- Thanks again for taking a look at my videos!
This video is a tutorial/ instructional video on how to use the Mamiya RZ67
I did not mention the flash components to this camera, but there is a hot shoe that you can see in the video for an external flash or the flash sync terminal on the lens for the option to use studio lighting :)
To purchase this camera keep an eye out on www.keh.com you will see it being sold in separate parts once in a while. It is harder to come across these days. But it does pop up.
I did purchase my camera used/ in good condition, they are strong cameras and KEH is a reputable website, so the descriptions are very accurate.
www.bhphotovideo.com for all your other film needs including the LR44 6V battery which you need in order for the camera to fully function.

Let me know in the comments below if you think I missed anything, or if you need me to clarify any aspects of the camera :)
Thanks for Watching!

Thank you for the walkthrough. 2 years later it is still extremely helpful.
One thing to note about the small graph on the side is that it indicates any compensation to the exposure when the bellows are extended. Light gets dimmer the longer it travels into the camera so you might need to open up at any given bellow extension
I actually didn't even know that. Thank you for that pro tip. Maybe I'll actually look at that graph today, it always just intimidated me.
@@magidaelk that's actually really embarassing for someone who has the gall to put out an instructional video...
@@mx5701 you’re a loser cuz the video still helped me lol
Never had anyone point out the dark slide holder before. Really helpful tip! Thank you :)
Glad you found taht helpful!
Awesome tutorial. I'm looking at purchasing this for next film camera. Thanks.
Thank you for posting. Very informative. Well done.
Thanks you ! i just receive my camera today and this help me !
Great video. I am thinking about buying one of these. Your video really helps me understand the camera and what I might be getting myself into. Thank you so much for making it.
You won't regret owning one of these :)
Thank you!
Thanks for the video.
I now know how my RB67 differs from the RZ67.
Great review. Thanks
Ay! great tutorial (Y)
Nice tutorial, I am debating on picking one up to start shooting medium format as I’m starting to get bored and un motivated shooting mirrorless
If you can get your hands on one, do it! You’ll love it
Thanks! What focal length is your lense?
Hello bravo for your explanatory video, I also have this camera for a short time, ..
I have a little question to ask you if you wash the answer it would be great, my camera does not trigger in normal position on the " white dot (, when I do not put a film in the back / cartridge, ..
... It triggers when I put on the M position (superposition,) and when I put a film in the back / carthouche it triggers at all speeds on the white point (normal position) ... So do you have to put a film on your back for it to trigger? Thank you very much if you can illuminate my lights.
Best regards
i’m new to cameras and just inherited this one, the exposure is on S, i’m not sure how to change that or what it means.
good video, but you forgot one thing, the pattern on the focus scale, this tells you what the bellows factor is, essentially how much to compensate the meter reading for the light lost due to bellows extension.
Thank you for adding this note, I still have trouble understanding the scale on the side, if you have any good tutorial videos that explain it please link!
I’m very intimidated by this camera. I bet it takes good photos though. Does it have VSCO?
lol VSCO like the app?
Just got mine… the shutter button doesnt fire and makes a beeping noise, I already put a new battery and still nothing, do you maybe know why ..😣
Maybe a stupid question, is the camera on “off” go to 1:30 of this code to be sure!
you are very beautiful.
