Main challenge would be to keep those clamps in place, may b after a passage of time these clamps may slip down where the gap is smaller n sign would a tingling sound from the back. N u r right it is upsetting lowering a suv.
You yanks have it nice and easy. In Spain, it's illegal to modify your car without an official laboratory report. So for example, I paid €3,500 for the new wheels, tyres and springs (new 21inch MAKS, 4cm lowered with Vmaxx spings). Then I had to pay €250 for the lab to come and inspect, measure and photo graph the changes, then they gave me 6 pdf files totalling 95 pages, which then had to be put on a CD. Then I had to go to the equivalent of your DMV (I guess) to have the car inspected which involves it being inspected from underneath and measured again to make sure the heights match.
Liberty is a beautiful thing. Most 'yanks' would not appreciate this fact as much as you do. Hope all is relatively well in Spain otherwise. I've enjoyed some time there.
@@spottedeuros1529 Hey man. Can I ask you why you stopped? I am in the process of taking the leap, currently looking for an office space for the license.
Sorry Josh, I've been following for some time and this is the biggest fail I've seen you do so far. This cannot be safe or reliable. Cheap hose clamps on the springs that hold a 5000lb vehicle? I would not drive it like that.
Not good, you should go about it properly. I Don't think someone who buys an 4wd SUV should be lowering it as that is not what it's meant for, do that to a car.
Did you mean to publish this on Apr 1st?
I'm glad you didn't try zip ties!
I miss hearing Josh’s giggle and happy go lucky attitude, he reminds me of myself. We both make horrible decisions buying cars. 😂
Same i hate this gape between wheel and chassis it’s ugly to be that high i like them lowered just like a golf or a tiguan
Hey brother I love the content, Will you make a update video soon? Thanks!
Dude I like your style, we could be friends haha
Hey can you help me find a touareg with air suspension? Like the brown interior one you had.

I put new H&R springs and it's a big job, but it's worth definitely

We don't have to try to hit bumps there is plenty! Unfortunately not applicable on air suspension model... But we have all the levels!!😎
What engine have your touareg? V6?
