Wunderschöne Aufführung dieser kompakten doch perfekt komponierten Ouvertüre mit gut vereinigten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen aller Instrumente. Der intelligente und talentierte Dirigent leitet das ausgezeichnete Orchester im lebhaften Tempo und mit dramatischer Dynamik. Alles ist wunderbar!

Yea, He stole the whole opera! Common, don’t you know, most composers borrowed themes from others, creating their own variations. Huge numbers of compositions, especially symphonic, operatic and vocal were reworked national, folk melodies.
Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky brought Marseilles into their symphonies for characteristic themes, etc
