we had to hear this part in school over and over again but I liked it every time. Thanks to my teacher for music I began to like classical music. He died two years ago I wonder if he knew that he had a strong influence on us kids...
like we all didn't already know he is one of the towering composers of all time, artists of all time, a genius who had the entire piece composed in his brain before he even started notating it on paper. He himself described the writing as the boring part, like taking dictation. His music is organic, like it already existed in nature before he plucked it out of the heavens.
I love this overture and the way it sounds! In fact, some parts are very fun to play. I played this with the Waltham Philharmonic for the first concert and I was there playing clarinet!
What a fantastic 6+ minutes! It doesn't get any better than this. The best version I've heard of one of the best pieces of music ever written. And in Salzburg too. Perfect!
Happy Birthday! Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on 27 January 1756 to Leopold Mozart (1719-1787) and Anna Maria, née Pertl (1720-1778), at 9 Getreidegasse in Salzburg. This was the capital of the Archbishopric of Salzburg, an ecclesiastic principality in what is now Austria, then part of the Holy Roman Empire.[4] He was the youngest of seven children, five of whom died in infancy
absolutely Brilliant what a great performance , thanks a lot for a further one of the melodies and composer the world never forgets....nice greetings from Vienna 💞
Actually, this is like the 1812 overture but without cannons, and this piece is also written in the sonata form. 0:00 Introduction 1:07 Exposition, first subject 2:05 Exposition, second subject 2:42 Mini coda Unlike the normal sonata form, the whole exposition is not repeated 3:03 Development 4:27 Recapitulation, first subject 5:17 Recapitulation, second subject 5:52 Coda
0:00 - 0:011 always reminded me of 1812 Overture. And when I looked up Tchaikovsky I found out his favorite composer was apparently Mozart! He must have been inspired.
Finalmente. Che scelta di tempo! E subito pronto ad attaccare l'allegro seguente. Bellissimo! Senza "pacchianate", misurato, incisivo. Preciso. Giusto. Così.. Mozart.
congrats, you made me switch headphones...so rarely I find something that makes me want to break out the Lambda-Pro on youtube. Edit: mind uploading this in a decent bitrate?
When I first heard this piece, I thought the part in 3:04 was played by an organ. Edit: Apparently it was played by flutes, oboes, basset horns, bassoons, horns, and trombones
: Clementi Sonata in B-Flat Major, Op. 24 No. 2 mozart l'aveva dichiarato comunque....
Probably to make their sound carry better out of the orchestre pit. The higher the tone of an instrument is, the easier the sound gets blocked/reflected by obstacles.

👏👏👏👏👏
December 21, 2020 in COVID pandemic lockdown. Enjoying this timeless classic.
Wonderful consolation for being lonely and missing the kids. Saves my spirit. Thank you for this great music...
Months away from death, and he writes this. If I was asked to describe joy, I would direct the person to this work to start.
Now THAT is the correct attitude, stature, energy, poise and grace with which to conduct this piece. Brilliant conductor
what an absolute banger, my boy big Mo at it again
He enhanced Clementi's theme.
what theme?
I love this overture and the way it sounds! In fact, some parts are very fun to play. I played this with the Waltham Philharmonic for the first concert and I was there playing clarinet!
Awesome. Can't stop listening to it over and over again❤
Just rewatched Amadeus. His music is sublime.
This vivid melody is comfortable to the ear
There is only one, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, only he could make this beauty
Heart & Soul Mozart adapted a theme of Muzio Clementi and crafted a masterpiece of sublime dimensions
Perfect little overture. Wolfgang at his best..
I heard this piece at the radio. I've fallen in love with it ever since.
I am mesmerized by this Mozart's Masterpiece
Mozart will always remain as a genious - also in 500 years ...
just and just and just mozart, never born like mozart in this world. i love him forever. he is my first favorite charecter😍
what an impressive work by my beloved mozart:) awesome:) love it so much:)
the dynamics range is what really stokes me...it highlights the difference between great performers and absolute masters
It is like the 1812 overture, but without cannons
Meraviglia immortale...senza tempo
I just love this overture....
magnificent
What a fantastic 6+ minutes!
It doesn't get any better than this.
The best version I've heard of one of the best pieces of music ever written.
And in Salzburg too. Perfect!
Grande Version , Grazie Maestro Muti !

What a Fuck DRAINTHE SORROW
- Sorrow
It's one of my favourite musical pieces
The authentic preamble to a work with such a deep theme.
Very nice indeed. Brisk yet perfectly expressive. Superbly executed by all.
absolutely Brilliant what a great performance , thanks a lot for a further one of the melodies and composer the world never forgets....nice greetings from Vienna 💞
Clementi Sonata B flat Op 24 Allegro con Brio.
Mozart geted the idea from Clementi
Actually, this is like the 1812 overture but without cannons, and this piece is also written in the sonata form.
0:00 Introduction
1:07 Exposition, first subject
2:05 Exposition, second subject
2:42 Mini coda
Unlike the normal sonata form, the whole exposition is not repeated
3:03 Development
4:27 Recapitulation, first subject
5:17 Recapitulation, second subject
5:52 Coda
Many thanks, Danny, for your insightful explanations.
Chills down my spine. I adore Mozart.
Look at the flute guy, he will entertain you for life lol
The absolute beauty.

Thank you for your posting and wonderful performance
Always beautiful to listen to. 🥰👍
best moodchanger
Hope to find this on the Fm radio today the 5 August 2020 OSM present.
Three nice singing ladies have never come to my rescue and told me how handsome I am.😄
Not only does the soloist have a GREAT voice, but her affect while singing makes it all the more enjoyable!
You must be watching a different clip cause there's no soloist singing in this 6.27min clip.
???
1. There's no singer here
2. There are multiple soloists in this opera
belo , belisimo. Pura energía de inspiración .
Mozart il numero 1!
Magical!
0:00 - 0:011 always reminded me of 1812 Overture. And when I looked up Tchaikovsky I found out his favorite composer was apparently Mozart! He must have been inspired.
It's possible. Just like the first few seconds remind some of us the Russian national anthem :)
Que hermoso viva Mozart❤
Yes, one of the best composer ever shown on this planet.
Impresionante,,!. C. R. ALBA.
Ser gut. Brilliant, as It should be. Assumes the position of Overture. Seemingly Mozart. Bravo!
Finalmente. Che scelta di tempo! E subito pronto ad attaccare l'allegro seguente.
Bellissimo! Senza "pacchianate", misurato, incisivo. Preciso. Giusto. Così.. Mozart.
Wonderful ! ❤
03:29 to 04:04 my favorite part. Such a sad fragment, just breaks my heart every time I heart it. ❤

Agreed but the order is wrong - Without Bach, neither Mozart nor Beethoven would have been possible.
I agree with two thirds of that. But Beethoven. Eh...
and Chopin
Magnificent execution and music, beautifully... Beautifully!
Muti rules in Mozart

Many of Mozart’s most prolific works were in E flat. Perhaps it was his favorite key.
beautiful thoughts!

Magic Mozart, realmente. luz espiritual.

Posting a list saying: BEST composers ever under this video automatically makes me think that you have absolutely no idea about classical music.

Curious how the 1st violins and 2nd violins have switched places. 1st violins are inside, while 2nds are outside
