Beautifully explained and good presentation. I'll be trying it next weekend. Please tell me what will happen if I don't use any additional micronutrients? Can I skip them or not?
Plants usually get calcium from the soil, therefore in order replicate soil planting, you have to add calcium nitrate in the hydroponic solution. I’m addition to that, magnesium and sulfur are important for plant growth too.
Excellent explanation and great job for plants. Do appreciate it ❤😊❤!
Does this particular solution work for cauliflower and broccoli?
That was indeed a very good one.
The question is how long does it work i.e for how long will it provide nutrition and the number of plants will get nutrition from this gallon???
Thanks. There is no certain number of plants and exact time that plants can feed with 1 gallon of this nutrients it all depends on the container size and plants.
Can i take any npk or do i have pick one with equal ratio like npk 19 19?
Are these chemicals harmful for longterm health?
I'd like to know also. Did you find the answer elsewhere? Please share if you found anything.
@Danny Tillotson to you an @Tzurushi no none of these are dangerous however that being said keep them away from kids just because it's likely not good for them not that it can kill them but sometimes tells me the npk stuff is just got a wicked bad taste and just friendly reminder magnesium sulfate you can use Epsom salt exact proportions don't really matter, also npk stands for nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium this one I recommend the most to keep away from kids as any one of the last 2 can be quiet dangerous if ingested touch is fine taste VERY BAD and the calcium isn't exactly necessary but as far as dangerous is concerned it should be safe but I personally just don't add any since your local water supply should be more then enough just look up your districts water report
Not a medical professional, but Magnesium Sulphate is the safest ingredient up there. It's bath salts, some people ingest as much as 30 grams per day, so I don't imagine that 2g in a gallon of water to feed your plants would be harmful to you.
If you don't want to use calcium nitrate, which is an irritant, you can substitute it by mixing crushed eggshells with vinegar or lemon juice.
As for the plant fertilizer, that's probably the main thing you should avoid ingesting, even then, it's dilluted enough to the point where I wouldn't worry much.
@@ah.1190 That's what I just said or in this case meant no offense just saying paraphrasing is difficult
@@brucepraska7781if your worried about that just look what’s in store bought
Very nicely explained! Thank you. Can you inform how much TDS will be in 1 gallon after adding the nutrients?
Hi, I don’t check the TDS of my solution even the ph level of it. But I’m still growing all my plants well.
Thank you.
Can you pls make a video of 'how to use this Solution'?
I know this video is from awhile ago, i hope you can see this comment. When feeding plants in leca with this nutrient solution do we need to top up more water or can it be used as is? Also how often to feed leca plants with this?
Hi, I am using the nutrients all the time whenever I am watering them. Then 2x a month flushing of running water.

hello po! i am also here in Dubai! i went to garden center today and i did not find any hydroponic nutrients over there. is it possible for you to sell me some of this because i dont need a lot. im also starting with 3 pots
So you are not using AB mix ? Just mix all part ?
What is the NPK values that you used in the mix? We need to know so people don't burn their plants, etc... Thank you.
20-20-20
@@thegreenearth WOW, pretty rich and very hard to find locally. Not sure why that ratio is so hard to find these days. A couple of decades ago 20-20-20 was VERY easy to find.
@@generalawareness101 It's all about the money money money. They'd rather sell you less for more.
How’s about epsom salt? Can we used it?
yes you can
@@thegreenearth
Thank you so much 😊!
Epsom salts is magnesium sulphate, which is what he added.
What is the reason, that you mix the differentieret salts in to jars instead of putting it all in one jar?
Thanks
Is to avoid precipitation which can occur at higher concentration.
Very informative and interesting video
How to dilute once ready? Or do you use that undiluted?
It is ready to use in a gallon of water.
What about macronutrients please? Many thanks
I'm guessing the macro & micro nutrients are in the NPK bag.
Can i use the formula for herbs?
yes you can
Where are the all important trace minerals?
Thanks for sharing your practical knowledge of
Can I use that in algae sir?
Can this be used for fruitbearing?
yes
For LECA do you dilute it with more water?
It is recommended to soak it in the water for at least 24hrs before use
@@thegreenearth I meant the fertilizer
Do you dilute fertilizer with water for adding in leca based plants
*Do not forget about Iron or your NEW leaves on top will allows stay yellow!!!*
Sorry, it is in the written description.
Can I do it for cannavis?
I remember my chemistry class now😮
How to use this solution?
i made the mixture (i used NPK 20-20-20) but the top leaves of the tomatoes and pepper are pale green, what should i correct
thats because of plants are unable to takeup specific nutrients, just make sure there is no residue buildup on roots and the ph is good.
How to make hydroponic solution EC 2.0 ?
Can we use this same solution for aeroponics green leafy vegetables
yes you can
Hello from Hellas I can use it for indoor plants in leca?
yes

Hello 👋 new friend here...
i have a question, dont the plant need Iron?
or is iron already in there, somewhere?
All the micronutrients are in the npk blend, btw do you know how much you have to dilute it ?
Please use regular fonts! Can hardly read those fancy fonts!
You didnt even explain how much water add before putting calcium nitrate
it should be a total of 1 gallon
It will be great if you could have talk. you could use AI voice if you are not comfortable otherwise great video.
Your recipe is wrong in the text
What is it then?
@@onekerri1 he wrote calcium sulphate instead of calcium nitrate in the description.
So careful to measure the grams, but didnt bother to tell us the size of the plastic cannister.
you blind? it is 1 gallon
