Steven Van Zandt has the mischievous glint of a satyr. Talk to him and depending on the question, you'll see a wide range of grins and grimaces and hear a selection of giggles and guffaws that suggest this is a man fully in touch with his Dionysian side.
Van Zandt, 72, better known as Little Steven, the guitar-slinging consigliere to Bruce Springsteen's commanding capo in the fabled E Street Band, is celebrating his SiriusXM radio program "Little Steven's Underground Garage" rolling into its 21st year after more than 1,000 shows.

Restless Nights, played ONCE, incredible song. Why is Bruce reluctant to play those songs that Stevie refers to? There is a particular slice of his songbook that get overplayed and others never played or hardly played. So many fantastic songs have been parked forever. Would love to know what goes on behind the scenes. Could just be a lot of stick to what you know and remember, it’s incredibly difficult to remember the chords for all of those songs, but so many options for the Europe leg of the tour.
I met little Steven in Sweden but don't remember when and where😊 think in the 80s and he has some connection to Sweden❤

I hate to disagree with you Susan, but this tour is Bruce just phoning it in. It’s his cash grab before retirement.
No Greetings, no Nebraska, no tunnel of love, no Lucky Town , no Magic, and what’s worse nothing from Western Stars. It’s the same set list almost every showHe now has 17 people on the stage . More like his version of an Elvis show from the seventies

Bruce overplays all the workhorses - how many times does one need to play Promised Land, Badlands, Out in the Street, Glory Days, DITD, Born to Run while ignoring the rest of his catalog. And Bruce's Greed and money grab this tour has wrecked his once stellar reputation. I have no interest in the man of the people blue collar Fraud.
Pierre, as he and Jon Landau explained prior to this tour, the actual ticket prices are comparable to what other legendary performers are currently charging. Anyone has the choice not to buy a ticket and tickets in some of the smaller markets are priced less. And no, I have zero connection to him other than being an avid fan who owns many of his albums.
I mostly agree with you. The ridiculous prices for Springsteen On Broadway was the first clue. Ticket prices for everyone's concerts are out of control, but I expected Bruce to not be part of the $ is all that matters group of legend acts. I hope he will do something to redeem himself and win back the thousands of fans he has lost.

How many times have the Stones played Satisfaction? What about the Who and Pinball Wizard? Or Billy Joel and Piano Man? Do you see a pattern here? Have you checked out their ticket prices? I already went once and will be going to at least 3 more during this tour. I'll spend my money on Bruce while others will keep spending it on booze, cigarettes and scratch tickets.
