His tail going at the vets was so precious. I can see why he got so many treats. Everyone loves him so much!
Haha until his temperature was taken 😂
@@SherpasDay Poor pup🙁
@@SherpasDay😂Yes, all dogs hate temperature checks. My Sadie always tried to sit down.
@@SherpasDay
Panic always comes easy to an owner of a senior pet. I’m sorry you are going through this, Jaime. I have lit candles praying for you and our favorite boy. 🙏 🙏
Yea it really does 😢
❤ So beautifully said Terry 👍❤
I know where you’re coming from Jamie! My 15 year-old Westie went downhill last week, went off her food for 48 hours, thought this was it! Took her to the vets, £400 in tests, there all day, just getting ready to leave and they offered her some food… ate the whole bowl and burped at me! 🙄🤦♂️ She’s back to normal now! These geriatric terrorists really put your heart through the shedder! 😆❤️
Aww so happy your baby is ok. Lol love the burp😂😂😂😂
Haha they're such terrors arnt they 😂😂
😂So glad she’s back to normal. When dogs age we’re constantly worrying because we love them so much.
@HughShower , that's great news! That must have been the most wonderful sound to your ears - the burp of a contented pupper! I'm so glad your beloved furbaby is doing well after such a scare. Give your 'geriatric terrorist' a big hug from me & tell her to stop giving her concerned dad such a scare! 😆🐶🐾🐶🐾
My only thought is all the years of happiness they have given me and how desparately I don't want to let them down.
Luckily, I have a really good vet who has been with me through the loss of 3 of my older kids and throughout the lives of my current buddies. He spayed/neutered my older female and younger male (the older male was a shelter cat). So he knows everything about them.
I know Jamie will take the very best care of Lord Sherpa no matter what. There is true love there.
Thank you for being so patient with so many concerned fans, and for caring for your furry buddy who means so much to so many of us.
Aw thankyou too 😊
@@SherpasDaythe whole world 🌎 loves you
@carguy4658 I couldn't have said it better myself!👍🏽
Lord Sherpa AKA Sherps AKA Sherpee AKA Batdog 🦇 means the *WORLD* to so many of us. Can't help but love them both!
Yep ! We love that boy
Yes! Definitely love Sherpa, and Jamie for being such a great doggy daddy.❤❤❤❤
Most of us will never meet you and Sherpa but, we all care about you both and want Sherpa to be a happy, healthy boy.
My 11 year old husky started sounding weird when she barked so I took her in, lymph nodes in her neck were swollen, Lymphoma. 8 months and 17,000.00 dollars later, we had to say goodbye. They said without treatment she would have been gone in 2 weeks. We had 8 good months together, cuddles, talkies, zoomies and many many conversations. Worth every penny.
Sorry for your loss! I'm glad you got the extra time with her.💞🌈
@@helenHTID she was by my side 24/7 from day 1. I actually had to pull it from my retirement. I know a lot of people though I was crazy but I promised her as long as she was having good days, we wouldn’t stop. Sadly, she did get to the point where treatment wasn’t working and she started to struggle. It was then , we let her go. I don’t regret one second or penny. She will always be the best friend I ever had. I can say I am truly blessed to have had her as long as I did, even though I’m still heartbroken without her.
@@Ginger11111 They depend on us. We don't want to let them down. So sweet
@@helenHTID I think that goes without saying. I was meeting this pet owner where they were.
So true! If her treatment wouldn’t have given us more time or would have caused her pain, I never would have put her through it. It’s different for all of us. What matters is we give them the best life we can. I’m so sorry you had to say goodbye to your Susie. It’s an awful thing to go through and we never seem to fully recover from a loss like this. On the other side, we get to experience a connection with another soul unlike any other and maybe one day, depending on your beliefs, get to see that look on their face, that they only get , when they see us.
Our pets getting older is not easy, we start second guessing every symptom! Sherpa is in best hands with you Jamie 😊
Saying a prayer to St. Francis. Your vet must love all the "consults" she is getting from around the globe! Sherp has so many aunts and uncles! Thank you for being such a loving and conscientious two-legged partner to Sherp.
Yes, that poor vets, probably ready to scream into the sky. But you never know. Somebody’s suggestion might click something in her brain and knowing everybody around the globe is watching certainly can’t hurt. Hahahahahaha. You tubers can become a massive force.
As a follower of Jesus I pray to Him for sherpa.
Sometimes, it can help Jaime to ask medical questions that he would never have thought of, on his own. He is learning as he goes, about taking care of a senior dog with medical issues.
I am 69, and don't know all the right questions to ask my doctors.
@@susanhopkison3363 Yes, I pray that our Lord and Savior will protect and heal our Sherpa. All of my dogs that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge are now with Jesus. I’ll see them again one day. God bless you my friend.
Prayers and love. Vicki and Huskies from USA🇺🇲❤️
When your pup gets older, you start second guessing everything. Every hiccup, grunt, whine, cry makes you want to get him in the car and head for the vet. Jax has his good and bad days and the bad days have me up all night watching him to make sure he's okay. I totally understand where you're at with Sherpa. Keeping both of you in our thoughts and prayers. 💖🐺❤️🍑
I understand completely. When my golden retriever had pancreatitis I sat beside her all night to make sure she was ok. I think she got tired of me staring at her. 😂 Hope your fur baby is doing well.
@@Debra.Justicethank you. The sad thing is at 14 1/2 he won't really get better, just slowly get worse. I promised him when I rescued him I would do everything I could to give him the best life and he's lived like a king for the past 11 1/2 years. Hope your baby is better too.
@@Jaxthewonderhusky Thank you for rescuing him and giving him a safe, loving home. Unfortunately, my Sadie passed away 16 years ago. I still cry when I look at her pictures. At the time there was pet food being sold in the US that was made in China. It was contaminated and caused kidney failure. There were millions of dogs and cats that died. I felt responsible because I’m the one that suggested the food for her. I loved her so much and miss her terribly. They sure leave paw prints on our heart. 🐾❤️
@@Debra.Justice that is 100% not your fault, you had a reasonable expectation it would be safe, so you can't blame yourself. ❤️. I remember when that happened with the food. I'm so sorry for your baby and I hear you. My Indy passed 15 years ago yesterday. I still cry over him. Sounds weird but Jax was conceived right around the time Indy died. I like to believe Jax got Indy's soul. They are so much alike.
@@Jaxthewonderhusky That’s awesome because Sadie was born about the time our other dog, Lonesome, died. I always felt God took our baby knowing He would provide another one for us to rescue and love. After my Dad passed away my Mom and I moved in together. We rescued Sadie from Tennessee Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. We spoiled her. She even had her own sofa. She fell asleep with her head in my lap one afternoon and I wouldn’t move until she woke up. 😊 I don’t have a dog now because of bad health but I sure miss having one. That’s why I get so much joy from watching Sherpa and K’eyush. I love them like they’re mine.
His sweet face when stuck in traffic was too cute.
😊😊
❤ No one can do more than you do my friend. Sorry about your worries from all the comments and sorry for Sherps having taking his temperatur again 🤭❤❤
Aw thankyou Anette 😊
Awe poor Sherpa.😢 Medical issues suck, don't they sweet angel. Get well soon. Cuddles and kisses😊 Jamie those are lovely plants.
They'll look great won't they 😊
You are the best dad Jamie. Prayers for everything to be alright for our sweet Sherpa 🙏
Aw thankyou Lori 😊
There's Sherpa jumping on the seat like a youngin'❤ Makes me smile every time. Thank you Jamie for letting us know!
Haha its lovely to see isn't it 😊
I always laugh when he pops his beautiful furry head up and says “sup”.
❤
Good dad, senior pets need special food and vitamins,I had a cat cross almost 19 yrs
It's so sweet how he jumped up to you in the van when you were talking about him. Sherpa understands every word Jamie 😂😂❤️
I felt that he knew Jamie was sad and was like dont worry.
Jamie, I know you’re worried, hopefully the antibiotics will help Sherpa’s throat.
Glad you were able to still arrive early for the play date with Nook!
Those bushes will look lovely along the fence!
Hope you’re having a great day!
Hugs to you both 🐕🦺💙
Thankyou JanS 😊
glad to see he has a healthy appetite - especially for treats
Ha that'll never go 😂😊
At 8:30 you said someone said their dog had this & Sherp jumped up to look out the windows to see what dogs you are talking about! Such A Smart Boy!❤
Oh Lord Jamie I didn’t want you to panic honey. I’m glad you got it checked though, we all just want the best for him.
I know what it is like with a senior doggo though. I’m sorry he had his temperature taken no one likes it being taken that way. ❤❤
I was not expecting shrubs
I always worry and over think ha
Lucky Sherpa had done a poo before vets😂extra cuddles for you, Sherpa. Hopefully nothing too serious with him. His expression when sat in traffic queue said it all. Lovely play day with Nook and family🥰❤🥰🐾🐾🐾🐕
Haha he was holding it in 😂😂

The world loves you, Sherpa. 🙏🏽 You bring joy and happiness to all.
His tail is wagging! We love you Sherpa❤!
Aw thankyou 😊
I always panic when I think my dogs are sick. It's a terrible feeling to know something is not right and they can't tell you what it is. Never a bad idea to go with your instincts and take them to the vet. So glad he will be alright.
Today is my cat's birthday. He is 17 today. He has been so awesome I worry about everything. We also worry about Sherpa and Key. Life is better with them. You too Jamie.
❤ Happy Sherpa saw the vet. Does Sherpa feel better about harnesses now? Sherpa has so many people loving and worrying about him. Let's all send Sherpa positive energy and our ❤.
Aw thankyou 😊
I love Sherpa as if he’s mine. Never thought I could be so attached to a dog I’ve only met through videos, but here I am. I just wanna reach through the screen and cuddle him.
It's obvious how much you love him❤. He's such a lovely boy and you take such good care of him. He's living his best life because of you ❤
Thankyou deanna 😊

Nice that it was something that could be treated & that our boi is doing fine...Sherp is looking frisky, alert & happy & that is always good...Good precaution to check his thyroid, should be routine...😊 Good for folks who know to give you feedback...sometimes we do not see things that others can...that is the advantage of having an "extended family"...😊 Blessings to you both....
Yea its so lucky people mentioned it 😊
Thank you to all the fans who suggested ailments. All just concerned about our fury friend and for making Jamie think and take Sherpa to the vets. Praying his voice and eye get better soon.
How can you see that adorable fluffy face and not give loads of treats? Sherpa is so loved 🥰
Having just lost my husky at age 9 - suddenly - and having a 14-year-old Norwegian Elkhound at home? "Panic" is kind of our default mode. I totally get what you're going through. Husky Hugs to Sherpa and to you!
Our 13 year old husky had an adrenal tumor. She was too old for surgery. She was given 2mg melatonin twice a day which helped slow her water consumption down some. She wasn’t in pain except for arthritis. She died almost 2 years ago. We miss her terribly. Love him as much as possible while you can.
I love Sherpa so much!!! I'm glad he's getting more treatment! We are so blessed to know him! 🐶❤️
Sherpa looks so cute on his bed. That's a nice, supportive bed.
Been a shelter volunteer Jamie, completely understand your anxiety about Sherps! Glad you took him back and went down the list with the vet, being thorough with any dog is always best, glad Sherpa enjoyed his play date!
I’ve been watching Sherpa for a few years. If ever there was a ‘good boy’ Sherpa is him.
Saying prayers for Sherpa, and some for you Jamie. Sending positive thoughts your way.
Aw thankyou 😊
❤
All my best to Lord Sherpa...I feel ya, I keep worrying a bit about my 16 year old Silky (who still goes for mile walks and plays like a puppy). I just tell myself "stop putting her in the grave, she clearly wants to enjoy life, so let her be." I think she'll outlive us all sometimes. :)
Yea thats exactly what I keep telling myself too 😂😂
I do the same with my 11 year old rescue cocker. It is so hard not to worry. Mine is having some surgery Nov 20, and I am a wreck. 🙏🙏🙏

Jamie, bless your heart. You’re the best dog Dad and I know how you worry. Your friends around the world love you and Sherpa and I’ll be praying for you both. Btw, love the new plants. Sherpa had a good excuse not to help carry…no thumbs. 😉 Much love to you both from Tennessee USA. 🥰🐾

Sherpa running up like 'I know you're talking about me!! Here I am!!'. So cute.
PLENTY OF REST ...let him sleep to heal this week, and he will be right as rain! Plenty of prayers 🙏 ❤️ for Sherpie
Poor Sherpy, I hope the vet said your voice was just a little "raspy" and there was nothing more to it.😥
I'm excited to see what the blood test says and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything is okay.
It's so nice to finally see a playdate with Granny again.❤
Sherp and Dad are clearly enjoying their time.

Mr. Sherpa and 2 legged Dad are Living the Greatest and Lovingly cared for Fun Life !
This happened to me very recently, my 3 year old german shepherd developed a cough. Called the vet she could be seen in a couple of weeks. I thought it was allergies, so that was fine. Someone told me that a cough is a sure sign of congestive heart failure!!!!!!!!!! Of course, rushed to the vets and she has allergies.... Thank goodness!!! Know how you feel....
My senior lab grand-dog developed a cough and it was his heart. Same with a furbaby I had growing up. We also found a harness was all around better than a collar.
Rather be safe than sorry 🥴
Best of luck Sherpie! Hope you feel better! Your garden needs patrolling!
Haha it does 😂
We love you, beautiful Sherpa, & you mean the world to us. Sending you all our love & the very best wishes & hoping that it is nothing of too much concern. Jamie, stay strong. As a pet parent, too, I understand all your concerns when our furbabies are unwell, especially when they start to get older & experience the difficulties of aging. My family in the United States has two huskies, one was a rescue husky, pure white with blue eyes, the other, from a breeder because he has a hernia, he had them relatively inexpensive. He has the wolf markings with blue eyes; we also have a Belgian Shepherd and a Norwegian shepherd.
I can't imagine the anguish that you're going through with Sherpa; he's a beautiful dog.

We love watching your videos Jamie and my son and we adore Sherpa 🐾 hope all goes well at vet now.
I think viewers need to understand he is 13 yrs (74 yrs in human yrs) and he already has health issues. It should be of concern when he stops eating, drinking and is abnormally lethargic … meaning more so than usual. I really haven’t seen much of that with Sherpa … and he’s still got puppy mentality on occasion … which he wouldn’t have if he were really sick.
He’s still very much enjoying life … and has a love relationship with food!
Thanks for sharing that Jamie … you’re a conscientious dad!
So pleased he is okay. He is such a lovely boy and it is horrible when they aren't well.
Prayers, love, and so, so many hugs for our boy. ❤
