Japan look off the charts. What awesome trails. Bet there is always going to be more discoveries all round the world. Thanks Brian. The timing off your words after the toilet break, crisp lol
Japanese forest is just so beautiful and unique looking to someone like me who has gotten used to seeing mountain biking in deserts and in American or European woods
after coming out of the bathroom he said the last run was wet and muddy :D. Perfect unintended timing. Ok, I'm juvenile :D. Awesome riding, thanks for taking us along.
No chairlift music!? That was the best part when I was there! The dirt truly is epic there, though isn't it? Something about volcanos is pretty special :)
Rode fujiten 2 weeks ago, got 25 runs in on an uncrowed sunny tuesday. Listened to at least 5x madonna songs. Clipped a tree and bent the rental bike crank arm and hurt my foot. Got replacement bike. Next uplift 1st song was footloose, made me laugh.
I love the way the tyres sound on the dirt there! Really entertaining video and amazing riding! Looking forward to watching the rest of the videos from Japan!
Dude, those berms looked insane! They went up so high! And everywhere was loam! Will HAVE to get out to Japan some day. Thanks for bringing us out there with you 👏👊
Man, I remember way back watching your Bentonville rides and thinking "hit that jump!", "boost this... drop that!". Now, you're absolutely railing unknown trails, hitting jumps and drops.. tons of progression in your riding, BK! 🤘
I am extremely new to mountain biking. My kids asked if I would get a bike and we could bike more as a family. I know I could use some more fitness in my life, so I obliged. I started relatively cheap with a GT Agressor PRO, and although it's nothing on the grand scale, I've never rode anything like it. We have been hitting short, simple trails around the state parks here in Minnesota, and I am loving it! Naturally, being a RUclips lover, I trended towards watching MTB videos and found yours. Been watching them back to back tonight and I am amazed! Excellent channel! I subscribed immediately and plan to watch them all! Thank you so much for the inspiration you give me. I've been building a 1/3 mile track on my 5 acres, and can't wait to get in better shape and increase my experience and skills. Thanks again! ~ Josh
Ha ha, that was great when you came at mach 4 into that bumpy section. Reminds me of when we'd be cruising skiing down a groomed run and suddenly come into a bump run we didn't know was there. Such panic. Man that dirt looked awesome. Great video!
Brian and Yoann (and Jaxon) collab is something I would die to see ! Have him take you on Trespasser ;) Thank you for taking us on yet another awesome experience!
😆 You haven’t seen a big guy on a mtn bike till you see my 280 lbs coming down the trail 😉🤘🏼👍🏼 another great video, I learn a ton from your commentary! Cheers from Vancouver BC!
Love your videos man. I just got a giant iguana Haven't rode a bike in 18 years it was a little beat up but a buddy of mine took it to a friend's shop and they took hooked me up, pretty much got a full tune new tires and maybe after awhile I'll upgrade to a fuji as my second bike 🚲
Your Far East trips are always rad. Plus, I think the Ripmo has officially taken the place of the Rallon as the official BKXC bike even though you’ve had it for some time.
Oh come on, this tried to be a positive comment... 😒 I know you have been trying harder on jumps but man, you're really good on every other aspect of mtbking, you ride the best trails on earth and sometimes you ride with pros. I'm just saying you could have gone for a bigger jump every time you were down near the uplift, just that... Cut the hate and the sarcasm, I really enjoy your vids and would love to see you improve your riding...
@@nachoizuel779 I happen to think he's a pretty good rider, better than me, and yes, he rides all over the world with great riders. We are all self motivated to be the best riders we can be, or at least as good as we want to be, and we all make our own decisions on how much air to catch. If he gets busted up he can't make videos, that affects his ability to earn a living. If you want to see big air, there are plenty of RUclips videos for you.. And if you listen to a BKXC video you will notice that his tires are off the ground plenty. Perhaps your little comment to him was more about trying to let people know how good a rider you think YOU are, rather than trying to help him?
I'd recognize that Frenchman's voice anywhere! And did you notice that your driver, Matt, looks like you with long hair? Japan is amazing, Brian. I was there for three years. The people are the most polite you'll find anywhere. Have fun.
Haha...dude takes a digger at 9:35, and you just blew right past him. LOL I was ready for you to say, "Get up man...rub some dirt on it!" Then you said, "It's OK, it's soft. He's fine." How do you know??? I was not feeling much sympathy. :-) So funny.... The trail looked like a blast, and that dirt looked like Iowa or Nebraska farm soil....just DARK and soft. Looking forward to this series!
What a fun video! I dont care that it was the same 3 trails as it was fun everytime.. And your guide is from NZ right? Hearing my accent is so jarring lol
Hey BKXC, nice video! I love the scenery there. I do have a question. What pair of Sunglasses do you prefer while riding? I do have some Oakleys Prisms, which are very nice, but I was curious what you think. Thanks! And I've never really did MTB before, since I do not live near mountain trails. What MTB do you prefer if I'm new to MTB? I want something that is affordable, but very durable. I know that most high quality bikes are mostly over 1000 dollars, but if I did buy one of the high quality ones, which MTB would suit me? Thanks, have fun riding. Ride safe!

first thing i hear "oops i skidded ima get deported" HAHAH got me weakkk
Lol
That soil looked perfect for riding, you guys sounded like you were having a blast! You may have to start a seperate food channel!

I remember that, your wife was so funny on the chairlift. cool moves!
I can't risk losing the $65 this video will eventually earn me by including copyrighted music!!
The 80s were playing eh too bad toto africa wasnt playing
I actually remember those moves and the music and the fog sorta. End of this month il have my own videos for where i live hope you can check em.

Wow..great to see Japan MTB world. 🚴🏁..Thanks Brian ..awesome video ..as always 😁👌 can't wait for next 👍
Some of the most fun trails I’ve seen on your channel for me! Love the gullies and high banks!
This is my favourite trip you’ve made so far 👍🏼 beautiful landscape
You should try and do a skatepark collab with Seth, have him give you some confidence to do some bigger jumps etc.
I love the way the tyres sound on the dirt there! Really entertaining video and amazing riding! Looking forward to watching the rest of the videos from Japan!
The energy in these vids is great
Dude, those berms looked insane! They went up so high! And everywhere was loam! Will HAVE to get out to Japan some day. Thanks for bringing us out there with you 👏👊
i found your channel tonight and i now love mountain biking

You are living the dream guys, good for you.
Dude! Your flow was on point in this park! 🔥
Mentioning the “shit kit” after eating those spicy noodles was freaking hilarious!!!
AMAZING trail in japan, can't wait for more. BK at Jump skill or BKJS lols
I think your friend BCpov was able to ride one of those trails too. Anyhow enjoy your trip in Japan!
I'd love to go back some day :)
Thanks dude!
I think we deserve a trip that you 3 are in it? Hahaha
@@neosho6428 i invited Brian the first time, but we had no plan. Brian needs a plan! 🙂
Make it happen dude! :D That would be an early Christmas gift.
Volvo 240 wagon at 2:00! Super rare to see those over in Japan. Awesome video, BKXC!
I’ve climbed to the top of Mount Fuji, but I can only hope to ride there some day. I love Japan. Thanks for the video!
That dirt looked amazing glad you had so much fun
Totally digging that landscape. So much prettier than what we have down here in the south of Spain. Keep up the good work.....
That looked amazing...great shreddin'.
Smashin laps and eating snacks!! Great video, can’t wait for the next one.
just seeing this. We were both in Japan at the same time making bike videos :)
One of the best vids you made,(that I've watched) keep it up ! That was inspiring!
You'll know its Japan if you see something weird 5:27 , but it looks cool though. The concept of the safety card is so awesome.
The Japan 7-11 is amazing haha. Little octopus, little pancakes put those together... Bam! Loved the riding as well but man Japan is otherworldly!
Ha ha, that was great when you came at mach 4 into that bumpy section. Reminds me of when we'd be cruising skiing down a groomed run and suddenly come into a bump run we didn't know was there. Such panic. Man that dirt looked awesome. Great video!
Loving seeing the Ibis Ripmo in these videos! Such a good bike. Fun vlog/ride video!
Thanks dude!!
Love the look of the forest floor so much. Like a dream.
It was one of a kind!
Wow I just felt like I rode there with you! That was a sick trail!
So cool seeing the progress as you were completing laps, I'm not sure at all if this makes any sense but there it is cool video 🤘🤘
Ride it, don't slide it! Looking forward to this series, I've been so busy I haven't been able to watch much RUclips lately!
Brian and Yoann (and Jaxon) collab is something I would die to see ! Have him take you on Trespasser ;)
Thank you for taking us on yet another awesome experience!
😁 yes, definitely Trespasser!
Cool trails and nice riding!
You riding and clean the environment that i love it
Awesome sauce! Keep it up Brian!!
7-11 is the best. I’m so jealous of you at the moment because you are getting to ride in Japan. 👍🏻👍🏻
My favorite activity in my favorite country. Your a legend!

Great riding another great video
That dirt though... it's amazing!
Yea BK! Shredding!!!
Sounds like me on my first park run... Giddy like a school girl. Good stuff.
That dirt looks interesting ?, nice video BKXC
Wet soil = great grip. Also the same shade: super slippery shallow mud pools. It's a fun guessing game after heavy rain.
Great stuff!! I have the stage helmet and love it! Breathes almost as well as an open face🤘🏻👌🏻
I think its super fun, you ride over n over again.
Can't wait to see more.
Man that dirt looks amazing...and I love the progressive skills stuff at the bottom of the hill...
Amazing track !! Queria umas pistas dessas aqui no Brasil slc
Sweet video. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, collab with Yoan would be super awesome!
I was looking for this comment
Looks superfun 🤘
LOL Looks like a ton of fun!!
Improve your jumping m8!! You have acces to incredible trails, try to clear all the jumps and lil' gaps 😁😁
Huh, never thought about improving my jumping. Glad you mentioned it.
@@bkxc that was well deserved sarcasm. 😊
People who want advice on how to ride take classes. People who shout out unwanted advice are just annoying.
