I'm 65. I don't drink alcohol. I can physically out work the average 30 year old and younger and do these mild acrobatic stunts that most teenagers have trouble with.
And I'm a chronic insomniac. Doctors make my insomnia worrisome.

I was critical of Bryan's journey in the past. I thought he was eccentric and a bit "delusional". But he is attempting something nobody in medical or human history has ever done. He is trying to change the world and make it a better place. Who am I to judge? Seems I am the one who is in fact mentally ill. Going to work. Eating crap. Not exercising. I commend u Bryan for all your risk and adventurous spirit. I pray u be at peace.

The first major issue is the majority of people on this planet merely exist for their own gratification... Not much deep reflection there.... Another large group exist to gain power and control...
Artificial Intelligence sadly won't be solely used to benefit the human condition, it will be designed and engineered to inevitably replace it. For every two people like Danica and Bryan having deep and thought provoking conversation, there are ten thousand that wouldn't help their next door neighbor if they were starving.

Joy isn't something that comes from doing things or any aspect of the world. It's God's essential nature and is everywhere all the time. It's just that most people have their backs to it and are distracted by what's happening within and around them. Everyone has the ability to experience peace, love, and joy all the time.

Kudos to Bryan for having been through the lowest end, and then climbing up and out into the light. However, this is a marathon, not o sprint. Each time we fall(using the Christian vernacular) we climb again, depending on our personal resilience, back into the light(of understanding) and this cycle continues for eonian time. One day we may reach our radiant self in-toto and begin a whole new chapter. Until then, we can only be as the old percolating coffee pot, down with the dregs-and back to the sight glass, perpetually.

My mind gets him, my soul does not. For someone so measurably 'dialed', where is that sparkle in the eyes. Makes me wonder if the source of his previous chronic depression was ever explored outside of physiological hacks. Sorry to critique. I do admire his discipline, especially for sleep. LOL.

    Define "nutritionally dense"
What is that based on? Per calorie? Per gram? Which nutrient(s)? Do you get to account for the bad things that come along for the ride? Ice cream has nutrients in it that your body needs so does that mean ice cream should be part of the diet? Organ meats are gross and not healthy.
Also - nutrient dense doesn't really matter as long as you are getting all your nutritional needs met within the calorie range you should be eating for your age, gender, activity level etc. If you need 2,000 calories per day and you need to eat 2,000 calories per day to get all your micronutrients in that doesn't mean that if you can get all your micronutrients in foods that only total 1,000 calories that makes it the better options.

How did you measure the immaterial part of you or doesn't that exist? Seems to me everything he spoke about is based on human will alone, So through his will he is simply following his appetites and disregards spiritual goods because he doesnt get the "feel good" he receives from his fleshly brain. So in following his own good and disregarding the immaterial aspects of life he doesn't focus on those immaterial values and virtues such as truth, love, spirit, conscience etc,' because it does not follow the human temporal aspects that give precise feeling and perception through the measurable 5 senses.

I think Byron decided to fill his drive and need with what we see today. This is where he decided to invest in his passion today and along the way be open enough to share with the world.
People who are driven and need new challenges need to do “something “ , this is his “something”. And by the way it happens to be with “ultimate” health. If he decided to cash in on success and just move along and start another tech company we wouldn’t be having a conversation about “don’t die “ and Byron Johnson. Most people “work “ 40 hours a week for 40+ years , this has become his “work” ….
