Wow, I was looking to try and repair my tv , all I need it hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of equipment and I will be able to do it .. Nice video though , thanks for sharing
COF bonding machines start around 1-1.5k£....local COF bonding services will be a buissiness of the future since TVs grown over the 50 inch mark because nobody will ship panels that large fragile like an egg shell around the planet for repair and a complete replacement costs 80% of a new TV. Maybe it's time to invest, I'm also thinking about it more and more because the number of customers asking for it is constantly rising here in Germany.

Very nice work. When you cleaned the joints with probably polystyrene, my little granddaughter thought that there was a bird somewhere :-) it made such a sound. A clever master.

Would this be the same process for a white screen display? Completely white no picture but sound.
Nice. I have a question, someone I do now has a samsung and the subtitle of a movie for example is unclear left and right of the lcd but oke in the middle, lcd of this tv is further quite good for his age, no cluading or backlight leaking. What I think is, it is the glass plate, when I look down from above I see reflection of the letters subtitle on that glass where is blurs but lcd itself is oke. Can I remove that glass or protection layer and clean it inside? thanks.

Nice video and thanks... Quick question, if just by wiping the TV screen , sometimes need a little more pressure by wiping the marks away.. will that damage the screen easily? Or they are quite flexible and durable
No problem with simple wiping, do not hit the screen with sharp objects, otherwise it will be damaged

Así reparé mi monitor de 32" que me había costado 355 €. Me compré esta máquina por 29.967 €, el flexo por 18 €, y listo. Merece la pena.

Excuse me, I'm a student in KSHS high school.
I am making a LCD monitor on my own, including A/D board, TCON, and LCD panel.
The A/D board and TCON will be made by dip ICs,
while the LCD panel will be obtained by the disassembly of broken monitor, and the COF of the panel will be removed.
And then I got stuck with the connection between TCON and LCD panel.
Since there will be hundreds of wires come from the source drivers and gate drivers of my TCON, I need to fix them to the LCD panel.
Is there any method or wires that can connect LCD panel to breadboard?

TL&DR: With current LCD panels -> NO
Only if the display control electronics connect at the backside of the panel, which is only commonly available on small OLED displays. LCD panels need edge connectors to access rows and coloumns while keeping the display area free for the backlight. Which means, that you can not totally get rid of the bezel, except you do a curved edge display construction, which practically bends connection surfaces for the control electronics to connect to towards the backside of the backlight. I don't see this as a practical and stable option for screens larger than 9" for LCD atm (OLED is a different kind of beast).
