When you download the free trial you are getting their full commercial license with all the bells and whistles. After the 30 day period, you can either purchase the commercial license, apply for their educational license, or get the free personal license. Above I explain how to get the free personal license.
Just a heads up, you don't have to re-install Fusion 360 after it automatically gets downloaded. You simply have to click on the Get Started link for the Personal License to be activated.
The "Personal Use" account cannot open a new sheet in the drawing file and export it to a PDF file. How do I add a new sheet to the drawing file and create a PDF file from the drawing file? Please suggest me.
It seems that personal use has 3 year limit, and this method does not extend free license. After reinstallation I get normal free 30 day trial. Any workaround?
Anyone else in the UK having problems signing in to their Autodesk account? I just went to get a personal licence after my trial expired and was automatically directed to the UK site ( makes sense, I live in the UK ). I went through the steps as described here ( thanks Desktop Makes! ) but the site refused to log me in. It accepted that my login email and password were correct but never actually logged me in, just dumped me back to the 'Get Started' page. In the end I had to go to the USA site where I was able to log in OK and eventually got my licence. Weird.
solidworks, autodesk... wonderful expensive stuff... forces the hobby world to use not so great freecad, kicad, etc...:/ thanks best 360 video with real english...:)
hi Vladimir ( please excuse the spelling) I was wondering if maybe you could shed some light. so I like many recently discovered fusion 360 and started with the 30 day free trial. with the 30 days having expired iv downloaded the 1 year free personal use. the issue I came across was the software not opening and running after a month or two of use. instead I keep getting an error report message instructing me to delete a cache that isn't even found when I search for it . im currently using a MacBook Pro 13"2017.

you forgot to add that there is a 10 "editable" model limit, and manufacturing is limited as well...

but now it only gives you a limit of 10 editable documents
Yes, but that's 10 at a time. You essentially get unlimited editable documents.

Yes, it's renewable as long as you remain eligible.

Hi David, What's not working on your end?
Great video. Do you know if there is an option to enable saving of .dxf files (to allow for water-jet/laser cutting of components)?
Yes! Check out this video ruclips.net/video/VzQ3n46KbHs/видео.html
