Jamie looking back at videos of Sherpa, and I saw this one. The summer home wasn't up yet, and I can't believe how time has passed because I watched you build the summer house and Sherpa's spot. Beautiful memories. Hope you're coming along 🫶🐾🐾🦋
NO! NO! NO! to the slabs. Let Sherpa have his entire garden-he loves every inch of it. Plus all that grass is luxurious. It would be such a shame to lose it.
The two reds back together again ❤❤ all is well. Sherpa patrolling and taking it all in. Love this boy so much. Mickey is so adorable bless him, they're good friends. Love you beautiful boy 💙💙🐾🐾
Methinks you might regret not having lovely cool green grass close to your home during hot summer days - a patio can get really hot and unpleasant when it is too big and have no shade trees around it.
Awesome to see Sherpa come & wake you up in the morning. It used to be the other way around. Your home is now complete… Big Red & Little Red are both in your driveway! Since you’ve settled into your new home, it seems like Sherpa has more energy & is completely content & couldn’t be happier! Stay safe, happy & healthy! 🐾❤️🐾 The patio idea sounds great!
Jamie you may want to consider, making a spot for your own compost. Now that you are a home owner. It can come in handy for gardening later. Love the idea of more patio space.🐾👣🍀
You might want to consider not collecting the clippings. Here in the US most people don't collect them, just let them discharge back onto the lawn where they break down naturally. You do have to mow regularly so you don't leave big clumps.
@@Cozycountry1 Oh, that's cool. In America we call them rain barrels. We get mosquitos in them, but if you are clever; you put some goldfish in them to keep the skeeter population down.

Dad always has fantastic ideas and every time in the video the new home becomes more comfortable and beautiful.😊😊 Have a great Wednesday buddy💙💙👊👊
Since you asked what we thought about the plan, I'll share that I think that's too large of an area to cover with slabs. I think Sherpa likes lying in that grassy area because it's within sight of the door. If you cover that grass he would have to lie farther away to be in the grass.
It seems that everyone has an opinion on what you should do with your home. Since it is yours and Sherpa’s you should do what makes you happy. Just love Sherpa and keep both of you healthy and happy
It amazes me how you can do things with one hand while the other holds your recording device. I am not that coordinated at all. Love and Light to you and Sherpa!!😊
Love the patio idea! I know it's probably way down on the priorities list, considering you've essentially only just moved in and the price point is a bit high, but - have you thought about doing some landscaping before? Maybe a few spots of shrubbery/tall growing plants that can provide a bit of additional shade for Sherps? (I won't mention trees because those are just exorbitantly expensive, beautiful as one would be in your field.) Bet the birds and other animals would appreciate it, too!
So good to see Big Red back! Re the patio - would you consider cutting across the corner, rather than doing the whole “square”? Would still give you room for fire pit and BBQ AND be a bit cheaper too! It’ll look fab and be very useful regardless xx
Patio sounds like a brilliant idea, have you thought about a small raised vegetable area knee high ( with brick surround). Carrots, potatoes etc are easy to grow and you could use your lovely grass as compost (the bit Sherpee hasn't weed on) if you had the time. They wouldn't need much looking after.
Great idea! Extended patio for placing the grill and fire pit on stable ground and a nice solid base for some lovely new comfy outdoor seating. And the raised garden for growing some veggies and herbs. I can picture it all in my mind. It would be awesome!
