Dumbell pullovers is a compound muscle exercise if you do it right. It engages and activates more of the back muscles on a deep stretch which are teres major and lats. Pecs on chest also helps. This is more of a back exercise rather than chest. This is a bit counter productive if you just want to work on your pecs. The rom of this is similar on standing lat prayers except that lats prayer's tension is continuous. If you want to just maximize training your pecs, doing flys with a deep stretch is the most optimal way.
The narrow close grip press targets chest and triceps! It can put less stress on your shoulders too compared to traditional chest press since your triceps will carry more of the load. It’s just another variation that can be beneficial but you’ll have a better ROM with a traditional press (that’s why I start with that since you’ll want to go your heaviest with it)
@@AudreyKoomar ok, do u understand that not your arm but elbow position is dependent on muscle involvement? 2nd hex press or how this shit called dont remember targets your muscles but it has so many flaw commencing with rom ending with jeopardized wrist position. I had this stage and i wanna avert you from having this one, youd better skip it
Considering its 3 sets of 12 try up the weights slowly . Start at 10 lb since you can handle that easily and move up until you find a weight that you dont quite fail at 12 with. Lifting should be close to failure on the last rep. Nobody can recommend a weight for you since that depends on your strength currently
Did this to failure, my left arm can't keep up 🥲.. but it was after I was doing my deltoids Update, I find this helps with my posture and my chest looks better
