Love the channel Brian. The airflow tabs make sense. I have a pilot's license and many airplanes have these on their wings, they are called Vortex Breakers. As Julie stated, they are designed to break up vortices that induce drag. For airplanes, it reduces their take-off and landing speeds so they can get air born at lower speeds and land at slower speeds. This is often included in aircraft STOL kits (short take-off and landing).
That's really cool to hear, I've been doing some research myself. She was very excited about the product, we're gonna stay in touch with the results she's getting.

Nice job on making that interior space more cozy and welcoming. I wonder how that adhesive wallpaper mural would work on the interior ceiling of a normal Bushwacker teardrop (I have a 10HD). The surface isn't 100% smooth, so that might be a problem .. but it would cool to sleep "under the stars" in the teardrop .. any thoughts or opinions on whether or not it would stick on that surface are appreciated.
The wall surface has a bit of texture to it, pretend linen finish 😊 It is smoother than what is used as a ceiling in my BW. The adhesive seems pretty strong, sticks on well even over the seam/joint btwn wall & ceiling. It has traveled thru KS, OK, TX, NM, and back to MI without any spots loosening up. I'm pretty happy with it!
I have seen someone in the Bushwhacker Facebook group do that. Its been a couple years and it appears to be holding up great!

Why the shower cap over the smoke detector??? Never heard of that.
It stops the smoke detector from going off. She's basically saying that she trips the smoke alarm while cooking inside. Make sure to take it back off when you're done cooking!!
@@DIYOutdoorLife That’s what I thought but never had heard of the shower cap trick. Great idea though.
The smoke detector can go off if you are boiling water, high humidity days even, so I have the fan on most of the time, and the little cap while cooking or making tea. The cap is actually for covering dishes or canned food for storage in the fridge. Another great gift from a friend.

Not a Teardrop. This is actually a Canned Ham trailer. If you can stand up in it, it's not a Teardrop. Just keeping the terminology straight here. Not saying anything bad about the camper itself. Definition of a Teardrop is that you can not stand up in it, and it has an outside accessable galley. This trailer does not meet either one of those criteria. It's a canned ham.
I called them canned hams as well. 😆 I know there's several different camps on how we define these things, I like your distinctions.

@@DIYOutdoorLife By the way, just so you know when you hear it, Teardrop owners call all other campers that you can stand up in, "stand ups"... I am always intregued at how language evolves around certain hobbys and things. It's usually derived from common sense.
