If you teared up watching 'Holy War' you should react to Lovebites 'Epilogue', a power ballad, I cry every time I hear it. Lovebites are definitely the real deal. I am 75 and grew up with rock and roll. I can remember the tingling in my spine and the goosebumps I felt the first time I heard Bill Haley's Rock Ariund the Clock, Chuck Berry's Mabelline & Presley's Heartbreak Hotel in the 1950s, the Beatles 'Love Me Do', The Rolling Stones, The Who, Black Sabbath etc. and when I first heard 'Lovbites Shadowmaker in the fall of 2017 I felt exactly the same sensations. Their live performances are much better than their studio recordings. They make it seem so effortless at the same time as looking like supermodels on the catwalk and perform a full 90 minute plus gig, playing their instruments, moving around the stage, headbanging and changing the pedals on their effects boards wearing four inch high heels and that they do not even break sweat, not even Haruna the drummer, says it all.
Lovebites the team of five power metal godesses. Asami R&B, jazz, soul, metal, rock singer, lyrics, Haruna one of the best drummer worldwide, founder, (PEARL drums) Miho bass guitar boss of the band, lyrics, founder, back singer, (JAZZ guitar) Midori lead, rythm guitar, spanish guitar, back singer, (ESP guitar) Miyako lead, rythm guitar, spanish guitar, piano, keybord, back singer, main composer but all Ladies compose. (DEAN guitar) Welcome to the magic world of Lovebites. Thanks for great reaction
I feel like a broken record, but, I have seen a couple three top power metal bands live in my life. Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest are the closest to this for me and I have seen them both live back in their heyday decades ago, this band is right there with them. When you say tearing up, that just means they are eye-watering good. They are that good.
@@Argumemnon Many of the bands believe that they work to live directly with the audience. And, It's fun to go to a tiny venue in a local city in Japan and participate.
Great reaction, try "Raise some Hell", "The Hammer Of Wrath" or "Thunder Vengeance" live from them. Lovebites and Band-Maid are my two favorite female rock / metalbands on earth.
You wanna have more fun? React to "Raise Some Hell" by LOVEBITES from the same concert, their interactions are so much fun to watch. Thanks for the reaction. Cheers!! 😊
ARIGATO for the nice reaction!! LOVEBITES and BANDMAID are my favorite bands. They are all talented. There are many talented musicians in japan. Please react DESTROSE. DESTROSE is legendary band. MIHO and HARUNA(LOVEBITES) were the member. "MAZE", "RIN", "FENIXX" are the good songs!!
Lovebites drummer, Haruna is fantastic! All Lovebites members are masters. Great reaction! Another fantastic band with a Monster drummer is Crystal Lake, japanese metalcore Band. See you next!!!
You've done Band-Maid and now a couple Lovebites. Now time to check out Unlucky Morpheus and Doll$Boxx. Both bands are fronted by the same singer, Fuki. For Unlucky Morpheus I recommend Knight of the Sword or Dignity of Spirit (live version). For Doll$Boxx I recommend Shout Down, Sekaiwa Kitto Aiwo Shitterunda or Dragonet (live version w/ drum solo). Both bands have awesome drummers 🤘😁🤘

LoveBites is the best metal band in the world that carries on the legacy of Megadeth, Metallica and Iron Maiden. Band Maid carries on the torch of progressive rock bands such as Rush and touch of punk as Green Day and Red Hot Chillie Peppers. They are absolutely both amazing but totally different. Pick any LoveBites video and do the reaction. They are ALL awesome 👌 👏 😎.
Lovebites REGULARLY make me tear up. Try "Rising" from this show - Miyako will leave you spluttering with her sheer virtuousity. And have CC turned on - the lyrics will stay with you. They make you feel like you can face ANY and ALL obstacles - and conquer them! 🤘💜
Haruna, 4'9", the Pocket Nuke, does that for an entire concert set, over an hour and a half. And yes, the shredders. I'll put Miyako and Midori up against any pair in history. Play them back to back with old Maiden clips, and the girls are cleaner, heavier, faster and more melodic. It's truly insane. And don't overlook Miho, the bassist. The founder, soul and true metalhead of the group, she is also one of the top rock/metal bassists in the world.
Miho's awesome, she has a lot of responsibity filling in the sound while Midori and Miyako are trading leads and doing duets, and it gets overlooked a lot because people are mesmerized by the guitar solos. And when they aren't playing leads, Miho's doing a lot of intricate stuff. I do love when the camera stays on her for a while so you can really see her fingers flying. That Helloween cover they did shows her off a little, and I like it.
I know you´re a big fan, I´m too. But would you please stop to compare and put down Iron Maiden all the time to Lovebites? You´re doing them no sevice with that.
@@UltraHD.7 I don't see it as putting Iron Maiden down. They are the standard for powermetal, the first great group to do it and they did it for so long. So I'm comparing Lovebites to the best. But Lovebites have it all: the speed and skill of Dragonforce, the songwriting chops of Metallica, the melodic spirit of Maiden, and the savagery of Slayer. Like medicine and technology, the world evolves, and Lovebites are the next level. If you look at the talent coming along behind them, like Yoyoka, Lisa-X, Asterism etc., I would guess that in a generation someone will surpass Lovebites. It's part of the cycle of life! Peace.
@@hiawatha.g I can agree with the first half of what you wrote. They are fantastic, but you can´t compare music to science, like medicine or technology. Music is timeless and because it´s newer, it´s not automatically "better". Of course there are bands that are heavier, faster, maybe cleaner as Iron Maiden, but this says nothing about the feel or the creativity of it. Iron Maiden is probably the greatest Metal-Band of the past 40 years and still filling stadiums, with some of the all-time best guitarists. As sorry as I am to say that, but Lovebites still has to come some way to come that close.
@@UltraHD.7 I don't think we disagree all that much. The greatest group of all time were, in my opinion, the Beatles, and not one of them would be rated among the greatest at their instruments. their chemistry and songwriting set them apart. That should also answer your question about "newer" being better--I never said that. I listen to Roy Orbison and Miles Davis too. And yes, to be among the greatest, Lovebites need to last awhile. Best and Greatest are not the same--greatness requires the test of time. We'll see.
There so good. Her beautiful strong voice, the quitars are magnificent, the drummer is killing it als always. Love to see that tiny lovely woman behind the drums.

Like we said LIVE is were you really can appreciate the insane talent level of this band!!! They play FLAWLESSLY LIVE and sound so damn good doing it!!! Little Haruna/drums just had a Birthday and that 4' 9" beast beats her drums like they owe her money!!! The duo of Midori and Miyako is the most dynamic duo playing LIVE today, watch them and you can't believe that they play at this speed so effortlessly and switch back and forth from lead to backup and their riffs and harmonizing is already legendary. Anything from their LIVE shows in 2019 or 2020 are well worth your effort to review as they have the best audio quality. You are now truly bitten and a member of the WOLF-PACK so enjoy the best LIVE power metal band playing today. They look like petite (all around 5') models on their way to a fashion show but let them put on high heels and white dresses (so they can be seen on stage) and they will blow you out the door while making your head explode on the way!!!
Great reaction thanks! To get a better impression of their versatility make sure to check out 'Empty Daydream' next: ruclips.net/video/lXh_uMM94jU/видео.html 'Swan Song' would also be a great choice but it has already been covered to death by others while there's barely one to 'Empty Daydream'. No metal band can make you feel this good...and they made so many songs, you dont need to listen to anything else...since every single one is pure class. Studio albums are very good, but they also released plenty of live stuff, so you can get the best of Asami... 😉

If you want more of their brilliance, anything from the concert 5 of a kind is amazing. The song We the United also offers some facial expression from the dark-haired guitarist, Miyako. A high 5 after a very long dual solo where they harmonize perfectly. But the entire concert is great. Avoid Bloodstock though, audio is bad :-( The drummer (her name escapes me right now) is about 4'9" but I have a feeling she cracks coconuts between her knees with those leg muscles!

Not sure you'd want to do it for the channel since it's fancam quality, but search up "Dragonforce Farming Simulator"; Lovebites were opening for Dragonforce and Midori and Miyako joined them for a cover of the song from Farming Simulator and it is glorious.
All of these videos I've seen not one has commented on the crowd reaction during the change over. It was like an army responding to the drill seargent. I loved it.
Long time I ignored them because i not really like other JMetal/Rock bands...but then I heard one song... now this is my fav band i discovered the last years! I frakking love them, even bought stuff from them what i normal not do with bands :)okay may also be because I'm a PowermetalFan my whole Life :) But these Ladys have so extremely high Skill it's unreal.
Check their cover of Helloween Eagle Fly Free and be amazed. There is not a single song from their three albums and two EP's that are not from "this is awesome" to "this is epic!". Want more bands put to shame? Epilogue (ballad), Edge of the World, Swan Song, Burden of Times (guitar=keyboards, simultaneously), Empty Daydream, Signs of Deliverance (dual guitar overhand tapping), Thunder Vengeance, Under the Red Sky and many more. The Japanese bands, especially all female bands like Band-Maid, Nemophila, Scandal, Aldious, Mary's Blood and so on are just talent galore.

It's been a year, time to get back to Lovebites, the band that blew your mind. They released a new live video a few months ago that will blow you away again with the guitar solos. Check out "Set the World on Fire" live. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/99zsH6iG_6c/видео.html
BABYMETAL, BAND-MAID and LOVEBITES are Japanese bands. Why don't you check out one more Japanese band. ASTERISM's "Rising Moon" 18 year old Japanese female guitarist HAL-CA's unbelievable crazy good play will blow your mind away. 100% guaranteed.
Asterism are 3 teens who blend Metal, Rock and Jazz into wicked instrumental sounds (no vocals) still wicked good. Haruka/guitar has the Hendrix vibe (I saw Jimi LIVE so I know what I am suggesting) she is wicked good and unlike a lot of the more reserved Japanese female guitarist she really gives off that rock star vibe and her playing is sensational to say the least. Try their salute to Van Halen in studio LIVE one take (ruclips.net/video/vCaQaT_PUxo/видео.html) Haruka only started the guitar at 10 so this is with 8 years experience!!!
if no one has mentioned it yet, might wanna check out Destrose, a band where Haruna and Miho (drummer and bassist) used to play before Lovebites sure, Lovebites is lightyears ahead musically, largely due to Miyako's songwriting, but it's still good tunes
I listen to Rock and metal since 1980 ( When my brother ( RIP Eric, i miss you everyday ) makes me to discover Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, and Genesis before Peter Gabriel left the band). but all these band and many others i like ( Metalica, Anthrax, Megadeth, Saxon, Iron Maiden, ... etc ) are old and tired now. and in my sincere opinion. in 2024 Lovebites IS the best metal band in the world.
As a drummer yourself, you’ve got to check out Senri Kawaguchi, the most distinguished female drummer of Japan. She is also one of the youngest (at 13) to be added into the Drummerworld’s list of the Top 500 drummers in the world. She has also been featured as the cover artist on an issue of Drumhead magazine. Here’s a link to a drum solo by her ruclips.net/video/V5YDxDuyKDI/видео.html And here’s a live of her song “Adventure” ruclips.net/video/urpso-w87ts/видео.html She’s an inspiration esp. as a female drummer from a non-English speaking country, to have managed to carve out a name for herself in this male dominated field of the international music scene, relying solely on her skill and dedication to the craft. Her youtube channel has all her videos from when she started more than a decade ago by doing covers of anime soundtracks, to now having released multiple albums of her own and getting to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the industry. There are also a few instructional videos by her on the Drumeo youtube channel. I have zero musical background but just watching her play so effortlessly makes me want to pick up drumming too. She honestly made me develop a new appreciation for drum focussed instrumentals and Jazz fusion, which is a completely new genre for me.
Lovebites, yes; Band-Maid, yes; Ningen isu, not yet, please do Ningen isu "Heartless scat" you will love the drummer not to mention the bass player and lead guitarist.
Next react to great japanese power metal band name Galneryus You can react to Angel of salvation live version (16 minute) It will be great with Orchestra

THUNDER VENGEANCE
Not sure you'd want to do it for the channel since it's fancam quality, but search up "Dragonforce Farming Simulator"; Lovebites were opening for Dragonforce and Midori and Miyako joined them for a cover of the song from Farming Simulator and it is glorious.
Since you're a drummer, go for Thunder Vengeance ! Some insane drumming in that one.
Bro, next songs Raise Some Hell/Scream For Me...watch their crazy solo's....
At that time the 4'8" drummer is 22yrs old. "Little Big Motor" has a wonderful style and feel.
What are they feeding those girls?!?
🔥LOVEBITES🐺PERFECTION🔥
All of these videos I've seen not one has commented on the crowd reaction during the change over. It was like an army responding to the drill seargent. I loved it.
Long time I ignored them because i not really like other JMetal/Rock bands...but then I heard one song... now this is my fav band i discovered the last years! I frakking love them, even bought stuff from them what i normal not do with bands :)okay may also be because I'm a PowermetalFan my whole Life :) But these Ladys have so extremely high Skill it's unreal.
For you my friend i suggest 'Bravehearted' live studio version. Haruna, the little Drummer, is also the main composer of this incredible track.
That little drumming pocket dynamo beats her drums just like this even at the closing of the stage, after way over an hour. Insane hah!
You're tearing up? I'M TEARING UP!!! They're just so god damn good! :D
You should also check out one of the songs where the one guitarist playing the grand piano.
LOVEBITES-MIYAKO Piano Solo『 Revolutionary Etude』『Swan Song』 Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020
Best metal band ever.
ASTERISM's "Rising Moon"
18 year old Japanese female guitarist HAL-CA's unbelievable crazy good play will blow your mind away.

Thank you.
😎👍
Miho Miho Miho!
Glad you found this AWESOME band! They are beyond words. Funny fact......the "little drummer" actuallly founded the band! Cheers, dude.
Haruna is the co-founder, to be precise. Miho is the actual leader.
@@cepho8349 Thanks for the info. I know they both came together from another band. They ALLL are great!
that's what I love about band maid and lovebites. They are consistently better live than on the albums.
band maid is variety band with no playing skills.
Great reaction .....react EPILOGUE LIVE....MIYAKO play piano and emotional guitar solo
Next, please react to Lovebites / Edge of the World Live at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo. It's a rollercoaster of awesomeness!
if no one has mentioned it yet, might wanna check out Destrose, a band where Haruna and Miho (drummer and bassist) used to play before Lovebites
sure, Lovebites is lightyears ahead musically, largely due to Miyako's songwriting, but it's still good tunes
I've got two of their cds. They're surprisingly more diverse than you'd think.
Hell freaking yaah! Thank you!
Best Female Metal Band!!~ Lovebites - Thunder Vengeance / Scream For Me Reaction Please~! :D
make me tearing up too bro.... \m/
I listen to Rock and metal since 1980 ( When my brother ( RIP Eric, i miss you everyday ) makes me to discover Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, and Genesis before Peter Gabriel left the band). but all these band and many others i like ( Metalica, Anthrax, Megadeth, Saxon, Iron Maiden, ... etc ) are old and tired now. and in my sincere opinion. in 2024 Lovebites IS the best metal band in the world.
great reaction. made my day (was still a bit devastated from alexi laihos passing) .
Check out Nemophila, another all female metal band from Japan. Songs - Dissenssion or Orian.
Try Thunder Vengeance the show opener full on mate 👍🤘
As a drummer yourself, you’ve got to check out Senri Kawaguchi, the most distinguished female drummer of Japan. She is also one of the youngest (at 13) to be added into the Drummerworld’s list of the Top 500 drummers in the world. She has also been featured as the cover artist on an issue of Drumhead magazine.
Here’s a link to a drum solo by her ruclips.net/video/V5YDxDuyKDI/видео.html
And here’s a live of her song “Adventure” ruclips.net/video/urpso-w87ts/видео.html
She’s an inspiration esp. as a female drummer from a non-English speaking country, to have managed to carve out a name for herself in this male dominated field of the international music scene, relying solely on her skill and dedication to the craft.
Please react

You should check out this New Zealand band. The video I recommend is ALIEN WEAPONRY - Rū Ana Te Whenua ruclips.net/video/Lx_xGv70Yyo/видео.html. These guys were in their early teens when they did this video. Be sure to take notice of the drummer.
