Really enjoyed this review ladies. I was with you on all of it!!!!!
    Such a great discussion.
The USA vs UK book…. I heard it on my audio whilst sitting In the uk, but couldn’t read it in the book! Super odd…. But I get it!
It was a beautiful, raw and emotional book!!!!
    We love you Lisa. ❤
    THANKYOU for sharing.

Hi ladies, enjoyed the video. Makes a refreshing change to have such sensible and considered and insightful opinions about the book. There is way too much click bait out there for my liking! I found the book extremely moving and by the time I finished I was extremely drained emotionally. I learned things I didn’t know, I had some things I had suspected confirmed but one thing that came through loud and proud was the love that Elvis and Lisa shared in those 9 short years. Lisa was such a strong woman, even if she didn’t realise that herself. I found SO many times I was saying out loud OMG that is SO Elvis! The fact that she tried to recreate the atmosphere she remembered at Graceland for her own children says so much. Elvis was a provider, Lisa was a cared but they were both searchers. Lisa was searching for that unconditional love she got from her Daddy and the only place she really found that was with her children. And boy she was a wonderful Mama.
I thank Lisa and I thank Riley for allowing Lisa’s voice and truth to be heard. ❤
Ps. I’ve had hose conversational dreams about my Dad and my late husband….they are wonderful and very comforting.

I can appreciate the book for what it is, but it still felt a bit unfinished. It would have been nice for some insight as to why she drifted away from the Smith family. There was no mention of Lisa and Pricilla’s time with Mike Stone, even though it was a key relationship that factored into Elvis and Pricilla getting divorced (not to mention it later came out Elvis was close to having him whacked). I also would have liked to hear a little more about EPE and her decision to sell a large portion of that, and how that arrangement works. On the whole, though, I’m glad it was published and it gives us a better idea who Lisa was and what she went through.

I understand where you're coming from and I'd agree with the criticism if it werent for the circumstances, but I believe if Lisa Marie had more time to write this book, naturally more details would be included. Also I'd say that lot of those things dont lie with Lisa to answer, like Priscilla and Mikes Stone's relationship, in my opinion.

Mike Stone : maybe no need to rehash her memories as 4yo when she told her daddy that mommy & Mike were "wrestling in the sleeping bag". She ended up suing her Trustees Priss & Seigel over that 85% dump and the money they stole from her.

There was no mention of Billy Smith Elvis first cousin. Lisa Marie had a falling out with the Smith family. Lisa Marie stated she wanted nothing to do with the Memphis Mafia.

If anyone has read the Lisa Marie book from here to the great unknown. As the young or older fans noticed, Lisa stated. Her wicked witch mother Priscilla had sex with Elvis when she was 18 years old not 21 years old? As an Elvis fan for over 63 years I always believed that Elvis and Priscilla only had sex, on their wedding night. Which was the 1st of May 1967.

Nice talk. But Priscilla was not young as a mother back then. This can't be a justification, sorry. My mother had me at the same age that was pretty normal back then, but the difference is that she wanted me and a family. Priscilla always had other ambitions than having a family with Elvis. She was only waiting for her slice of spotilight and maybe her own career.

I agree that Priscilla was really not a young mother for the time period. Now it's seen as young, but it was normal for back then especially. As is mentioned in the video, Gladys was the same age too and yet didn't seem to have the same issues being a mother. I'm not sure why Priscilla is the only one where her age is a big deal, like it was some unusual thing that affected her into her late 30s. (Not talking about just this video! Just commenting in general. Loving it so far).
