I've just discovered this channel. Love how you explain things in a super understandable manner! It would be nice to do a video of the PPK workflow with the Phantom 4 RTK. Also, I've been reading a lot about these Phantom 4 Pro PPK upgrade kits (using a Emlid M2 module) as a cheaper alternative to the P4RTK. It would be really really nice if you could make a comparison between P4RTK and P4P+PPK kit in terms of workflow and accuracy. Looking forward to more of your content!
Great video! As a complete beginner, I'm wondering how you were able to take various GCPs with only one base station receiver? I thought 2 receivers were required to do this. Are you using a subscription service to a local Network Correction Service for this? I'd love to understand why a single receiver cannot be used to take various GCPs without connection to a subscription service. Are you able to make a video to break this down for us novices please?
Good job, but you missed something while entering the RTK position to the drone, you have to edit and input the exact coordinates of the cors station to be more accurate and also adding the cors height if its not zero, regards

What advice would you give someone who's been working on the field for 5 years? 1 * has his part 107 license 2 *does not know how to draft 3*would like to pursue a career in drone work 🙏🏾
Consider working as a drone pilot with a surveying/construction firm. Show interest in processing data and start to learn how to use photogrammetry software. Once you learn how to process imagery, I would start to look into cad and drafting software to extract data. You’re definitely going to want a company that’s going to encourage growth and not suppress you into working in the field your entire career.
Hi rami, could you please make a video using phantom rtk drone with it's D-RTK 2 base placed at known coordinates? I tried this workflow but whenever I input our known coordinates, the D-RTK 2 don't accept and repeatedly rejected them as being > 50m from the base's own solution. Thank you.
Rami. Have you used your P4P with another RTK base? Eg Leica GS14? Currently using a p4p with GCP surveyed with RTK or Total Station in areas that have no Cell service.
Hi Rami. When the drone is receiving corrections from a reach RS2 base, will the drone photos be in the same coordinate system as whatever the base is set to? Or will the photos remain in the drones native WGS84 coordinate system?
dJI should add a third type of rtk, using a gnss over BT. If u think about it its crazy having a gnss and P4rtk together and forced to use internet protocol. Of course i had to buy a drtk2. Once again dji's software Is not at the same level to the hardware
I’m still studying the industry, but Drones are typically considered a “tool in the toolbox” rather than an industry disruptor. These types of drones are typically a few thousand.
Not really, drones are great tools to use for certain applications. There are certain types of projects that this would not be appropriate, so a surveyor will always have a role in deciding which tool they should use for which project.
I wish he had compared it with the price of a total station. It seems to me that robotics with AI will very soon replace the man on the ground. And I hate that even if the AI is better than a human surveyor. You guys should protest being replaced by this junk.

Do you have a dongle with sim card in your drone controller or are you using a wifi hotspot?
So do I need a base station at all if I have the Tri module for the Mavic 3E?

When you say consumer drone needs 10-15 GCPs per 10 acres. Is that 10 acres from point A to point B or square?
