- The plaintiff met the defendant on a dating website and let the defendant and her kids move in with her after a month. She says the defendant assaulted her one night after they went out to the club. She’s suing for emotional distress and stolen property. The defendant argues the plaintiff is the one who started the altercation. She’s countersuing for a security deposit and emotional distress.

Nah.. when you both live in the home they'll ask someone to leave for the night. It's considered both their home if they're tenants. Her having family local meant to them that she had somewhere to go. They're both crazy for moving in together and putting their children at risk.

Or if they thought that she just needed to sober up they would have just took her to jail for the night and not pressed charges.
My best friend & her girlfriend met at the beginning of Oct., by the 1st of Nov. they had signed a lease for an apartment, enrolled their kids into new schools, got a dog, and got a car jointly. By mid December they were fighting all the time, there was drama and accusations of cheating; they broke up but still lived together, and it was a hot ass mess. I don't know why things had to move so fast, they barely knew one another, and these crazy ass girls literally did this like 3 more times before they decided that they really loved one another and wanted to make it work. If they would have just slowed down and not have been so quick to want to play house, the majority of the issues would have been avoided. I will say, they did finally figure their shit out, and have been together for over 8 yrs now.
