian was never charged with murder, then his parents would have consequences for hiding him for those first couple of weeks. But they still withheld information when he was wanted for using Gabby's debit card... They just get off scott-free? I do hope the FBI releases the details to the public as we have been invested since the beginning. Also because we want to know how the FBI worked the case all along. Thanks Ashleigh and Brian 💛

I'm starting to believe Brian killed the ladies in Moab and flew back to Florida to ditch the gun (his dad said he had 10 but he gave the fbi 9 and said 1 was missing) then as Gabby and him kept traveling their arguments continued to escalate and maybe as the news of the ladies missing went out Gabby was gonna turn him in and he lost his shit and strangled her to keep her quiet...that's why his parents ignored Gabbys parents long before Brian even got home cause they knew he was already in trouble Maybe I'm way off but the timeline fits 💔

My question is: Why did the police take Gabby to jail instead of letting her drive her own van? Why did they let Brian go free with Gabby's van? Are the police in on it? The Laundries won't say anything if it's much worse than we imagined. How does anyone know if Brian and Gabby ever got to see each other the next day? Maybe that's why Brian drove Gabby's van back home. He probably searched for her and was told by the police she told them she never wanted to see Bryan again so he drove home waiting for her to call. Who knows. Cops are crooked in more places than you could imagine.
