In today's video I test every North American Xbox game to see which actually run in 1080i and 720p, enjoy!
Corrections and Clarifications
007: Agent Under Fire has 480i for shooting sections and 480p during driving
NCAA Football 2K3 outputs 720p during it’s frozen black screen
Sega GT Online has 720p menus but 480p gameplay
Star Wars: Republic Commando will only run in 480p with Widescreen disabled
Street Hoops is true 720p but the aspect ratio is 4:3 instead of 16:9
Syberia will output 1080i if 720p is disabled, however it is upscaled 480p and displayed at the wrong aspect ratio
Heroes don't wear capes...
They have a complete collection of North American Xbox games
Even Futurama!?
I gotta say. Thank you for painstakingly going through the entire North American Xbox library to find this out. Must have been a long process.
You're welcome, it was! 😊
That wall of Xbox games looks heavenly.
"[...] I have a full north american Xbox set."
Holy shit dude, how much did that cost?
Around $3.5k cash plus $1.5k in trade. I imagine it might be closer to $6k today as finding $.99 Xbox games is tougher than it used to be.
implantgames
Probably closer to 10k$ (USD) today.
I own the whole set too. I finished it few years ago it wasnt that pricey
Thanks for doing this, you rock! recently went on OG XBOX 720p binge.. discovered Freedom Figthers - what a blast!
Freedom Fighters seems like it could be a cool little title, sadly I've never spent much time with it.
Yeah Freedom Fighters was a blast, had it on Gamecube.
Such a unique and cool video idea! My eyes stretched super wide when you showed your collection!
Excellent work Kris ! It’s great to finally have the definitive list for North America. Thank you for your time and effort to compile them. Always a true fan of your work An skills. Have a wonderful weekend
The original Xbox was released ahead of its time being the first game console to have High Definition display (720p and 1080i) and I bought the Xbox High Definition AV Pack for $10.00 at the Berryessa Flea Market in San Jose, CA back in 2016. And it looks outstanding on a HDTV (I own a few HDTVs).
Great job, this was something that helps out the collecting community immensely. The amount of time you took as well must have been crazy. Seriously, great video!
Thanks man :) Testing every single game was a monotonous time suck to say the least haha ;)
Syberia is capable of running at 1080i. In order to do it you need to enable 1080i and disable 720p in the dashboard. If you have both enabled it will just default to 720p.
Is it possible there’s a game that checks these flags, but prioritizes them incorrectly? For example, it might support 720p and 480p, but runs in 480p if both are enabled?
Brilliant thought! I disabled 480p and gave Sonic Heroes, Eragon, Codename: Kids Next Door a try. Sadly none booted in 720p mode (only 480i) despite their packaging. I then gave Syberia a try, disabling everything but 1080i. Sure enough it booted up in 1080i! Sadly it suffers from Enter The Matrix syndrome, where it's upscaled 480p. Even worse it stretches the 4:3 art to 16:9 making it even more unappealing. Still, unexpected! Lastly, I fired up NCAA Football 2K3 with the 480p and 1080i flags disabled, only 720p enabled. Sadly it stayed stuck on the black screen. It makes me curious what (if any) other prioritization bugs their might be. Again, great thought!
Wow! Very useful content and a great contribution to gaming as a whole.
There are two games I wish you had noted: Panzer Dragoon Orta and Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions. Both support 480p on 1.0-1.5 models, but if the 480p flag is set on a 1.6 model console, they will output an unplayably scrambled 480p image, meaning you HAVE to either rip and patch your executable, or turn the 480p flag off and run them at 480i. I don't know of any other games with this issue, but those are the two that I definitively know suffer from it.

Thanks for taking the time to produce this video.
Holy shit. Congrats on the Xbox collection. Impressive! Thank you for your work as well. :)
With some of these games, you could tell me it's an Xbox 360 game and I'd believe you.
I was really taken back by NBA Live '07, what a beautiful game! NBA Ballers and Mortal Kombat Armageddon also look next-gen with their super smooth frame rates and sharp textures.
Fantastic, well researched video once again!
Hey there!
Hi!
Hiya!
THANK YOU! I have been absolutely fascinated with this lately as I didnt know anything about HD as a kid and didnt care as I was only 4 when Xbox launched and I played PS2 and gamecube mostly as a kid and this month and last month got components for both ps2 and xbox and just super fascinated I can run games in HD but now I know some of them are just a hoax lol but it is cool when it flickers to 480p/720p on a console I played in 480i with just standard RGB yellow white red and knew zero about for years 😂
Great video. I got myself the Xbox Advanced AV pack and never knew how many errors there were in the wikipedia lists!
This was really awesome, a truly great comparison and hey nice xbox set! !
This was very interesting and something that I have never even thought of. I have never been particularly observant on resolution and fidelity and would never notice upscaled games but it's awesome that not only do you notice but you have started to set the record straight about it all.
Also it seems like such a waste that ATARI Anthology of all games is in 1080i, they are Atari games!!
Haha, it is kind of a waste for the Atari Anthology to be 1080i ;) At least the menu screens look nice!
lol if you think that was strange the PS2 supported a few games in 1080i and one of them was "Jackass: the game". I couldnt make that up even if i tried XD
I disagree. Vector arcade games really benefit from the HD output.
Very well presented video for such a small channel! Defiantly will grow with more content like this man. Great info btw, much enjoyed
THAT'S WHY MY 2K3 WON'T BOOT UP! THANK YOU!!!
This is amazing work. I'm subscribed
I'm really surprised the developers didn't allow either Halo games to output in higher resolution since that was what EVERYONE was playing back then.
I don't own an xbox, but the PS2 is also capable of upscaling. Games like Black (which should be the same on xbox) can output in 480P as well. PS2 has some weird ways of doing it tho...
On Black, you hold X and Triangle after the playstation logo. Games like Gran Turismo 4 can output in 480P or 1080I as well which can be done in the settings menu, same with MK deception and Armageddon.
It's cool that these 'old' consoles could output at such a high standard, when most people were still using old tube tv's.
When you upscale, they look really good on a modern tv.
Halo at E3 2001 was in rough shape with a bad framerate. No way it could have gone higher than 480p at launch.
Great video Kris! I really appreciate all the hard work and effort you put into this. Thank you for doing this video. :)
Just want to say I've been following you off and on for awhile an you just seem to keep topping yourself. Congrats on the video and keep pushing yourself.
Thank you Sir!
Would you be able to list all of the games that support 16:9 if you get the chance?
Original Xbox AND video output jargon in one video??? What a day!
*WHAT A LOVELY DAY!*
Superb video, covering technical information and guidance, plenty of captured in-game footage and even a shot of your impressive OG XBox collection :-)
This is an incredible compilation my dude, I'm really impressed and even a bit jealous that you have a complete NTSC Xbox collection. Then again, maybe it's better that I don't have a complete collection as I just don't have room for it, lol. Even though 720p and 1080i is great I like to think of my Xbox as a mostly 480p console since, as you mentioned in your video, some games are just upscaled with no graphical improvement and even a dip in framerate. 1080i is also not too friendly with most modern flat screens since those TV's don't take kindly to interlaced content and will just deinterlace it. The process might add some graphical errors and even input lag as a result. It seems that 720p is a hit or miss output, some games look amazing with no drop in performance while others didn't get a true 720p treatment. To be fair 480p is still fine to use, HD flatscreens handle a progressive image pretty nicely.
The evil dead run at 720p.. And looks great!
Some of these games could actually pass as 360 exclusives with minimal enhancements. Wow!
The original Xbox was quite the machine!
the OG xbox was the best xbox imo.
Especially Crash Nitro Kart
OMG you own every single original xbox game in North America. WICKED
Very informative as always. Well done. The component cables I use also work on the PS2 but I may want a dedicated set for xbox as sometimes the clarity just inst there.
Just a heads up I own Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and it has a packaging error stating that it supports 720p which it doesn’t it only supports 480p
Thanks for all your effort Kris. Great stuff! Without playing the Atari compilation and/or Dragons Lair, it seems best to keep your Xbox @720p. Since some games render the faux-1080i when this is option is selected from the dashboard. Forcing them into 720p is so much better.
More food for thought: as the Atari Anthology stuff doesn't really contain additional detail (outside of those cool borders) your probably better off leaving it at 720p as well to reduce input lag (most TVs can scale from 720p to 1080p or 4k with less than a frame of lag, verses de-interlacing 1080i which takes at least 1 frame of lag).
I would love if the Xbox had the option to internaly upscale all of it's games to 720p/1080i like Enter the Matrix and Scarface do.
Impressive effort gone into this
Great work, thanks!!!
You're welcome!
So between the 480i list and the HD list, I am making the proclamation that the best xbox games are 480p
OutRun 2006 Coast 2 Coast is 480i.
What I find really odd is how the Xbox version of 25 to life features proper widescreen support with unstretched UI, while the PC version stretches the UI. I wonder why's that. It's also amusing how some games, like Hulk Ultimate Destruction, leave the UI in the middle of the screen as opposed to stretching or re-positioning them to the edges.
2:56 When you earn the right to flex over everyone
Thanks for making this list. Must of took forever to do.
I know that apparently 007: Everything or Nothing has this weird bug, but it's possible for 1080i to override 480p and make it 480i in driving sections. I can't confirm it for myself as I don't own it but this is what I've heard from a video focused on that game.
I appreciate this list very much. I'm currently producing my own list on my channel. The original xbox has 264 north american console exclusives how ever as i'm sure you're aware only around 100 say it on the box. Check it out if you get some time kris.
Aside from you and I. I'm starting to think no one thinks the original Xbox is fun too collect for. But to me I think it one of the last systems that is truly fun to collect for.
Will do! From what I can tell on FaceBook groups there is a pretty healthy Xbox collecting scene, with many working on their full sets. A few Xbox collections put mine to shame haha :) I would agree its a great system to collect for. I completed my set over a 1 year period from June of 2016 to June 2017 and I found hundreds of games for $.99 or less. I do believe things are starting to get a little more pricey at this point (I paid $70 for OutRun 2006: Coast to Coast, it's much more now) as the folks with the most childhood nostalgia for the Xbox (and PS2/GCN) are starting to hit the workforce and have disposable income.
implantgames oh really what could be better than your full set? I'm tempted to just got for it my self. I have all the rares.
I've been collecting of xbox basically since it died out in 05 I'm around 400 games. All mint CIB. I'm an anal collector haha. But when I was young I thought all the exclusives were awesome so set out on a journey to figure out each one.
The only rare xbox game I'm missing is futurama. I got my out run coast to coast for 74 $ so not too bad. My best find by far was steel battalion new for 250$ christmas of 2016. Its the holy trail in my collection.
I really think the xbox is a special console that deserves more love. That's why I focus on it so hard on my channel.
I was playing my xbox on an old crt : ( so I guess it doesn't matter... It's still crazy to think the console would support hd : o
CRTs are better.
Xbox always ahead of its time
If you want some good HD component cables I recommend the monster cables
I don't believe I have ever run into the OG Xbox Monster cables in the wild.
Making you own is not a bad way to go. I turned a 360 component cable into an Xbox cable with a little bit of work. It also supports S/PDIF.
Better off getting Psyclone component cables instead, similar quality if not better than Monster. But building your own is a good idea though.
2:04 That same problem goes for lists of PS2 games with 480p support, for example, the PS2 version of Shadow the Hedgehog is listed as supporting 480p even though that game actually doesn't have it.
this video is excellent, thank you! it's a shame that 720p support was dropped for the final ESPN titles. I would be interested in a look at games that run at 480p 16:9 like OutRun here.
Great job!
Excellent video. Sadly HD and component cables actually only works on NTSC systems. On a PAL system you really need to hack/chip it and switch the video output to NTSC. In PAL country we only got 578p I believe.
lactobacillusprime
I think you guys only got 576i.
Carl's right, same on Gamecube as well. BUT for standard Def TV's BOTH output at full Pal 60 and didn't switch to NTSC 60 like Dreamcast and the handfull of PS2 games with a 60hz mode did, which is the best standard def output you can get if you can force RGB (sadly not possible with Gamecube, but works with X-Box.) Looks WAY better than NTSC outputting RGB at 480i.
The anti-aliasing is very impressive
Great job ! i stick with 480p with an Mclassic
Darkwatch is 480i?
The 720p patch xbe is working great on my 64MB box.
2:59 im mind blown
Great list! None of the games I own or want to play run on 720p lol. But that’s okay.
11:30, working as expected.
Very nice and informative video, thanks. There's only one Japanese exclusive I know of that supports 720p - Double STEAL II (Wreckless 2), although I'm not sure if that's true 720p.
You're welcome!
Every time I come here, there's always new gaming vocabulary I acquire. Very insightful :)
3:22 Everything or Nothing does support 480p if only the 480p flag is enabled in the dashboard. The driving segments have a strange issue where it outputs in 480i if other resolutions are selected
Question about Enter The Matrix. I know you said the gameplay is just upscaled but what about the live-action cutscenes? Are those in true 1080i or are those also upscaled?
Everything or Nothing is 480p compatible you just have to turn off the 1080i setting in the dashboard.
This is an awesome informational video. It's a real shame about Sonic Heroes, I really wanted to play that in HD.
But I will take 720p Soulcalibur II on original XBOX :D
Victor Vallim Oh, really? That's cool, I look into it. Thank you! :D
Sonic Heroes does not run in 720p on any Xbox. It's not a hardware variant issue, the packaging has an error.
Is it possible 720p was dropped close to release and not removed from the packaging?
Absolutely. A 720p beta would be pretty rad!
I recently got a free xbox. The only missing the video output caples. While looking component cable and find out that xbox can output 720p. I want to see how many game support this. Thanks for the references
Are we just gonna skip the curious fact that literally every game listed in here in either 720p or 1080i are 3rd party games, to my knowledge? Like, if the Xbox can go all the way to 1080i, even natively rendered as evidence with Dragon's Lair 3D, WHY didn't Microsoft try to push the graphical envelope with say....oh I don't know... *HALO?* Or at the very *least* Halo 2?
I was more impressed EA, not known for innovation, seemed to support HD the most.
lol it was the 6th generation, anything was possible and it happened thats why itll always be my favorite gen.
Because increasing the resolution is pretty demanding on its own. Most devs wanted to use the hardware to make their games pretty, especially Microsoft. HD was sort of an afterthought at the time. Not many cared about HD gaming until the 7th generation came along.
Hey, I couldn't find anywhere a list of Xbox games that ran in 540p, do you have any data on that? Seems like an excelent middle-ground for the time.
Enter The Matrix does look better on 1080i mode than 480P.
However, PAL -version of the game does not support any HD-mode, not even 480P on modded XBOX.
Also, wasn't Ricochet Lost Worlds on HD resolution?
Man, great collection. How many euro & japan exclusives are there for Xbox?. Is it something you've thought about going for or is it too pricey or just not appealing?.
I'm honestly not sure how many exclusives there are in other territories. As for my collection I drew the line at North American black labels, though I did snatch up the Burger King games and a few other non-black label titles. Honestly the amount of variants and collectors editions is pretty nuts!
5:34 is 720p on OG Xbox
2:56 when you conveniently have a full north american library of games.
Why did they remove this for PAL regions? The gamecube did the same, and the ps2 has a very limited selection of 480p only...
With PS2 it was mostly because the majority of the games didn't have a 60hz mode for PAL, and you'll notice all the 480p games do (I owned 200+ PS2 exclusives on PAL, all my multi-plats that gen were on X-Box or Gamecube for the better graphics, 60hz and widescreen modes, and only about 30 or 40 of those 200+ have 60hz modes, and very few multi-plats do, dumped lots of them while they were still worth money and upgraded them to the PS3 remasters, Ratchet and Clanks, Jak & Dexters. DMC and Ico/Colossus etc but still got over 150 left.)
And with the Gamecube it was something they did with the video signal on purpose to stop imports (a PAL GC can NOT output RGB, you could force the PAL N64 but the same tricks, using a forced RGB input on your TV, or a scart selector box with something else RGB powered on in an unselected scart slot, only outputs a black screen with sound on the GC, and they used the same TV leads.) So I think it was connected to that, but with a modded Wii you can use a Gamecube launcher to run them all in 480p off the actual physical discs.
With X-Box I have no idea, because a modded one can force 480p and higher, so the higher texture files for 720p and 1080i are still on the discs, and its all in 60hz to begin with.

You should make a video of gamecube games that support progressive scan
What about Tony Hawk's American Wasteland and Project 8? They were both released on the original xbox.
Both 480p only, same with THSP2X and THPS3.
Do you have any info on pal games, pal Xbox don’t have the resolution selector but if you mod it you can add it
Sadly I do not :(
Wish I had your 480i only list a few months ago. It was around that time that I learned that the useful forced progressive scan trick, where you click down the analog sticks while holding down the shoulder buttons, doesn't work on everything. I was pissed when it didn't work on Ultimate Spider-man and XGRA. Guess I'll try the Gamecube copies of each and use my SD card launcher with Swiss...
I've been told about the forced progressive scan trick but I have never able to get it to work. Which games did you find success with?
Oh, I had it work with several games that aren't listed as having native 480p support on either the box or on any list. Star Wars Republic Commando, Indiana Jones and Emperor's Tomb, Crimson Sea, Lord of the Rings The Third Age, Pirates: The Legend of Black Kat, Medal of Honor Frontline, XIII, etc.. You have to do the input at the Xbox dashboard, not while in the middle of any game. You should seen the screen do the blinking to black a few times as you seen in 6th gen games activating progressive scan.
Since Ultimate Spiderman and XGRA are the two games that I've tried that don't work with this trick, I'm wondering if it has to with the encoding of the first prerendered video that plays. It may just be hardcoded to run in 480i and, once it does, progressive scan can't be achieved again during gameplay without some type of hacking.
I'm starting to think this trick is a myth. All of those games run in progressive scan without doing the trick.
I did some retesting to see if that was the case, and I'm getting some results I didn't anticipate.
Star Wars Republic Commando was dropping progressive scan right after the very first splash logo card. I knew this couldn't be right, because I distinctly remember this was the first game I tested this trick on, and it stayed 480p everywhere in game. Upon trying a few variables, it seems that by setting the Xbox screen mode to widescreen may have caused it to fail to keep 480p, since setting it back to fullscreen, and loading the game again with the trick enabled did indeed maintain 480p all the way through, just as I did 2 years ago when I learned about this.
It's possible that this may also affect Ultimate Spiderman and XGRA. I've kept the Xbox set to widescreen all the time since quite a few games use it, and just change the TV mode depending on if the game does or doesn't have a widescreen option. If it is that the aspect ratio setting may have some effect on how some games boot into 480p, then I'm going to have to try some more tests. I no longer have those games, since I traded them off when I found I couldn't get 480p out of them, so maybe I should try getting them again to test. Or maybe you could test the trick with the system set to fullscreen when trying those games since you have all the games :P
Though, with the trick turned off, and the settings put to fullscreen, the game did boot in 480p when loaded. I truly don't remember that being the case two years ago. It was not the first Xbox game I had when I first got my system and games for it, and after I got my component cables, I remember every game was 480p compatible. Republic Commando was the first one I got that didn't go 480p when used normally, without the trick. I must have had the system set to widescreen, and had used the trick with it set to fullscreen, which seems to have tricked me into thinking the trick worked.
Even so, the ratio setting may be throwing off other games. When you tried Medal of Honor Frontline, did your game keep switching back to 480i during the loading screens? Mine did.
Disabling widescreen definitely allows Star Wars Republic Commando to run in progressive instead of interlaced (updated the corrections and clarifications), however this doesn't require the trigger/thumbstick trick to work. It's odd to me this game will run in 480p with the widescreen flag disabled, but 480i with widescreen enabled. Curiously there are a couple of Dreamcast games that exhibit this same behavior, only allowing widescreen in interlaced mode (such as Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2).
Do you have a modded Xbox? Perhaps there is something with a modchip or alternate dashboard where this button combo is coming from.
Scarface is at 720 it looks really good
It would've been really cool if the Xbox had DVI.
007 Everything or Nothing has 480p driving levels
So i have a question.
I have a modded PAL xbox that i have set to NTSC using enigmah. Then switched to 480, 720P etc. Just switching from PAL to NTSC makes the screen alot clearer. But is that enough?
My question is. Will my PAL games run in 480P+? Or do i need to track down an NTSC copy of the game to make it fully run in 480P+ which NTSC games do. Or is it just the XBE that i need to replace?
I'd be interested to see how the 480i games run when forced into 480p just to see if there is some slowdown.
There's a bunch of patches that force 480i games to run in 480p and 720p. 480p generally doesn't matter but 720 can really hurt framerate. If you mod your Xbox to have more ram there's actually a lot of games which are playable at 720p proving it wasn't a power issue just a ram issue. Also, the only reason most games ran at 480i was because they were ps2 ports and developers figured it was a waste of effort since nearly everyone in that era was gaming on a CRT.
And with those shoddily made cables comes crap tons of interference...banding like that of typical RCA cables without any shielding. Useful to know if you plan to capture OG Xbox :D
I have both official Xbox cables (the breakaway box and the traditional cable) as well as a Tomee cable. The Tomee cable performed fine, though the thinness of the cable makes me think it will fail sooner than later.
Shoot, I meant to ask if these captures were made using the tomee cables. I've got a set of OldSkool cables that are of a similar build...and they're simply dreadful.
You missed the Spongebob Movie Game
That games tops out at 480p.
@@implantgames Yes! And it should work wonders on My Xbox 360
Halo, and condemned were all i played on this thing haha
Captain Yasopp Condemned was a 360 launch title, not an OG Xbox game.
KillThad no way thats crazy i refuse to believe you and i won't because only my truth matters you won't bring me down.
:D
2 things. Half of these are sports games and at 8:50 it sounds like he says rimjob...
My Xbox has very blury video out even compared to PS2 in 480i and I did research into it and apparently different Xboxs have different video encoders and the early ones create a bad RGB output coupled with the flicker filter make the output very blury. But I also found out that some games will work 480p only on the older Xboxs and so I wonder if that has anything to do with the unclear list about 720p and if it's different depending on the Xbox.

I have a 1.0 Xbox and it seems sharp too me!
Must be your setup. Ps2 is known to have terrible video quality.
@@robarmstrong5404 That's simply not true. PS2 has great video out. The belief PS2 has bad video out I blame on RUclips were people upload poorly deinterlaced video.
@@OwtDaftUK I have a modded ps2 with over 200 games. I've used 480p and 1080i for gt4 it's still more blurry than my modded xbox at the exact 480p. 720p can be patched on almost all xbox games too, and that's native 720p. It's a massive difference.
@@robarmstrong5404 My PS2 is perfectly shape so the issue must be with your setup.
1080i is a beat feat for the System, but imo it's worse than 720p. Progressive scan is just so much better than interlaced that'd I'd never choose 1080i over 720p, hell, I'd take 480p with a good upscaler over 1080i with a good deinterlacer. I just hate flicker, idk, maybe my eyes are just sensitive to it (which is odd as I am not a videophile, like I can see the difference between RGB and S-Video, on most systems, but I don't really think the improvement is as big as people make it out to be).
Your channel doesn't get enough attention and it's irritating! Good job
Are you going to update the Wikipedia page?
Hi great video but I'm not sure about dragons lair 3d rendering native 1080 but interlaced I believe is more like 1920x540p upscaled to 1080i hard to confirm that also there is a video on youtube from ign u can see release build directX 640x480i 32bit any thoughts?
The Pound HDMI cable is also pretty good.
Fate For Windows
But no surround sound. ☹️
Yeah, it's sad. They said adding it would probably double the cost.
Fate For Windows
That's bullshit. In all likelihood, the converter chip they're using already has the capability to use S/PDIF. I've heard speculation that all Pound is doing is buying off-the-shelf YPbPr to HDMI converters and building it into a cable.
Here's their response to your quote when I sent a reddit message to them:
"Yes to some extent all PCBs use off the shelf parts. You don’t imagine Apple manufactures all their own capacitors, do you? The configuration of how parts are put together matters."
Fate For Windows
I would have no issue at all if that's what they do. However, the speculation I heard was that they bought boards from standalone converters then slapped a new case on it with an Xbox connector. If they actually developed their board, they easily could've incorporated S/PDIF.
Show your fuckin Xbox collection.......please. 😆 A full North American set is impressive.
Haha ;) It looks about the same up close as it does far away, just a ton of game sitting on a shelf.
This is exactly why i never appreciated a new gen console. i always got the best picture from my consoles at the time and when a next gen console came out i was very disappointed. Also probably how the wii held up so well for its time.
What’s the best HD cable I can get for the original Xbox?
Official cables, psyclone, or monster cables are all fine choices. I would stay away from anything modern, as most of it seems to be rebranded cheap stuff coming out of China, and the quality is subpar.
Kris is a Boss!
Tony Hawk 3 is 480i to my recollection.
480p. Every tony hawk game on og xbox supports at least 480p. In fact, Thps 3 will only run on a 360 through backwards compatibility if the resolution is set to 480p. Anything higher will cause it to freeze on start up
