Interesante, veo que hay muchas preguntas y no han sido respondidas.... voy aactivar los subtitulo a ver si son respondidas mis interrogantes. Gracias
just a suggestion..if u had only cut off the tops of the plants and replaced them into the container, then they would have regrown without replanting to give u continuous food as long as u replenished your nutrient solution and ensured that the container was regularly cleaned..it is a common method of continuous harvesting or cut and regrow that i have used for years
Not bok Choi is not like leaf lettuce.
@@jamesholcombe435 u obviously are not speaking from experience..i have done so for years..any leafy green can be plucked or cut and will regrow..that is a fact..i have plants like spinach, silverbeet, bok choy and kale that are more than 5 years old..they are still healthy and productive and they provide me with healthy food..some people cut and return a few weeks later..i prefer to pluck instead..i usually remove the lower outer leaves..that is my usual method..new leaves will develop within a week or two and by then the larger lower leaves are ready to pluck..try it, it works..yes with bok choy!!
@@bigreg bok Choi is a cabbage not a green. I've worked produce for quite awhile. Respectfully.
@@bigreg I'll have to try your method, I've been using the whole at one time. I'll try it this year.
So you're literally just taking the outer leaves and if you have that many bok choys, the leaves you plucked will be enough.
This video is a great introduction to hydroponic gardening for beginners! 🌿✨ The tips and step-by-step instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Can’t wait to try this at home!
Wow! I love this! As a farmer too, i have now gotten an idea on how to start hydroponic farming. I am going to experiment this for sometime till i get the full knowledge, and then venture into commercial hydroponic farming.
Thanks for the great idea of using styrofoam coolers for hydroponics. It doesn't have to be expensive to grow your own food.
NO QUELLA SCHIFOSA VERDURA CINESE.
Loved the way you broke it down at [3:20]. Made it so easy to understand. Thanks for that! 😊
The energy and vibe of this video are amazing, especially at [8:40]! You inspire me to document my own farm life
Thank you. Great demonstration that we can all grow garden vegetables at home using very basic items that we may already have. We can grow the appropriate amount for our family need or to share or exchange with friends. You can keep it small, or make it as big and technical as you want. Learn from each other and eat healthier than packaged store bought foods.

Can I grow lettuce using the same method
@@Triumphant_official1 Yes, lettuce is especially easy to grow.
Hey I have a question can we grow strawberries by using this method ?
Vegetables change the taste if done this way and the over all experience in mouth is different then when planted in soil . So i stopped using Hydro . there is a reason why plants grow in soil as original :)
But according to my opinion I think there is no natural these days because even the soil needs chemicals to produce a perfect plants we supposed to use fertilizers and pesticides killers and if you don't use anything your production will not look good and will be having holes because it is going to be eaten by all kinds of pesticides
Agree but now days soils are mixed with so many fertiliser and so many waste content even you can’t rely on market fruits and vegetables they also made with usage of pesticides so for time being you will not able to eat it but after that it become familiar to you
Not for me. I feel delicious
I noticed the lettuce were a bit bitter..
Try planting this way with soil in these cups. And then fill the water with liquid organic fertilizer. I did it and the vegetables grow successfully with less watering. The taste is good as usual.
Thank you for sharing! The hydroponic gardening guide is so easy to understand, I’ll try it right away!

Apa ya nama tempatnya itu?
Gan rekomen dong top 3 tanaman hidroponik yang paling gampang mudah dan cepat panen buat pemula (?) 🙏
Thank you for sharing the technology, but I say that you did answer very questions or inquiries, more particularly about previous water is it reusable? for the next planting,or what chemicals do you use,is it organic? How many days before harvesting the veggies?
You can find the fertilizer for Hydroponic at any shop. He's from Vn, I'm VNese too but I really dislike the creators who never answer the questions. If they don't want to share, they shouldn't post the videos.
You can re-use the water, but only on other plants (like in your pot plants, or ones you have growing in the ground, etc).
For the hydroponic setup like this, you should be completely draining the water out and replacing it once a week, replacing it with new liquid food.
I personally would also add bubbler stones under each plant, to provide oxygen to the roots, as while some plants are fine just growing in water like this, some need more air, or they will drown and die.
I use the big gold ball bubbler stones. They provide a LOT of bubbles, which is what you want.
You can absolutely get all of this stuff online if you need to.
I did. :D

MDE fans where you at? Excellent choice of music lol😊
Is the hydroponic fluid added to 14 liters of water changed over time? If replacing, is some hydroponic fluid added to the water bowl? Or is all of the water+hydroponic liquid in the water container being re-prepared?
Thank you very much, for information. Idea, good job 🇱🇦 👍
Great job! Looks like a great method for cultivation. Extremely healthy plant growth. My concern would be if the fertilizer used provides nutritional value beyond just building plant structure.
I like it! Simple, cheap and effective. I must try it.

After you harvest, leave the old container alone and it will grow again? or need to use new seeds?
I would clean the container out and put more water + nutrients into it and then put more seedlings in. This looks to be based on the Kratky method if you want to look that up some more.

Simple and informative video. I'm definitely going to try this. Question. Do I need a water pump for the water in the styrofoam boxes? How to tackle mosquitoes breeding?
This is so absolutely cool. Thank you for making this for us to see. :)
Crispy fresh - delicious👍
how often do you add solution 1 & 2 to the water / do you top the water up with fresh water ?
With any sort of hydroponic setup like this, you really should be completely changing out the water and adding new solution once a week.
Especially important for vigorous leaf growth like this stuff. Goes for lettuce too.
I have a similar setup like this, except I use proper plastic containers, (far more hardy) and I also have a series of golfball bubbler stones, to help provide air to the roots dangling in the water.
Some plants don't mind just sitting in the water like this, but some will drown and rot if not provided with air to their roots somehow, which is why bubbler stones are important.
You can get outdoor air pumps with twin outlet valves too. Bit more expensive...but there ya go. :P

The science is finding that microplastics are everywhere. Even in the fish & meats we buy at the shops. I understand everyone wanting to get away from plastics but sometimes that need does not outweigh the need for growing food for our families ❤
This video is absolutely amazing! The content is so engaging!❤
Superb video, very well demonstrated
I just have few doubts if anyone can revert
1. What about the light source?
2. Did you refill the nutrition solution?
3. Will the next batch in the same root? And what about the nutrition solution for next batch
I have the same questions😢
So far I've had success with the Kratky method in dollar store containers under an LED light and that's; lettuce (romaine/iceberg/prizehead/summer time), Basil (Sweet), Broccoli (Calabrese), Spinach (Bloomsdale), Mint, Cantaloupe, Tomato (Beefsteak).
So far I am waiting on Green Pepper (Keystone), Oregano and Strawberries.

How much did the hydro liquid cost compared to soil and regular fertilizer tho. Also, those plants were pretty small. I like the idea but I think bigger containers needed or can that support a bigger plant? I know hydro is used all over the world. Will those Bok Choy regrow after cutting the top off if you leave the roots in there?
Yes, i also wanted to ask this question. Will the roots regrow back for the second harvest?
