Haruna said in an interview I read somewhere that she has to constantly think to herself to relax and stay in control, because if she gets too excited and puts too much effort in her playing then she won't be able to last for the entire 2 hour concert. Kind of like a long distance runner who knows they can't just sprint the whole time.

It always cheers my heart when Haruna gets the praise she so much deserves. She's an incredible drummer but also - as I have gathered from interview footage - such an endearing and graceful lady. Blessed all those that belong to her inner circle.

Ryan is right about the fact an inexperienced drummer would be tempted to overplay in such a context, but Haruna is doing this for more than 15 years now, she knows how to play hard but in a healthy way allowing her to do it during a whole show (this is actually a rather quiet song for her!).

Actually they are blowing up here in the west Judgement Day was the No. 1 selling Metal Album across the board for it's first 2 and a half weeks. No. 1 in the US, Canada, Uk, Spain, Germany, Norway etc, and No 2 in France.

There are so many good female drummers produced by Japan, but not 1 can compare to the little big engine. Great things come in small packages. Our Haruna is a 4'9" package of pure gold.

Drums and bass are where it is at for me and this song has great drums and bass.
