Bruce Springsteen is a f*cking legend, and a very funny man naturally... Superb interview.
He´s absolutely awesome and to me he embodies the nice American
He’s a globalist puppet pretending to be for the middle class
I think this is the first interview of his I've ever watched. I like him. Always loved his music. Imagine having him for a Dad (omg) and not loving his music like everyone else does. but maybe they will eventually.
@@christinacampbell5952imagine having him for a husband ! OMG!! He is still sexy at 76!! Patti is gorgeous too.
Bruce is such a gift to the world!!!
He's also allegedly a rapist
Bruce is a. Man above All
Olá Tommy, eu e minha neta de 6 anos concordamos com você!!! Amamos o Bruce.
São José do Rio Preto SP. BRASIL
Thanks for your love and support towards me I really appreciate you and can’t thank you enough. Write me with the address above to be among the lucky few who stand a chance for a meet and greet when I am in your city or city nearby
He really is! I saw him two weeks ago in Barcelona for the 4th time, I really really hope it's not the last!
I know a woman who went to high school with him. She described him as a shy guy with a plimply face. Who knew he would become our New Jersey’s Boss? Forever!!I still miss Clarence. He and Bruce were awesome.
Awww yeah that is what I have heard too! Actually there are a couple stories in the biography Bruce that came out a few years ago that back that up. One really sweet one where the author was spending the day with him and they went to pick up his kids from school and Bruce was watching them play with their friends and said something about how glad he was that they didn't struggle as much socially as he did at their age. It is nice to know that he ended up finding people like Clarence and Little Steven. I'm still super sad about Clarence, he will never be forgotten!
I grew up with them in Jersey. Loved them. Didn't know them personally but at Stone Pony and Count Basie theater. Many concerts in Ca after moving here from Red Bank, my hometown
His insight, humor, and humility never cease to amaze. He's my idol for sure.
Nothing like kids to keep you humble
I went to Germany in 1998 and the first song I heard on German radio was “Glory Days”. Bruce is universal. ❤
Thanks for your love and support towards me I really appreciate you and can’t thank you enough. Write me with the address above to be among the lucky few who stand a chance for a meet and greet when I am in your city or city nearby
I like how he said: “…our audience,” not “… my audience.”
As a Dutchman I can say: that Dutch accent is so accurate hahaha. Thank you Bruce Springsteen for your fantastic music! Greetings from the Netherlands! 👏
Paul Whitehouse is, perhaps, the only one that can do a Dutch accent. One of the reasons Johnny Depp find him such a great actor.
Springsteen was/is, for working class people what Shaun Ryder is for Madchester.
"Got a wife and kid in Amsterdam, Jack" would fit too!
You learned more from a 3 minute record than you ever learned in school?
No, you dutch people speak English so well!!! Greetings from Germany.
He's not only a great singer but extremely humble guy as well
@ProudOfYourRoots If somebody out there is willing to pay 5K to see him, I'd rather it go to him vs. a ticket scalper or stubhub. Many people who buy a ticket knowing they can turn around and sell it for 7 times face value will do so. So, doesn't it make sense that HE get that money?
@ProudOfYourRoots 5k is like 5 times an exaggeration… not that 1k isn’t too much but damn
He is amazing and he is candid about his struggles with depression in his book. He's a class act. His ticket prices are not of his doing BTW. 😎
He has to be humble he has never done a days work in his life.....all he has done is become the greatest living singer songwriter and performer on the planet😜😜👍👍💕💕
It isn't 5K if you just want to see his Concert load of rubbish where does this crap come from
I saw he in Milan in 1986, at San Siro stadium, with 80.000 people - Just amazing!
He’s after slowing down a lot since, no more running and jumping around the stage or swinging the guitar.
@@michaelwalsh9145well he is 74 now that explains alot
@BruceSpringsteen-k9h 💀💀💀💀
I love how he has always referred to his career as his "job" - as if he goes to the office on weekdays like regular people. But I think he does in fact approach his music with sheer, blue-collar hard work. What he does - being rock's greatest performer for 50 years - takes a shitload of time, energy and commitment. His work ethic is as much a component of his success as his musical talent.
Never performed less than 3 hours. Just amazing to have that much stamina and energy!
My Italian father in law is one of those people singing along without understanding anything:) we saw Bruce in Padova and I will go anyday of the week to see this man, he is prompt, full of energy and amazing live!!
Thankful for Springsteen and Seth.
I Could listen to Bruce talk about his family life for hours and not be bored!
He's a master story teller. Call me crazy but sometimes I actually think I like listening to him tell stories rather than performing music..
Go back a few days & watch SM have his family (mom, brother, & dad on zoom) on the LL Show. 3 darling kids in their turkey costumes......worth it!
He's so smart too. I read his book. He still remembers every detail of his growing up. Just amazing to me!!
I believe there’s still an appetite for legends to tour
I agree and I’m trying to see as many of them as I can while they still tour!
I just saw him in Baltimore, and somehow he exceeded my expectations. I'm a fan, but the true fanatics of all ages, sang every word from every song. Oh yeah, he sang Hungry Heart.
@dstatton, did you catch him at the CFG arena in 2023?
We all know all his words to every song yup!!
Involved and commited European fan here 🙋🏼♀️ - thanks for the shout-out, got my ticket months ago 😍
Did you get your clot shot whichever one he was pushing?
Love the boss. Started seeing him live in 75 and saw every tour for the next three decades.
That must have been amazing!
Saw 6 shows on the 75-76 tour
I'M Australian and saw my first concert of his last year as it was the first time he came to my city. It was the best concert I've ever seen. Everyone had a ball, he crowd surfed and joked around. There were people everywhere, young and old, dancing. It was just one big party and I can't wait to see him when he returns next year. One of our kids is really in to music and has seen so many concerts and yet they still say that the Springsteen concert is No 1.
This is the Church of E Street. Enter and you will be HEALED.
Is he coming back to Australia next year? I'll have to look out for tickets!!
@@patricenz Supposedly he is. They announced it over a month ago.
The Boss is the coolest senior citizen to ever live. I’m in my 40’s and don’t have one iota of that swagger.
You've gotta EARN that swagger!
Thank you Mr Springsteen about your audiance here in Europe. We consider your songs poems and understand them very well
A very wise man that I am so happy to come across him with the Greetings from Asbury Park album as a 16 year old in 1983. Also saw him at St James Park, Newcastle, in 1985 on the Born in the USA tour. The songs were and are a massive influence on my life. Thank you
Bruce is such a kind rock star
I live in Freehold Bruce is always around town talking to people he’s the man!!
I'm German, living in the UK now and grew up with his Music! So many times I danced to 'Dancing in the Dark' in the Disco! Still dance to it now!💃
I remember Tina Turner once said (maybe 15 years ago?) how much she liked playing Europe. She said unlike America, you don’t have to have a new album out for the fans to come to your concert.
I've always thought it is shameful that her latter music got so much more respect in Europe. She had so many great songs in the 90s that the US ignored.
Bruce is great! Certainly a musical talent but also a self-made one. He willed himself to be the Boss.
You just have to love him..! ❤
He's a very nice guy! I am one of his european fans who learned his songs without speaking a good english... he is part of the soundtrack of my life!
Music goes beyond languages!
He’s naturally brilliant. A true poet.
“No real cranberries, CANNED for Thanksgiving” whoohoooooo love me some BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
nuttin' wrong with CANNED WHOLE BERRY stuff! Add chopt pecans and 🍊 orange zest 😘
We serve homemade cranberry relish. We served the canned cranberry when I was a kid because we didn’t like the relish.
Bruce is so real.....he is just awesome and timeless❤❤❤
Bruce is always wellcome to Europe! Waiting for 2024 , and hoping he could come back again next year. Cheers from Spain!
Thank you Late Night Seth Meyers interview Bruce Springsteen brilliant compliment.
I’ve seen him live a few weeks ago in Belgium. Huge tick off my bucket list and a wonderful experience!
Wow, this was a great chill interview!! I know Bruce is a pretty serious introvert and sometimes he seems a bit uncomfortable in interviews, so nice to see him so relaxed. Love him to death. For anyone who hasn't read his book Born To Run, I can't recommend it enough. As someone who struggles with depression, it was so validating and inspiring to read such an honest and insightful account of how he has dealt with his struggle with mental illness. I think a casual fan would be kinda stunned by how revealing it is, I remember many of the reviews of it expressing that. But for those of us who have found comfort in his lyrics and the stories he tells in his concerts it isn't surprising. Even still I was pretty blown away by it.
Probably not gonna read it, tell me - does Bruce think he has enough money yet?
This is true, he is radiating such warmth here. Maybe because Seth is such an amiable guy?
@@Tuinuiski I think so too! And maybe also since his audience is a little smaller it is a little less pressure coming on his show.
@@alandbs329 Apparently not, considering Mr. Blue Collar Jersey guy is charging $1,800 for the "privilege" of standing (no chair!) on a concrete floor in front of the stage, and $600 +/- for the worst nosebleed seats on his current tour. You couldn't pay ME to go see the Yiddish Ham.
Bruce’s book is wonderful! I read it it a year or so ago, and then recently I read a comment where another fan said that she had enjoyed the Audible version where Bruce reads the book, so I tried that too; and I loved it! Bruce amazes me not only because of his fantastic talent, but because he’s lived his life in the spotlight for all these years, but somehow has apparently managed to stay so grounded and avoid so many of the hazards that usually accompany celebrity. Thank you Boss for so much wonderful music! Looking forward to our first live show next weekend.
He looks fantastic!!
Saw him in New Jersey! Love him. Still the boss!!
I was very lucky to get a last minute ticket to see Bruce 37 years ago in France ...the crowd not only sang along to all of his songs but some were helping others in the crowd by translating what they songs were about ! I saw him a few months later in Chicago and the place was packed solid but the crowd wasn't as excited as the crowd in France
He says his fans in Europe are the best!!
My teenager is a big fan. My husband used to listen to Tunnel of Love from his own parents' CD. So I guess he will never die.
💕💕💕 Thanks for your love and support towards me I really appreciate you and can’t thank you enough. Write me with the address above to be among the lucky few who stand a chance for a meet and greet when I am in your city or a city next to you..
As a Dutch guy I can say Seth did a spot on dutch-singing-english-impression on 4:12 🙌🏼
I agree 😂
Went to my first bruce gig last year....that man left a mark on my soul like no other....2 more gigs lined up this year...cannot wait!
I was euphoric for the next day
Great interview ! Bruce S. Dancing in the Dark still makes me dream of those days !!!! 💛👏🏻👏🏻🍀👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You say it's a great thing that people who don't even speak proper English and who are thousands of miles from the United States know your music.
Gee Bruce, I know over 700 Elvis songs and even almost all the outtakes by heart, and I'm not even of Elvis Prseley's generation.
And I live in Istanbul, Turkey. Today I've listened to your songs probably over 20 times in the car.
And I want to say that the song "Nightshift" is great work. Love from Istanbul, Turkey.
"You're not The Boss of me!"
"Son? Time for your music history lesson."
Why does it feel like this is an exchange that could have gone down?
Children brought us to be on earth but remembering having dance your song at my 15 is a gift nobody will take me away. Don’t care how you dance, while you keep that spirit and carisma which are intact. Your songs bring me joy but many others calm, safety and reflection moments. You are so important to many of us. Cause every song you shared and your personality. 🌺💛👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 your voice could be recognized even among millions. Unique as you Bruce Springsteen- A Great Force of Nature🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀👏🏻👏🏻
Saw Bruce for the Born In The USA tour!! Wow!!
You're very welcome, we're glad to get to sing along with you. And we understand the language. 😉Europe.
Bruce, thank you for meeting Anastasia. You were a kind man who wanted to play with the baby and she was a first time mom with the baby blues. You sat down and had lunch with her. She didn't know you were a famous and well regarded musician. That was probably the last time you managed to go anywhere on your own. Anastasia is a great-grandmother now and doing fine. Ya done good.
Such a chill low key dude. ❤
I sing The Mavericks Spanish tunes phonetically and usually have no idea what I’m singing about and dance through the entire thing! I think The Mavericks need to open for Bruce! They have a similar rapport with their audience, at the very least, pop up onto stage at one of their regular New Jersey shows! They have covered a number of your tunes and these incredible musicians would be so very humbled! Even if you don’t want to join them on stage, you can’t go through life without seeing this incredible, versatile band. You WILL leave smiling and in awe of Raul Malo’s Voice!
I was at the concert in East-Berlin at 1988 💛 there were 160 000 people.
73 and still so sexy.... I love his humbleness 🥰
Is he 73? He is so handsome ! I agree 💯
@@begabrielanunez7326 he said so in this interview
He is very humble and kind.
He really does come across so natural. I saw him tell a story about going to the movies and meeting a young guy and his girlfriend and he ended up becoming a family friend and still is.
Saw him in Oslo on 30 June and it was amazing. No one puts on a show like the Boss and his band and no matter what country you go to everyone knows the lyrics and sings along. I just hope we get to see another tour in Europe before he retires.
I'm italian and I've read rumors of a June 2024 date in the stadium of Milan. Fingers crossed for the rest of Europe as well!
seth is a good interviewer.
I’m totally with Bruce not only on the marshmallow in the yams, but cranberry sauce out of the can. Didn’t know I had so much in common with the Boss. Long time dedicated fan and have been to many of his concerts. Love you Bruce! You’re songs have touched my heart and soul😍😊
Me too, about the yams a cranberry sauce.
hate both of them give me the potatoes and the turkey lol
I love this man & his band. Got to see them in concert years ago. Had the best seats in the house. Told my son...."I can die happy now....I finally got to see the MAN". Bruce will forever be in my heart.
@brucespringsteenmusicworld You're the greatest. Saw your concert while I was living in Orange County, California. Now I live in Portland, Oregon & since the riots during the pandemic it's horribly ugly here. They never fixed it up & it keeps getting worse. To me you are "The Boss" as they say. I am almost 72 now....that's how long you've rocked for me.
Bruce is so humble and down to earth..❤
I'm barney for adults I love it lmao
I saw him in Rotterdam nl in 87 or 88, while i was stationed near Zeist, in the USAF, great concert
This guy is so phenomenal!
Yes! And what about this Springsteen guy!!!
He's garbage. Another hypocrite. He sided with Ticketmaster after it screwed over his fans.
Bruce is the man!!!
The man is a national treasure!!!
Love Bruce and his music for 40 years , seen him live 10 times , super memorable times ! Politically Bruce you do not speak for me or anyone like me ! Wishing you well !
Check out a great live concert of his in 1975 Hammersmith Odeon, London. Classic Bruce!!
All of us guys hope to age as well as
Bruce Springsteen.
Tramps Like Us deserve it.

I got to work with bruce on St paddy's day in Boston with The Dropkick Murphys. What a cool guy!
Ticket master isn’t the same business model as it was. I support my 70*s dudes forever ❤
He should be aware of that before talking. Springsteen isn't a working class hero anymore. He's an out of touch d bag. Sorry. Ps Ticketmaster was NEVER good.
Sweden loves Bruce!!
I find it amusing that Bruce and Robert de Niro are gradually morphing into the same guy.
Out of touch air heads?
@@nearthefarworld Pretty much
Haha yeah

🤣 They are equally great though!👍👍❤
You can tell he's a real humble guy when he talks about the audience coming to see He says we not me
Bruce Springsteen ist ein großartiger Sänger und sympathischer Mensch ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When your kids don't acknowledge you're the BOSS 👀
He’s got a point too. They’re probably into the Stones, Who and some of his other buddies.
Those guy’s kid probably the same way.
Overall, all of they’re kids think they are old cats and you know how that goes. I’m living it with my 19 year old 22 century - hipster.
It's funny, because my friends and I were saying the same thing when we saw him years ago at the Meadowlands. Our seats were sort of off to the side of the stage, and you could see part of the backstage area, and there were3 kids climbing on things. We figured it had to be his kids, because who else's kids would be allowed to do that? Then we thought, "Can you imagine seeing all these people here for your PARENTS?!?" 🤣
Awesome, regardless of age. 'The Boss'.
Those are my favorites at Thanksgiving too!
the boss rocks .. i hope he adds glasgow onto his tour .. go bruce you rock ❤❤❤
See you Bruce in Gothenburg 2023❤
Springsteen's version of "She's the One" in Barcelona and "My Home Town" in the UK are two of my favorite Bruce videos to pull up on RUclips. Both times he is at his best and the audiences are right there with him hanging on for every note and every word.
Let's face it, to much of the world Bruce Springsteen is the Ambassador of the USA.
41 Shots , in Tampa is good, too.
🇲🇫 France love Bruce !!!
The world clearly needs more Bruce Springsteens.
Am I the only one jealous of the shape this guy is in?
Nope! 😂 💪
He's too thin, imho.
Many people around the world speak and understand English WAY better than many here in the U.S. Still- he da BOSS.

The man’s children are the luckiest ones all they to say is any song title that the man had penned and he plays it. I would appreciate a dad like that I’d ask him to play all the bootleg stuff I’d heard over the years and have the greatest concert ever. Oh only if dreams come true. Will keep my fingers crossed for a little miracle.
I have a hard time imagining they want to hear one---all the years of coming to shows, hanging out backstage, etc...
Legend of a man.
I think Europe changed a lot in the last 15 - 20 years. Almost anybody speaks and understands english over here does days. I just came home from a Springsteen Concert in Stockholm - 3 unbelievable hours the audience was singing word by word every single song. Please do not retire Bruce we need you more than ever!
His kids turned out pretty well. There is you tube video of one them being sworn in as a firefighter in front of his family.
The BOSS FOR EVER !!! Love from CANNES French Riviera !❤️🌴☀️🌴☀️🌴🎸🎸🎸💪💪
It's so funny, because my kids are similar age to Bruce's and were raised on his music...hahaha..they have their own tastes too and Bruce is certainly not their number one, but they both love his music. Kinda like I loved Elvis, who was my mom's hero.
U.S. I love You for the music,.for the nature, for Mr Springsteen..but for God sake, the cuisine.....sweet potatoes covered with marshmallows?! I don't even wanna imagine the taste :D
Best regards. I've been long time Springsteen fan, half of my life by now, especially early years, and will love the whole Darkness and River album forever cause lyrics and harmonies are absolutely mind-blowing and there's so much emotion in them. True art. It always moves me. I don't follow much anymore, I am stuck in 70-80s ;)
Hopefully he's still doing fine, but of course everyone ages and matures and changes. Stay in good health, Mister!
