I just can't stop watching this! Bruce has this unique ability to make people happy for OTHER people. Notice that nobody is mobbing him and screaming "me next". They are genuinely happy for this little girl. It's quite obvious he not only loves kids ( and people) but also has not forgotten what it's like to be a fan and a father. When he brings people onstage, it could go so wrong but it never does, there is a mutual connection between him and audience that will never been seen from again. I've seen tons of concerts and while all good in their own way, other artists still have a " professional distance" that still puts them away from us. Bruce almost seems like he's hosting ( and partaking) in the world's biggest house party....amazing performer
yes, how do he manage to transform a massive concert in a sort of a family party or a friends reunion? is not easy - they say - to keep all together when it's a big stage. All sorts of strategies are taken, from illumination to the way the singer will move. But here he is, knealing down besides to a little girl and making her sing with her tiny voice... and just like you said, all go well.
What a beautiful experience for this little girl! This will definitely be one of her best childhood memories. Bruce was so great to stop the band and have her sing. He must be so proud to have fans of all ages. Just awesome! 🫶
I know the family and I can’t tell you how proud her parents are (especially the dad who is a die-hard Bruce fan) the first time we met like 5 years ago, he whipped out his I-phone and showed me this. This is the first time I’ve seen it not on his phone. Very sweet and extremely cool!

It is May 19th, 2021 & lost count how many times I have watched this! Truly touched me!!!! What an adorable little girl but Bruce Springsteen is so extraordinary!♥️
Years ago at the Fox in Atlanta Ga. The lighting guy came over and escorted me to the stage for a quick kiss. Definitely one of my favorite memories. It still makes me smile. I still love Bruce!
You were even lucky to get tickets to that. Love the Fox so many good shows I've seen there. I am so glad the city rallied around saving it. (For the uniformed, they were going to tear it down and build a parking deck!) Lynard Skynard got wind of it and performed and recorded their live album there. (One of the best live albums out there!) This started the movement and run of many premier artist booking shows there! Bruce was one of them as well as the Rolling Stones playing as The Cockrachs! It only seats around 4,500 people. I would always try to get tix in the seats above the entrances to the Loge. Like having a private balcony.
awwwww shes sooo precious and if you watch the video again look at the drummer and guitar players they knew soon as he looked at the girk what was up the smiles on everyones faces...and the tenderness shown by bruce....this...is..a priceless moment.
I have had the absolute honor and pleasure of witnessing that 3 times in person at Bruce concerts. He is an amazing human being and his concerts are beyond incredible. I get chills each time I see footage of his concerts, and especially how he makes some sweet child a star of his show. All I can say is . . . Bruce! Bruce! Bruce!
If you have watched other Sunny Day videos you will see that Bruce does pick at random a child to sing a few versus of the song. We were lucky that he did pick our granddaughter and we were very proud of her performance.

I saw him in 1987 in Gothenburg and I believe to this day that if it weren't for his having another concert he would still be performing! The concert was a 3-hour tour de force by a man who LOVES his fans and who LOVES to perform.
Love it! I have a 4 year old myself and if Bruce Springsteen ever did that to my child, I would be in tears. He's a legend. He is my first concert when I was 10 years old back in 1988.
In a few seconds you saw an artist at the top of his craft as a bandleader having total control of what his team is doing, and an icon who honestly appreciates his fans. Like a Boss, for sure.

This is so precious! I've just recently started listening to his music properly. The more I listen and watch his performances on youtube, the more I understand his appeal to the masses. His song writing is genius and his song just resonates and moves people.

I love watching Bruce with the kids, seen a bunch of 'em, this is definitely my favorite! His own kids haven't given him any grandkids yet, and I think the Sunny Day routine is his chance to play grandpa for a few minutes.

Been a Bruce fan since I was as young as Nevaeh. I used to roller-skate around my childhood neighborhood listening to a cassette of "Born in the USA." I'm 40 now, and I can say the best live shows I've ever been to were this man's. He's 72, and he and E Street still play - joyfully, energetically - for hours. Their love for the fans is as genuine as it gets.

I remember seeing this little girl onstage. My family and I were in the nosebleeds behind the stage that concert. She has the sweetest little voice!
and my brother was excited because Bruce had put the hat on that he threw up on stage and got it back. Bruce is Awesome!
