(Zero, Bullet, etc) The primary difference in the tone is the change of guitar. He pulls out the Schecter for United States and it's the only song that he uses it with. The guitar has active Seymour Duncan Blackouts, and that's why it sounds so thick and powerful. So if you're after the tone, you're out of luck if your guitar lacks actives.

FOL wasnt MEANT to be felt on the same emotional level as the rest of SP's work. It's not selling out. It's written in a different way, with a different purpose. The only thing I'm angry about is how Today made its way onto a Visa commercial. If this was Billy's own doing, it's a shame. However, I also know he's at odds with his old record company, so it could be the result of that also. However, in any manner, I don't think he's sold out, just changed his logic, which he does frequently.
