Engineering of an orion-drive propelled spacecraft.
Background : The C.o.S Engineering Corps. was founded right after the formation of the Consolidation of Spacers. As the name states, the primary goal of this special branch of the C.o.S Military Sector was to study and engineer various technologies. Many contest to the moral values held by the C.o.S Engineering Corps. , but the fact remains :That they are the best engineers the C.o.S has to offer, and that their technological prowess is unparalleled.
Note : The Orion drive in this video is based on some design from a friend of mine on Discord. I'm just testing it in this video.

This is the second Orion Drive vid I have seen, and this is sort of better. Also, the poor escort carrier got shredded! This is a ship you'd want traveller's on its own

This is the second example of this type of propulsion system in CoaDE, what yield are the "pills" (propulsive charges) material of the absorber, etc?

Was the armor on the "pusher plate" solely comprised of Aerogel or did it have other material components? I've been trying to design one of these myself and I can never get the plate to survive more than 10 or so blasts
