drop time is die zeit, die die kamera braucht um von der horizontale in die Waagerechte position zu schwenken ;)
Normalerweise sollte das so ca 3 sec dauern.

Well, the brand is Steadicam. And the system is a Steadycam. So in this case its both correct. But indeed, most people do write it the wrong way! :)

drop time -> das System waagerecht halten und dann fallen lassen. (4:45min in dem Video). Die Kamera fällt hier viel zu kurz... das sollte so ca. 3 Sekunden dauern, um eine bessere Balance zu erhalten ;)

what is the difference between a grip handle and a Steadicam?. Which is better for me for short films? I have a Canon Vixia HG21.
Between Opteka X-GRIP and Manfrotto 585 ModoSteady? which do you recommend for short films?

@nightlifeshoot 4:42 die zeit die die camera braucht um von 90 grad auf 0 grad zu fallen ("Drop"). Soweit ich weis is eine gute zeit 2,5 sekunden, aber ich hab keine ahnung um ehrlich zu sein.
