Hi Anna😊 my husband worked for the government & he was sent to Italy we lived there for a few years. I was able to visit a lot of Europe. Also he was sent to Japan and saw a lot of Asia. I loved it because I love to travel.
Even though you didn't owe any kind of explanation, i think you were very gracious of you to do so. I do think Ernie is very lucky that his company/employer does this for him. Love the apartment and how you have decorated it and love your taste in decor. Another thing we have in common besides knowing where Temecula and Fallbrook are is living in No CA, lol. I lived in Sebastopol in Sonoma county from 1969-75. Graduated high school there and Santa Rosa JC in Santa Rosa.
It is pretty lame that you have to explain to people how you afford things. You don't owe anyone an explanation! ....Are people that jealous? Tell them to work, save, and be frugal.

Anna, very generous of you to share so much of your story. I completely respect you doing that, but I also feel a little, 😵💫 that people ask you. We have a very similar story, sold just about all of our stuff before we left NY to move to NC. It was extremely freeing. It completely changed me as a shopper & what I decorate our home with. My husband too is in construction, he usually would end up in an Airbnb, & he had the same as Ernie with the company paying them to live there. XO for you being so open, vulnerable & transparent. But it's also ok to not.

Very well explained! My husband would change jobs in the Beverage business … Coca-Cola , etc. and he would have to go down and they had apartments for him to live in that the Company owned. I would get the thrilling job of packing up … putting the house on the Market and moving! Most places moved you and that was nice. So I kind of knew a little of it without asking … but just a different concept! Lol You have such a lovely home in Tennessee … and the apartment is very nice! You’re just so good! You’re a fabulous homemaker … and the story from when you were first married showed us that and oh my … can you cook! When you have a new vlog … I can’t wait to see it! I’ve had 4 homes built, 1 of which was custom…Hubs got laid off from high paying career…I sold everything, including my last build, so he didn’t have to worry about a mortgage over his head. Now in a brand new dbl wide 55 & older community. It is what it is & when I lay my head down ea night I am grateful for a roof over my head PTL!

Hey girl! Definitely this video was personal. It very much is practical to have the apt. Can you imagine how much it would cost Ernie to stay in a hotel, go to laundromat and eat out? heavenly days! I would never ask somebody about their finances. I figured that Ernie probably had a Perdiem or something like that with his job but seriously none of anybody’s business. You’re very gracious and open to answer questions though. I think you’ve made some good decisions financially and probably like the rest of us some not so good. But I know that you thank the Lord for everything you have and are so grateful. I feel that way too and I know apart from him I would be nothing or Have nothing. Hey girl! Definitely this video was personal. It very much is practical to have the apt. Can you imagine how much it would cost Ernie to stay in a hotel, go to laundromat and eat out? Probably be more than the apt. It’s not like you have it all foo fooie, just the basics. But it is a cozy, loving place for you both!
