I get the bulk of my books at the library now and through the Libby app. I rarely purchase a book these days unless it's a collector edition of something I love. I have unhauled thousands of books over the years. Now I bring a bag of books to donate every time I visit the library. Been doing that for a couple of years now and I'm still bagging it.
I've been using libby a lot more but plan to use that and the library most of next year! :)
@@alyxandriaang - Library is a game changer. You get the thrill of selecting and taking a book home - and then you can take it back and not have it gathering dust on your shelves. LOL.
Finding the Libby app literally changed my life and how I enjoy content. It's also saved me a lot of money 😂

I’ve been going through my books pretty regularly now, and noticed some of the harder ones to go through are my “classic YA” books/series. I’ve slowly gotten rid of a couple, but I definitely need to go through with a more clinical eye so I can clear up some space!

So sad about the Crown of Feathers unhaul! It's one of my favourite trilogies (each book is better than the last) but I totally understand getting rid of books you're not interested in!

@@alyxandriaang It's genuinely so good, the first couple hundred pages of book 1 are a bit info dumpy but it gets so good and I absolutely adored book 2 and 3, they were the easiest 5 stars I've ever given!

Her grandmother is from Israel. Which is controversial because of Palestine. SJM visited her grandma there and everyone is calling her "a Zionist" because of it. Her grandmother also served in the Israel army (which is mandatory for all citizens, so not really her fault). It's a big stretch IMO. Just because she visited her grandmother there 🙄
@@JulEnglefaris if that’s the case then no it’s not a stretch, Israelis been killing Palestinians for over 40 years in the name of ethnic cleansing. If she visited her there as if it was a normal thing to do then she approve of the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Thank god I never bought any of her books.
