    I love when you validate what I do with my crafts. I wish you had this tutorial up last year..it took me FOREVER to figure this out!

      It’s sooo tricky! I hated wasting so many ornaments! I got lots of tips from different videos but not all in the same video 🫠 hopefully people will find this video first!

    Many thanks for your video! I am thrilled that I can now offer my customers ceramic ornaments again. In the past I broke so many ornaments when using my regular 16 x 20 swing away press. Sometimes the first side would turn out great but the 2nd side would be faded. When I would adjust the pressure they would just crack. Wasted so much time and money, I can't thank you enough for sharing this video. You've just gained a new fan and a new subscriber.

    I bought the box of 25, so far I have gone through 10 with mistakes. Tried all different temps and time. Using clam shell, hippo ink, A sub paper. the tutorial was great just can't figure out what to do , so far this is $$ to try and get even one perfect. One side is lettering the other is a picture.

    Wow I bought some from JoAnn's - just did my first sublimation ever - they said 356 degrees for 80 seconds...definitely needed more time! I wish I saw this first! Thank you for your video!!

    Thank you for going through Adobe Illustrator. Just a great reminder of the process (steps) for making the design. It's hard to find a tutorial that starts with an Adobe program. Well done!

    Thank you for this super helpful tutorial! Now I understand why it’s best to press both sides at the same time! 💡 Just curious: if I decide to press one side at a time and place a a mini press pad or piece of wood on the already-printed side (facing up?), do you think it might help prevent that first side turning into a gaseous state? Thanks, again!

    That’s interesting.. I’ve pressed the sides separately a ton of times and there was never any bit of fading to the other side - but hey, you never know. I’d rather press both at same time though. I will def try. Thanks

      I got different results each time! But definitely best results do a single side ornament or both sides at the same time. It’s so crazy how there are so many ways to complete a project!

    Hi Jennifer. I've been making sub ornaments for a gift shop. I was asked if I can sublimate onto a plastic Christmas ball. I've tried two different kinds of vinyl but there's just too many wrinkles. Might you have any suggestions?

    Thank you for your sharing, based on your advice I have started selling Ceramic ornaments on etsy. However, do you have any advice on quality ormanent suppliers?

      Congrats on starting your Etsy store! For quality ceramic ornament suppliers, I recommend Merchize. In my experience, they offer high-quality ceramics, great printing, and fast shipping. Definitely worth checking out!

    currently have an original cameo and wondering if the upgrade to the cameo 5 is worth it? The cameo 5 bundle +designer edition is on sale for $279. Our primary use will be sticker making as my daughters would like to start their own little business but in reality it would just be a hobby of making stickers. Any help would be appreciated

    Sometimes you cut out the round hole or included it in the design and sometimes you didn't. Does it make a difference? The hole where you put the string through

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  Год назад

      I never cut it out! I just use it when designing my ornaments to ensure nothing is weirdly cut off :)

    I have the exact same heat press and my ornament burn when I leave them past 60 seconds . I don’t know what could be going wrong but I went through 2 box’s of ceramic ornaments I had to throw away and yes my ornaments are for sublimation. So I don’t know what I could be doing wrong even the padding burned underneath in certain places .

      @poolofjello 11 месяцев назад

      Maybe your heat press is not working correctly. It might be hotter than what you are setting it at. Just an idea I had after reading your comment.

    Also my black comes out brown and if I use brown it gives my whole ornament a beige hue to it please help !! 😢

      @Dannnnnnni11 5 месяцев назад

      If the black ink turns brown that means it's burnt. You're either doing it too hot or timing it too long
