I love magnets
if the LED light is broken which is meant to be the longest lasting 25.000 minimum, hours or 2.8 years, then something is wrong with the quality of LED"s used by Hisense, rubbish as most LED should last double that, no heat management behind the LED diodes denotes very poor quality
India so good your videos
I automatically subscribed to your channel even before watching the entire video bro, I like your delivery, concise and to the point👌👌👌👌👌👌 However your camera is too far man
Cheers thank you, I’ll take that onboard with future videos!
Thank you , i've managed to repair my hisense with your tutorial . I've changed all three strip led with new , so i hope this tv will last at least another 4 year, hopefully.
What could be the issue if TV is stuck in standby. If I disconnect the lcd panel the TV turns on and back lights. But with the panel connected it stays in standby
There may be a shorted smd capacitor on the lcd panel board
Hi My philips tv will turn on the first time after plugging it in. However if I turn it off and then turn it on again, it will not turn on. it only has red light after that. So i will unplug it for 30 minutes or more then replug it, it will then turn on again. Any ideas what could be the cause?
light did not set properly you can see a shadow in on it.
If I were to do all this work for a television repair it would not be on a cheap Hisense. Sony, Panasonic maybe. Never a Hisense. Time is money! A few more dollars and I can buy a new cheap Hisense. Garbage.
That was very useful, i managed to fix my Hiesense TV 55inch from following your above Video. A big thanks to you :)
That’s amazing. Really happy it helped you out!
I have the exact same model, hisense 43b7100uw. Had the same problem took it to a repair shop and it was fixed. However wifi now doesn't work, I was watching this video hoping that you'll mention anything about wifi module or something. I'm so confused cause it doesn't seem like they took the wifi module off since my motherboard looks exactly like yours yet my wifi isn't working anymore
Maybe the cables haven’t been reconnected between the WiFi module and main board. If you don’t fancy taking it apart to check the cables you could try and just use the Ethernet cable to a router
@@roderickho4281 i have no idea which is the wifi module. Where is it situated please, I have tried looking up a labelled main board with no luck
The Wi-Fi module is you do take the back panel off is to the right of the standby light and power bottom cable. The module is held in place with a screw to the body that would need to be removed before you cab remove and replace the module
You did great dude , think that glass is just freaking fragile
I have a few questions man please hit me when you get the chance
Thank you for your reply. It was a bit strange to me as well as sounds were okay but no picture was displaying.
After i change led panel it did not work i mean the led light did not flash light at all; in fact it was not flashing any light when i checked before putiing on new panel. But there was a blue tint at the very beginning. Now tv is all black and just sound is coming. Where did i go wrong? Your video helped me a lot though.
If your led strips are still accessible you can test each individual LED to make sure they work even though they are new. If those are fine then it could be an issue with the power supply board however this would be very odd since it was working with the previous led strips which were blue. My bets would be that something may not be fully plugged in and seated preventing the LEDs turning on. Check all your connections.
If you made a serious mistake and bought hisense, all you can do is unplug , throw this to trash, and buy normal tv. Costly mistake but lesson for all life.
That is unfortunately true. Hopefully just a batch of TVs with LEDs manufactured defectively for a run of time. We’ll see in the future
@roderickho4281 I had one and stopped working a few months after guarantee a week ago. Rubish , never again Hisense better wait and collect money for normal tv.
How much would you charge
Damn this is alot
No TV should live 3 years or less. Avoid this idiocy and do not buy this crap. Nor repair it. The hardware will die after 3 years again
Did you do this for LG 43UJ654T?
No however the steps are almost the same. Just parts are differently located
I tested all the led backlights and I found one that doesn't work anymore, but if I saw that some led lights is is more weak than others, do you suggest to replace them all ? And do I have to replace all the stripe or just the light ? Thanks !
Next steps I would check continuity between the power supply cable to the led strips and if still don’t turn on I reckon faulty power supply
Replace the whole set of strips for uniform lighting and also you don’t want to be stripping it all down again to change a strip again in the future
the issue I'm having is my red stays on and the tv wont turn on
Same ,did you get help?
@mpumimbuli705 Nope, I ask like 6 youtubers and none of them reply back to me so I just threw it away because I bought replacement parts and still had the solid red light
Tried everything for Samsung LN26B360C5DXZC...no luck...the standby light flickering when I press the remote or TV buttons but NO picture at all. Got a new Rogers Netbox today but still no luck...cheers from Canada....
It sounds like it’s struggling to turn on. I’d recommend searching your tv model number followed by power supply repair kit or even see if replacement main board and power supply board is worth replacing
Had it a year and it’s off to the tip. Cheap junk not buying Hisense ever again
can i get the model number of the backlights please
If you search up your tv model number followed by LED backlights you can find the model number of the backlights. I don’t have this to hand anymore
where do you order the power supply board from?
You can give searching the part numbers on eBay a go
@@roderickho4281I have the exact same tv as you what are the numbers I don’t want to take it apart until im ready to change it… my tv has the exact same issue
Silly question but where can I find big plastic sheets like the one you used to remove the screen?
I got this from dismantling a bigger TV. It’s a light diffusing sheet that sits behind the screen
u dont need plastic folil , only be careful
Wow got scared
Very unfortunate to not record the replacement of the LED light, kinda the whole point.
Check out the other videos on the channel. Changing the LED is the same prices.
Very nice . I have liked it.
Booo, how do we even know you fixed it when you didn't record the most important part?! Lol no way
I have the blinking red light when I try the flash light I see the Hisense android tv faint in the background
Can you use a LG tv backlight to replace the Hisense tv backlight with, will this work
No they are different backlights
Hi if a small section of the screen has vertical light streaks in the middle of the screen will it be leds as well
This cannot be determined without a picture of what’s going on
@@roderickho4281 HI can you send me your email address and I'll send you a picture of the screen or possibly your whats-app nr please
36 in Panasonic viera smart tv it won’t turn on red flashing lights how do I reset it 12:10
How do I take the old led lights off
Don't have a pool table to put the tv on.... Therefore aborted the repair attempt
Thanks. Watched your video, disassembled my h55b7100. It was last led busted (you have to get plastic lens off to test last led on strip because there is no pin on pcb for last one). Now I've ordered all replacement strips from ali for 10$. Thanks.
can i buy a new tv ?
Can you?
Another upload!
Another video this month!
Glad it worked this time! I have a Samsung TV with the blue screen issue. Would the issue likely be the LED strips for this one too?
Most likely!
Man, I was thinking of giving this an attempt, but the results have gotten me discouraged. I watched another person do the repair though and he used suction cups to remove the LCD. Do you think that might have been feasible and less likely to cause damage?
Give it a go! Take care though whichever way you do it
@@roderickho4281 Yep, I will. I ordered some replacement strips for my TV. Wish me luck!
Let me know how it goes!
We're its part 2?
It’s uploaded. You can find it in the channel playlists
I'll NEVER buy a Hisense again. 🤨 This must happen often for so many videos to be made about the same problem. My TV's not even 3 years old!
Not always the same problem, sometimes it’s capacitor issues. Sometimes main board goes bad. If you still have a Hisense tv, I think not using 100 brightness in settings would extend the tv life
Same. I bought 2 on sale 2 years ago. One for my room and one for my living room. The one in my room randomly stopped working and it’s annoying looking at all of these videos . Never again 🤦🏾♀️
This is a great video with a lot of information in it, but i have a seemingly simpler process. I simply take the tv out back, dump a clip into it and buy a new one. Eezy Peezy😉
Thank you so much, my wife found out about my affair and trashed my TV, luckily your video helped me to repair it!
No wonder these things fail after a few years - two rows of LEDs on a 50-incher? And this on a brand that boasts about being brighter than competitors - hmmm. Nope, I remain unconvinced of the quality of these Chinese sets, sorry.
Yep they work well and the screen does look good but they have a short lifetime as the LEDs are working hard
I'm not doing all that, I am not a TV expert
Can someone tell me what that electronic tool is called that he uses to see if there is anything faulty in the tv? It measures the volts...also thanks for the video you helped me figure out a few things wrong with my tv 👍👍
It’s a multimeter
@@roderickho4281 ok thank you sir
Ohm meter I think
