hmm i must have gotten this issue really early on my 49 inch because when i got the problem on my old tv there was no info about it probably all the way back in 19 or 20. But thankfully i am a hoarder and didn't throw it out so i guess my brother can attempt to fix it, they have been using an old spare 32 inch for quite a while so if it can be saved they can have it :P
Man, I was thinking of giving this an attempt, but the results have gotten me discouraged. I watched another person do the repair though and he used suction cups to remove the LCD. Do you think that might have been feasible and less likely to cause damage?
Does it really make sense to repair? I mean, if these are failing prematurely and you simply replace with original parts, it will fail again in a relatively short time same as when new.
Good question. It does take many many viewing hours for the leds to go bad in the first place and I haven’t had a tv with a repeat issue. Therefore I’d say it’s worth fixing.
You did great dude , think that glass is just freaking fragile
Hello, can you tell me where I could get parts for a Hisense. Thanks
EBay

Give it a go! Take care though whichever way you do it
@@roderickho4281 Yep, I will. I ordered some replacement strips for my TV. Wish me luck!
Let me know how it goes!
Very nice . I have liked it.

How much would you charge
How much were the strips?
Is been a while but usually ~£30-50
Awww damn ..go through all that just for it to be damaged is so disheartening
It sure is, it’s a lesson learnt now tho :)
Is it just me, or are the leds still blue?
The cool colour of LEDs just means even good new LEDs look somewhat blue on camera
