Thanks for this post :-) I was wondering how well those blanks worked. I use procreate (actual size) and trace my images (I have a cricut).

Thanks for introducing me to the Pixscan mat! I have it and I have uploaded the photo of my templates, but I could use some help on how to design the images to match the shapes. I can't seem to trace the blanks completely because the templates are white against the white mat. I hope this makes sense! Thanks!
You can use the draw a curved line tool and drop edit points around the image instead of tracing.
so what is the size of the earring you are using because i have those same ones just don't know the size, i am using cricut

@@SilhouetteSchool Thank you for responding. Do I need an upgraded version of Silhouette Studio to use the PicScan mat? Will it not work on the basic version? I don't know that I'm ready to invest in an upgraded version at this point in time.
The placing of the Blanks on Pixscan and then taking a picture....then upload to your canvas....can this be done with white paper? Then when I open it in my Canvas, do I have to resize it? Thank You
I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking if you can put a white piece of paper on the pixscan mat?
to do the knome do u have to have the printer znd paper? i have blanks but no printer yet so i can cut just shapes
Yes, the printer prints the sublimation transfer
I don’t have a cameo so I can’t use the pic scan. What size did the teardrops end up being? I know they’re 1 inch wide by 1.5 inch tall.

since I don't have a heat press, can a iron be used or can they be painted on I would like to know.. If, I known this I would never would brought them. to much trouble
An iron won't work for sublimation - too much pressure and heat required.

You don't need a Silhouette (or any) cutting machine to use a sublimation printer..but you CAN use them both :)

I don't have a specific preference. It really just depends on how I'm planning on decorating them!
So in this video you're using the "8 in 1" heat press? (The link actually doesn't take you to a press.) I saw in another video you got a new press. Other than size, what are your dislikes of THIS press in the video and do you have any massive pros or dislikes of the new one now that you have the 2 to compare against each other and have been using the "new" one for a bit?

We bought the small teardrop wooden earrings off of Amazon, used A-Sub sublimation paper (125G) they recommended when you buy the earrings, but we still are not getting them to work. Our earrings turn yellow and nothing sticks to it. Can someone help?
Did you peel off the protective liner?
If wooden try using polyacrylic and let dry before sublimation
Peel off the liner on both sides
Dont they fall off that hook only ?
You can squeeze the hook closure so they don't fall off
Every time I do these I always get ghosting on the second side, any help would be appreciated.
