    So my recruiter told me that if I don’t pick a job at meps that I would half to talk to the office commander and basically discuss why I didn’t pick a job that day it that just like a pressure tactic?

    • @KelloTheArtist
      @KelloTheArtist  Год назад +2

      That's definitely a pressure tactic! You might have to tell them why you didn't pick a rate but that shouldn't be a bad thing cause at the end of the day they need you and if you don't see something you like they can't force you to pick

      Boot camp is really just a mind game so don’t let it get to you too much, pay attention in A school it’s a lot of information, and if you pick overseas when you get the duty selection sheet (japan specifically) you’ll most likely end up overseas so think about it.

    i heard there a program for low asvab score, that i can join now with a 20 score. and when you pick your job is it guarantee you get it or is it whatever the navy needs ?

    • @KelloTheArtist
      @KelloTheArtist  Год назад +1

      The asvab requirements just changed to help recruitment but I assume it’s the undes program which you’ll get the option to choose later based on the needs of the navy but you’re still limited cause some rates need 50+ to be able to choose them

    To be a sea bee or a seal do I need to score high on my asvab test not physical I’ll pass that , great vid I’m looking to go to the navy but I want to be more in the battle field which I know navy is not really like that

    • @KelloTheArtist

      I don't know much about the field deployment units but i do know some seabees... Im not completely sure if the score mattered but they scored pretty well.

    I leave on Feb 7 as an AO. Please tell me that I am not going to regret picking this rate…..and also am I allowed to be working on the shores more then ship or do I have to do both.

    • @KelloTheArtist
      @KelloTheArtist  Год назад

      I don’t know much about AO but you can see the sea/shore rotation on navy cool and since it’s a air rate I think time in squadrons attached to ships count as sea time but I’m not completely sure

    I have no interest in joining the navy. You just spin in it in an interesting way.

    Im undes now and I don’t want to pick a rate

    • @KelloTheArtist
      @KelloTheArtist  Год назад

      That’s not a bad route… as undes you get to pick I believe after 2 years but you also get auto advancement… I’ve seen undes make rank faster than some people that go it with a rate and be happier cause they got to try stuff out before committing to one rate
