First Friday the 13th I ever watched ! I remember in the 80's my mother would take us out to rent a movie every Friday night and we'd pass the horror section in the video store and i'd always be curious about these Friday the 13th VHS covers with masks on them. Then one night I asked my mom let's rent this one it looks cool ! Man was I in for treat ! My sister and I had to sleep with my mom to get that Jason guy out of our heads ! I thought I saw Jason everywhere ! Good memories ! :)
Same here. That was the first one I saw and seeing Jason unmasked in the final scene scared the shit outta me! Then the first Friday the 13th got me with that jump scare at the end!
Corey Feldman did a great job as Tommy Jarvis and really enjoyed his experience in being part of the Friday the 13th Franchise. I for one would like to see Corey reprise his role as Tommy Jarvis in a new film. It"s nice to see someone from the 80"s give the Friday the 13th movies praise and discussing their enjoyment in making the film. Corey Feldman still has great memories of the movie that really made him a household name.
The Final Chapter was the very first horror film I ever saw and also the first movie I saw in a theater. I was born in 81 and my mom was VERY hesitant on taking me but I basically threw a mild tamtrum and she finally gave in, but warned me "Imma take you this time and if you have any nightmares, I will never take you to see another scary movie again, and I mean it!" Long story short, I had the time of my life and was immediately hooked. My mom couldn't believe it but it made her happy at the same time because she knew she could bring me along with her to see future horror films since my dad was anti- horror and wouldn't go with her. The Friday's that followed became a tradition for the both of us. We have seen every Friday The 13th together since except for Jason X. I went but she refused to go because she was so disappointed that they put Jason in space and considered it a slap in the face to the entire series and after seeing it myself, I agreed with her sentiments towards the film. Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter started an unforgettable and memorable tradition for a mother and son who both love horror films with an undying passion. Personally, I feel its the best in the series and as much as I love Kane Hodder and CJ Graham's portrayal of Jason, Ted White was an absolute beast and did such an amazing job bringing Jason to life. The only thing that I have kept a secret all these years since my mom first took me to see this film is that Sam's death and Rob screaming "he's killing me" made me feel some type of way and I legit felt bad for them...and I never said a word about to anyone, until now. I know im rambling on like a drunk but this film just brings out all sorts of good feelings and emotions and the nostalgia factor hits home with myself and my mom's tradition. Thank you so much to the entire cast and crew for providing us all with this rare gem. P.s. I never had any nightmares.
Love 2, 3 and 4. The Final Chapter shows Jason at his most visually aggressive and terrifying. He wreaks absolute havoc during the climax with Trish and Tommy.
Corey Feldman is quite possibly one of my favorite actors from the 80s. I loved him in this movie, plus he was awesome in both Stand By Me and The Lost Boys.
Love the cast in this movie, of all the Jason’s this was probably the most professional production, well produced and directed, creative….gem of a cast. Girls were cute as hell. All these 80s teen icons, i wish i was 17 in this summer but i was only 3. Imagine seeing this all summer in 84. Wish i could have lived as a teen in this era.
NO way man the orginal Friday is a horror masterpiece Betsy Palmer did such a great job as the killer. Remake's are for people who can't create their own vision so they have to steal someone else's and call it their own same way with the Nightmare remake and the Halloween they are classics and didn't need any remakes
This is my favorite one I honestly think it was the best one they ever made yes no Kane Hodder I get it but Ted White was fantastic in my opinion this was also the scariest one of them all it was absolutely perfect in every way
Andres Flores you should check out Adam Greene's Hatchet 1-3. Kane Hodder plays Victor Crowley the dead killer, scariest looking killer. basis is similiar to Friday the 13th.
Have to say, I truly loved the characters in this one, they each had different personalities. Many of them also died finding love, or because they were in love. Crispin Glover, died knowing he wasn't a "dead ****," Sam's boyfriend decides that he can't cheat on her, and goes out looking for her, Sara find's love with Doug, etc. Also, the character of Tommy was interesting as well. Like Jason, he was probably an outcast.
Wait, So Cory Feldman is in this and has a dog named Gordon... Cory Feldman plays Teddy in Stand by Me... and the names are Teddy, Chris, Vern and GORDON/GORDY. Coincidence? I think not.
yeah came to say this. i feel like this says so much about Corey. Lost Boys is a fun genre flick and Stand by me a well made coming of age movie, but none of the 3 are artsy movies. and of course it's not as though a movie being "artsy" is somehow an automatic positive. some of the worst movies ever made are artsy pieces of . . . while some of the most entertaining films are pure popcorn fun. Just a bizarre statement.
The chick who played Annie the hitchhiker in the first one ( Robbie Morgan) was amazingly beautiful. I fell in love with her as a kid watching it, and it broke my heart to see Mrs.Voorhees kill her. Damn you, Pamela!!
Beck was the BEST heroine of the series, no doubt about that, but Pam from part 5 and all 3 females (Chris, Debbie & Vera) from part 3 were the hottest, although Beck was sexy as hell...
@entertainmentguy1984 These documentaries are from the Friday the 13th - From Crystal Lake to Manhattan Ultimate Edition DVD Collection, the killer extras disc
This one was actually one of the best in my opinion but part 7 was my favorite as a kid that was about the time the game come out and fangoria magazine was red hot that little 8-bit Nintendo game was so cool it would literally scare the s*** out of you when Jason suddenly appeared out of nowhere
Yeah I agree with you. Everybody who were involved in the franchise all said the same thing: "This is the last one, were not doing anymore. This is the movie to show the death of Jason Voorhees" but problem was Paramount wanted to make money and what happened next? They ended up making more!!!
Im 57, and thevtwo actors that made an impression on me as a youngster were Corey Feldman and Anthony Michael Hall. So. This retrospective was a thrill for me
I dont believe that..they all say (the premier was like a rock concert)..dude i seen Jurassic park (1993),Friday(1995)all kinda event movies on opening night,no-one ever stood up at the end and cheered.
Well like they say, if it aint broken don't fix it. If their going to make another one, they need to do it RIGHT. The remake was such a huge disappoinment!
this movie wasnt all about drugs and sex. it isnt garbage ok it was scary, and great. this was not for teenagers it was for all ages to scare the crap out of you. so ur accusations on this movie are invaild.
Originally Joseph Zito was going to come back and direct part 5... Frank Mancuso Jr wanted him back... Zito also got a script together for New Beginning... But MPAA the two guys that were on the board had more power than Frank Mancuso Jr... Overuled the decision to bring Zito back... Saying Zito's script for New Beginning the continuity does not add up with Final Chapter... Zito was not gonna bring back the Jarvis family! And he was going to bring jason back! In new beginning... We Die Hard Friday the 13th fans we would have loved to have seen that! Thoe i like new beginning... The MPAA head of directors was confused by Joseph Zito script... He did not explain how Jason came back to life in the new beginning... After being done in by Tommy Jarvis in Final Chapter... Zito was going to start the new beginning... With bringing Jason back without explaining how he came back to life! Giving Jason a new set of teenage victims to go after... Zito was removed as a prospect to direct part 5 for those following issues... Zito talks a little about this in the documentary 30 years of Jason...
chopperbubba A new beginning was especially designed to shut the critics up! Critics had said that the first 4 installments of Friday the 13th was predictable and just a body count!! At the end they found out that Jason is a copycat killer! Nobody saw it coming! New Beginning may not sit well with a lot of the fans! But it shut the critics up!
Well look at it this way: some of us watch Friday the 13th movies for the 2/5 of the film where Jason starts killing people, and the final sequence in part IV is awesome. Part IV is worth because of that. Besides it's a slasher, not a biography or a documentary, don't be that strict with it.
i call bullshit on the end part where the director is saying everyone in the theater was cheering and dancing.. ya right. He is just trying to get himself over as a great director LOL
First Friday the 13th I ever watched ! I had dreams about Jason every other night
Same man at least every week i dreamed about Jason and its very cool.Except the one who's wearing a winter suit lmfao
Same here. That was the first one I saw and seeing Jason unmasked in the final scene scared the shit outta me! Then the first Friday the 13th got me with that jump scare at the end!
My exact story!! Cover art and the whole vhs/beta film renting experience is missed. Friday night was often pizza night too!!
@@herbjergens6350 We lived in the coolest times :) Kudos !

He’s killing me! He’s killing me! Oh my god, he’s killing me!
That's what she said
I absolutely loved Corey Feldman’s enthusiasm in participating in Part 4, nothing but respect for me
so glad to see Corey Feldman acknowledge this movie as part of his history and legacy, if only Kevin Bacon would do the same for part one...
Think it's because Kevin's character got killed off and he could be a lil sore about it lol
He shows up to conventions but heard hes a huge mcdouchenozzle . Its sad. He is such an iconic character in the history of horror!
@Stephen Lindsay the OP gives us a view into a far more innocent time, when people discussed Kevin bacon and friday the 13th

Love 2, 3 and 4. The Final Chapter shows Jason at his most visually aggressive and terrifying. He wreaks absolute havoc during the climax with Trish and Tommy.
I didn't know Jon Lovitz directed The Final Chapter!!!
Lol
Ernie Capadino: Oooh, That one hurt.
Lmao
He wouldn't have gotten the part because he was too small to handle a machete? Well he sure as hell showed them.
great entry in the series, one of my faves
Ted white is brutal
hands down, this and part 2 are the scariest of the sequels, in my opinion
Corey looks like a normal human being in this interview.
Yo for real..what happened to him?
The twins casting came from the Double Mint gum commercials. Hot girls.
Corey Feldman is quite possibly one of my favorite actors from the 80s. I loved him in this movie, plus he was awesome in both Stand By Me and The Lost Boys.
4 is arguably the best in the entire series.

Part 4 was pure brilliance🔥.
Blood and guts. That's what we're all about. THE GORE THE MERRIER!

Why isn't there any more movies like this anymore?
Because this generation is getting dumber
Andres Flores because these movies sucked
Andres Flores you should check out Adam Greene's Hatchet 1-3. Kane Hodder plays Victor Crowley the dead killer, scariest looking killer. basis is similiar to Friday the 13th.
cause the slasher genre died out caause they are generic
SuperEvilnine * Ikr, today's horror movies are all about ghosts and stupid shit like that
Have to say, I truly loved the characters in this one, they each had different personalities. Many of them also died finding love, or because they were in love. Some of my favorite movies, Friday 13th, Goonies, Lost Boys and Stand by Me... and Corey is in all of them... Love Corey, he is awesome
Why is Corey’s voice so hot? 🔥
Peter Barton, hunk / babe in shower. LOL The prettiest boy indeed. Had a huge crush.
I Love Cory and I Miss the Other Cory also. 😢💜
Wait,
So Cory Feldman is in this and has a dog named Gordon...
Cory Feldman plays Teddy in Stand by Me... and the names are Teddy, Chris, Vern and GORDON/GORDY.
Coincidence? I think not.
Yeah, "Dream a Little Dream" is an "artsy movie." LOL
***** lol I love your work max your movies my bad you are a nobody ;)
yeah came to say this. i feel like this says so much about Corey. Just a bizarre statement.
He forgot to mention he was in the goonies, such a huge ego Corey feldman has that thinks he is an oscar worthy actor .
Thanks for posting for some reason this feature on my DVD never played, glitch or something.
I love ur channel i subbed
thank u someone who finally agrees with me thank u.
scariest Jason, hands down...
Trish is so hot
thanks for the comment i appreciate it. ill check out your channel soon as well have a great day.
Friday the 13th part 4 was my first one 2 rent out many yrs ago !
Corey Feldman was fun to watch back in the 80s!
Out of all the heroines, Kimberly Beck was the hottest, in part IV.
wrong, Pam (I'd say) from Part V
WalkingFox she was very fine 💯
The chick who played Annie the hitchhiker in the first one ( Robbie Morgan) was amazingly beautiful. I fell in love with her as a kid watching it, and it broke my heart to see Mrs.Voorhees kill her. Damn you, Pamela!!
Beck was the BEST heroine of the series, no doubt about that, but Pam from part 5 and all 3 females (Chris, Debbie & Vera) from part 3 were the hottest, although Beck was sexy as hell...
I thought the chick from Part III was the hottest.
love the scene around 7:17, its like "Oh your good baby, but you aint that good"lol
you are not alone i didnt get achance to see this at the theater but i saw it some years later
My favorite one !!!! 🎥 ... and Jason in Manhattan.
4 is a definite great one in the series. It maybe really should've been The Final Chapter. However, 8???? What are you smoking???
Ted White was a beast as Jason Voorhees🩸🪓in part 4.
Part 4 is everyone's favorite....
John Michael not everyone
John Michael I like part 7
I'll take Parts 2 and 3 over it every day of the week.
hailtheblackdragons it used to be the bottom 6 but now it’s my number 4
Nope part 3 is the best.Richard Brooker is the scariest Jason
This was definately Corey's breakout movie.
And oddly my favorite roll of his.
@entertainmentguy1984
These documentaries are from the Friday the 13th - From Crystal Lake to Manhattan Ultimate Edition DVD Collection, the killer extras disc
yes it is and also there is a charles bronson movie called murphys law a part was filmed there as well.
Great Movie
Probably the best of the sequels. This one had it all, great kills, gore, hot girls taking there clothes off, and great music.
Best one imo.
one of the best ones........to me was scary back then....
Corey!! My hero!!
This one was actually one of the best in my opinion but part 7 was my favorite as a kid that was about the time the game come out and fangoria magazine was red hot that little 8-bit Nintendo game was so cool it would literally scare the s*** out of you when Jason suddenly appeared out of nowhere
They should have ended it with this one.
Money, money, money, money...money.
bill hayes Part 6 was alright.
Shut up
Yeah I agree with you. Everybody who were involved in the franchise all said the same thing: "This is the last one, were not doing anymore. This is the movie to show the death of Jason Voorhees" but problem was Paramount wanted to make money and what happened next? They ended up making more!!!
They should've ended it with part 6.
i have to agree with you man.u make a good point
stinky? don't you mean bad?
and personally, this is probably my favorite Friday film.
Im 57, and thevtwo actors that made an impression on me as a youngster were Corey Feldman and Anthony Michael Hall. So. This retrospective was a thrill for me
The twins look exactly like Tiffany Cox from the game haha! :p
I dont believe that..they all say (the premier was like a rock concert)..dude i seen Jurassic park (1993),Friday(1995)all kinda event movies on opening night,no-one ever stood up at the end and cheered.

part 4 was good but my faves were 3,4,6, and 7 , 2 was good but it seem to go so fast it was over before you knew it!
Part 3 is the best.Richard Brooker is the scariest Jason.
RIP Ted White
🫡😑🙏🏻👼🏻😢😪
"Not Now Dead Fuck"....."That's what I wanted to talk to you about"...Classic.
he metions all his wonderful films sdsla
What is the name of the song from Friday the 13th
Well like they say, if it aint broken don't fix it. If their going to make another one, they need to do it RIGHT. The remake was such a huge disappoinment!
rare to see cory in a friday documentry
somebody help me.
is Pumpkinhead filmed in the same house as this movie?
this movie wasnt all about drugs and sex. it isnt garbage ok it was scary, and great. this was not for teenagers it was for all ages to scare the crap out of you. so ur accusations on this movie are invaild.
Part VI is my favorite.
It was during the production of this movie when Cory Feldman was introduced to an even more powerful cocaine only available to child stars.

chopperbubba Yeah Danny steinman... Well would you have like to seen Zito comeback for New Beginning?
chopperbubba A new beginning was especially designed to shut the critics up! Critics had said that the first 4 installments of Friday the 13th was predictable and just a body count!! chopperbubba Yep Old Roy Burns... And let's not forget about Victor J Fadden... Chopping up joey with an axe over candy bar😬
after seeing jasons tombstone that would be enough for me to turn this vehicle around
Good
Corey is such a boss!
RIP Corey Haim.
Trish is my favorite survivor
Before Corey did a 180 having a midlife crisis & switching up his hole style and image!
Back when he was more calm & not so hectic!
this movie had a half dozen soap stars and yand r alums
more first 3 but ye, I like it for what its worth
there also the best
Corey just said he was 2 and a half feet tall?
And got picked up to 7
Does he understand measurements?
Tommy Jarvis grew up fast between movie 4 and 5 and played by 3 different actors
There's several years between part 4 and 5.
i hope that too...
don't think so......was one of the best ones
definitely
is. it. will. remake. I. am. a. big. fan. of. all. Friday. the. 13 all. 12 films. TV. series
The twins with the pink shirts or in Friday the 13th the game
Any one know the background theme at 7:00
Well look at it this way: some of us watch Friday the 13th movies for the 2/5 of the film where Jason starts killing people, and the final sequence in part IV is awesome. Part IV is worth because of that. Besides it's a slasher, not a biography or a documentary, don't be that strict with it.
I wonder why they didn't call back Richard Brooker to play Jason again , he was great in part 3
Feldman is such a troll, but he looks a lot like Charlie Sheen in this. Pretty creepy.
Corey did go through a few years where he was a cokehead. He's been sober for at least the past 10 years or so that I know of.
I think he means is it really Jason or another character dressed as Jason (like his Mum in Part One). At least I HOPE that's what he meant!!
WTF!! Why is this documentary not on the "deluxe edition" dvd???
Try starting with 8 and then on. I'd be happy if they didn't make another F13th, as big of a fan i am.
@ALEX200029 se dice martes 13 en argentina? pero si la pelicula se llame viernes 13, te quivocastes amigo.
but the actual story ark is on the first 3, just 2 scenes dont realy count
Nobody's going to talk about Joseph's behaviour towards the cast?
What was his behavior towards the cast like?
@@hellblazer4359 He was a huge jerk to them.
They didn't get paid.Thats why the name of Ted White didn't appear on the cast of characters at the end.
@Turn me on deadman it was written in the collector magazine of Freddy vs Jason.
Poor Feldman, he'll never make it back to the top.
i call bullshit on the end part where the director is saying everyone in the theater was cheering and dancing.. ya right. He is just trying to get himself over as a great director LOL
