For me, the best metal band currently on the planet. All the musicians are very talented and accomplished. Asami can definitely belt it. Now with Fami on bass, they continue to kick ass.

Never seen any of them be anything other than as cool as a cucumber. Which is amazing when it comes to Haruna on drums as her work rate and speed is intense for the whole concert. Many of the best Japanese bands are Visual Kei. They emphasize not just great plating but putting on a great show with interesting costumes, lights layers smoke fire etc. This term started by X Japan, who we're inspired by KISS. X Japan's drummer Yoshiki played drums with a broken wrist while wearing a wrist protector. Long story short. Michael Jackson went to Japan to see term, he was a big fan. Yoshi gave the wrist guard to Michael Jackson who wore it for years while performing in honor of his friend Yoshiki. Recommend watching Versailles Aristocrats Symphony live Holy Grail. They are the epitome of Visual Kei.

Japan's music scene is second to none. Let me introduce you to the God mothers of modern female Metal. Aldious Suicide live Their album District Zero hit number 7on the Japanese Billboard top 100. They have been around since 2008 have had a few singer changes and 2 drummers. They have 9 studio albums about 80 songs and not one filler in the bunch. And no Metal band ever has played is as many genres and subgenres. No matter what type of music you like you can find something of theirs to like.
Don't know if you have an instrument preference.... But there are several J Metal and J Rock bands with super talented players.
