- If your 4K flat screen TV is looking purple or blue after a while, it most likely just needs the backlight replaced. The backlight is made up of LED strips that you can order online for cheap.

Thanks dude! My father in law’s tv started doing this a year or 2 ago. So he swapped its room with the old 1080p. Samsung back in the living room again, and blue 4K Vizio in the bedroom.. I wondered.. has someone made this an easy fix? Do I even have to solder anything?

£132 in uk for them backlights can buy 4k tv new for that
My tv is hisence and the model number is 55N4. I dont know how many back light should needed to replace to get rid of blue light.please i need help.
If the blue tint is only slight, check under your advanced picture settings and make sure the colour temperature is not set to 'cool', try 'standard' instead.
